      This is an illegitimate company that operates a scam. We first noticed a charge from acima to our card about a month ago. It was coupled with a series of charges to restaurants that are thousands of miles from where we live. We have also never visited that area. We closed that card and alerted our bank. Every questionable charge was returned.A week or two later, the Acima charge pops up again. After a conversation with our bank we were told that acima challenged the fraud charge. Because the charge was coupled with a signature and all of our correct contact information the money was returned to them. I called and was told that the fraud department would be happy to handle it, but not with me. My husband's name is first on the bank account so they treated me as though I had no rights to the account at all. Fine. So my husband called when he was free.He was on hold and sent from person to person for more than an hour before they sent him to the fraud department. Once there he was told they could not do anything about the money, or give him any other info until he gave them our FULL bank account and routing number. They continued demanding more and more information from him and, ultimately, hung up when he told them that wasn't going to happen. Every time either of us have had to deal with them they are just horrible. From "hello" they are antagonistic and defensive. They don't listen to the person on the line and pointedly speak over you until you just capitulate and let them be. We are pursuing what legal means are available to us to retrieve our identities from this company's liberal use.

      I lost track of a payment or 2 a while back and went on the make up payment plan so they are charging my bank $16 and change (after tax) and yet while they take the money they are basically saying I am not paying, while I have picture proof from both the site and my bank that they are pulling the money every 2 weeks. Plus its saying I owe more in one section but on the make up plan it tells me how much I have left to pay which is less.

      They charged me a late fee when my payment wasnt due until the 30th. I write down every bill due date every 2 weeks so I dont miss a payment so I know what day it was due. Today I they tried to take the money out early so I went in to pay it and they charged me a late fee on the 29th a day before my due date. I tried to get it fixed and they told me its due every Friday. However my next payment is due on a Monday. If you are really desperate and need money, please dont use this company.

      If I could leave 1 star I would. This company ***** its ******** on their site it clearly says if you need to make changes contact customer service. I have twice no one wants to do a ******* thing. F****** scam

      I have never done a review anywhere but this is ridiculous! They are absolutely horrible scam! They enter information in the system incorrectly and take money out your account when they are not suppose to. Then when you ask them to verify, they do not call back. Then the they started processing my final payment a day early so I dont have the option for early payout!

      ScM artist I paid off early they tried to steal money from my bank account after they showed me paid in full then they reopened the account and are calling me and hanging up making prank calls I have retained a lawyer and am suing them for fraud mismanagement and attempted extortion

      0/10- ************ is trash. I received an email stating that my lease was denied due to not being able to verify my identity, probably because it wasn't me! I reached out trying to get more information on this fraud. I was told not to worry about it that it was only one email, that I shouldn't worry about it, if I see anything on my credit report then to give them a call back. Like seriously? I'm supposed to wait? Hey someone's trying to steal from you, just wait till they do it don't try to stop them. Horrible company, slum.

      Scam. In store reps told me the payments where set up to pay 90 days same as cash. Not the case, they failed to mention you have to make extra payments. After 90 days they double the price on a piece of c*** furniture.

      We bought a recliner and couch using Acima along with the extended warranty. The day after we brought the furniture home, the recliner frame broke. It's been three months and the recliner is still broke and now the couch is sagging! I was going to return the recliner to Acima but they offered a settlement. We've now paid close to $400 dollars a piece of furniture we can't use and a couch that after three months is already sagging! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

      It's the biggest scam out there. Spoke to an in store representative who said if I go over 90 days is just have to pay the interest up to that point. Called a rep (like the instore suggested) to see about pushing the date keeping in mind I've paid 3/4s of it and find out for an extra 100$ I can supposedly get 7 extra days or if I pay when I was hoping I'd have to pay an extra $3500. For 16 days pay the 90. And the guy was seriously condescending and wouldn't send me a written agreement of everything we spoke of, including the chat from the previous day. Seriously stay clear of this. There are way better companies that don't try to scam you out of over double the purchasing price
