      I had a death in the family and my early purchase expired on 11/7/24. Due to having to travel out the country I called upon my return to pay and see if they can honor my EPE from 11/7/24 w/o having to charge me the additional $100.00. Mind you I calIed today 11/15/24 explained my situation and they were extremely insensitive to what my family and I are going through. This was not my first time doing business with Acima. I have been a long time loyal customer for about more than 5 years with an excellent payment history. The CEO ***** ******** needs to do a better job at sometimes accommodating his long customers due to certain circumstances. $100 really not waived? I would like a call back to see how this can be fixed.

      It's been a nightmare.I ordered furniture on 10/30 from ****** because the delivery date was 11/6. This was great since I have a housewarming scheduled for 11/9.I have not heard anything from Acima, so I called today, 11/6 to check on my delivery just to find out that it was shipped to RENT A CENTER of all places. They said that Rent a Center received it on 10/31, and it would be delivered on 11/12. I was told by the first *** to contact Rent a Center since they received the furniture on 10/31. Now I am really frustrated. Every time you call, the ***s are clueless.I called Rent a Center, and they said they could not see my lease information and to call Acima. I called Acima back and spoke to another *** or put me on hold 5 times to figure out what was going on. She randomly hung up.I called Acima back and was able to speak to a supervisor (****** *.) who could CARE LESS. He informed me that Rent a Center will not receive my furniture until the 11/12 and that I would not receive my furniture until after that date (no specific date). He said I could cancel but it would take longer to get my purchase power back so that I should just wait. He also said that, "most customers know that it will take long"...I asked to speak to another supervisor, but he said that he was the only one. I called back 4 times and was transferred to ****** each time. I asked for a number to the District Manager, but they said they could not provide that information. I've had the housewarming scheduled for almost 1 month now, but I guess I will have to cancel since we have no ************ this point, I would have been better off ordering directly through Rent a Center. The customer service may have been better, and I probably would have my order by now.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

      Please choose a different option, I purchased a ring from Liori diamonds through Acimas website. As this vendor is on their website, and I was told the merchandise is owned by Acima by their agent *******, Acima put themselves in the position of renting me defective merchandise that they owned. I contacted the store to return, no response, I contacted Acima who finally agreed to take it back after I informed them I had it in writing from a jeweler that the ring was of extremely poor quality, and that the stones fell out as a result, not as a result of abuse or mishandling. Further, if repaired they would continue to fall out as the ring was of such poor quality. After agreeing to take the item back and advising they were going to send me a shipping label, they also said I would be responsible for one more 197 dollar payment as rent on the 15th ( I had already paid 197 and had the item for less than 3 weeks.) The customer service agent *******, was incredibly rude and not at all knowledgeable about legalities of defective merchandise. I have now hired an attorney more out of principle than anything. This is an awful experience. I had three leases prior with zero issues and always paid early. Maybe that is why as a customer I am not worthy of respect, they arent able to earn their 200% markup with me as I always paid within the 90 days. I had used this option when I did not want to have an inquiry on my credit but in the future, I will just go mainstream credit to purchase.This is a company that takes advantage of consumers that may not be able to go with mainstream credit, and it is appalling. That is the reason for my correspondence today. If I could attach photos of the merchandise I definitely would or a copy of the letter received from a reputable jeweler. Acima should ensure their customers are getting the same quality as anyone else if they are going to endorse their partner stores. Stay away, awful customer service and predatory behavior.

      If I could give 0 stars I would. This company preys on the poor, they do give people the 90 days to pay off on the original amount that was leased however once you go over the 90 days the purchase doubles. They honestly do not help at all, once you are past your 90 days you have no options and get to over pay them. Lucky them, they get to take a crazy about of money. You basically pay for your purchase twice. The Government needs to get involved.

      The biggest scam in the entire world. They should literally be shut down for fraud and have their business shut down. Their customer service is rude and in no way helpful. Theyre a company of scam artists

      Very unprofessional company I would recommend other people to never lease with ACIMA. They just want to steal your money adding extra fees and changing the leasing contract. They had me signed for a 3 month payment plan for something that costs 500 and when I checked my account they turned it to a 12 months payment plan ending at a cost of 890. When I called to make the final payment they said I still own 400 after I made 3 payments of $100 .

      Since I took a lease from Acima I have become ill from end ******************* ( kidney failure) . I called them to tell them I fell ill and am unable to work. I had purchases the disability insurance to pay off the loan but they are still attempting to collect from me . Today I had 2 men come to my house to collect. I can't believe they send 2 men to your house. I showed them proof that I'm a dialysis patient to prove what I am saying. They said they'll be back in a month if I dont pay . Wow beware they may come to your door.

      made a purchase on oct 17th and cancelled next day as they wanted me to pay more than$4 thousands for a $ 1,00 purchase. They took a fee of $74.00 and I never received the money back. Don't do it!

      TERRIBLE! I am a Military Vet who was scammed by Acima. My Gazebo cost $1239 on Wayfair and by leasing ACIMA expects me to pay double that price. Unbelievable!!!!I have paid 1100 and offered to pay the rest to equal to $1239 and was told NO!!!I could of easily paid $1239 if my payments were made to equal that amount. That's where they get customers and it's a shame. This company needs to go out of business ****!
