BE AWARE OF THIS ACIMA, IT IS SCAM!!!! This is a warning to everyone who work hard for their money and get ripped off. I would have given this company negative ratings. After my 90 day **** of 27th Dec 2022, I was left with $40. They added $ *******!!!!! Are you serious ACIMA??? I read the lease agreement and NO WHERE does it mention additional amount after 90 day.Acima

Very horrible company. I tried to explain that I wanted to pay off balance in to monthly payments, and they had me still on auto pay and said that my bank charges a return fee, and chime doesn't incur insufficient fund fees. To make a long story short I spoke with someone who was suppose to set me up for two monthly payments to pay it off and they keep putting me on auto pay and raising my amount due. And the representative I spoke to was rude and wouldn't hear me out. I have breathing issues and high blood pressure and calling me and harassing me makes things worse. Stay away from this company they are know good all I want to do is make two monthly payments and be done with them.Acima

Joke of a company, got approved for $425 for best buy, ordered a meta Quest 2 and wanted to pick it up. By the way it was 1 hour pickup, when I got to best buy they said that the acima virtual card was declined. I called acima customer service and they said that something messed up with the order and I can re-apply for a lease, but have to make another $70 initial payment. The $70 initial payment that I already made will be refunded within the next 2-3 weeks. What a joke of a business, they should have many lawsuits against them for scamming people like this.Acima

0/5 stars. This company is predatory. I was not made aware that after 90 days a large amount would be added onto my total. At the end of November I had around $600 left to pay on my car repair. Now, at the end of December my total is $1300+ which is more than I took out to pay for the repair to begin with. I am a teacher just trying to get by and this company has put me in an even worse position than where I started when I needed to finance the car repair. I consider myself a financially aware person and understand the basic rules and parameters around lending and borrowing. This company purposefully makes their agreement and consumer account dashboards confusing, misleading, and hides the important information. I wish I would have just put the repair on a credit card. These are disgusting, predatory business practices. Avoid acima at all costs for your financial health.Acima

This company reminds me of Acceptance Now,they shouldn't be allowed to conduct business. I will say the customer service representatives I spoke to were very patient, sympathetic, and understanding about my problem. I was given multiple options of returning furniture and canceling lease. My problem is my early pay out option for Nov 2022,wasn't even 900$, job status , etc ,I wasn't able to do it,now *********** out option is $1465.99,but remaining balance I'll be paying $2255.37! ??, also your payment amount isn't correctly shown why? Your payment amount + taxes is what's shown i.e. $161.90+ taxes. I love the store I bought the furniture from,but won't get anything else from them unless I can pay upfront, I swore after Acceptance Now, I would always pay attention to what I was doing when buying furniture, but apparently I wasn't listening to myself, years passed and I got complacent. I will remember this time,so there definitely won't be a next time, I wish everyone had the customer service representatives I had,because as I said they fully explained everything to me, including return options, so since i didn't return my furniture ,I will be paying another predatory loan,basically at this point its on me,but I needed to get this off my chest. I gave 5 stars because of the customer service representatives. But I'll still leave a store if I find Acima is the only option because my wallet and credit let me down.Acima

Horrible company. Leasing is not flexible as they claim. Encountered several staff who were barely 6 months employed. Would contact me for second lease and when I would respond would deny me. Told me I couldn't have 2 leases BUT I have had 2 leases before and paid them off in full. Shared info with someone not authorized then lied and said they didn't talk to me after the fact when in fact (****) did talk to me. To lie, endanger my personal info with only being 6 months on the job is unconsciously derelict in job duty. I'm using snap finance just to get away from acima. I suggest you do the same. I would leave no stars of I could but I can't. Use them at you own risk!Acima

Paid my account off with them and notice there was a balance of $370. I called and spoke with ******* and was told the remaining balance was from them trying to take out the payment and they charged me $25 extra because my check was not deposited in my account at that same exact time they tried to take my payment but it was later that day so they got there payments that day it just was not at the time they tried, so they charged me extra, I should of never been charge any late payment if they received the payment that same day just at a later time. While on the phone with ******* he at one point said he didnt want to wast his time, so I asked to speak with a supervisor he transferred me to another person who was also rude and told me if I had money then I would be charged the extra, I told him excuse me how can you tell me if I have money or not are you trying to make me feel like Im poor or lesser than you? I told him he was rude for that and that I obviously have money if they received the payments that day just at a later time of that day and he shouldnt be trying to make people feel like they dont have money. The customer service I received today was terrible and the worst ever, both people I spoke with on the phone were rude and should never make anyone calling in feel the way they made me feel. Rude service and all they were trying to do was get more money out of me when I have paid off my account and made all my payments for the last 52 weeks.Acima
