      I purchases furniture for $1412.35 and used the 90 day early purchase option with Acima. I was charged ****** plus ***** and ***** my first payment then 13 weeks my payments were ***** a week. So, my balance paid ******* I then received an email telling me I need to pay ****** for my early purchase option or keep paying the ***** a week for 6 months. I really don't understand why I still owed the ****** because to me I should have owed them *****. So I went on the app and paid the new amount they came up with ******. I don't understand why I'm having to pay almost ****** more since I made all my payments on time and within the 90 days.

      The retailer did not inform me that if I didn't pay within 90 days, the purchase amount would double. They assured me I had a year to pay the agreed-upon price with no additional charges. It turns out I only had 90 days to pay, and now I owe twice the agreed amount. When I contacted Acima to see if they could stick to the original agreement, they refused, stating that the 90-day deadline had passed. This feels like a complete scam, and I will not be using this company again.

      Loan Sharking minus the broken legs and arms. I bought a fridge it was 550 plus 80 dollars for delivery with taxes which came out to ******. I paid ***** for the initial payment for some reason they said I owed them ****** paid them off as fast as I could. not even a month's total rent paid ******. they even charged me a ***** fee for the final payment. buy any other way

      I signed a contract for an iPhone with this company. I appreciate how they have been helping me as I was out of work for a while and behind on my payments; however I have been working now for a few months and have spoken to quite a few different employees for this company in regards to setting up payment plans. The last person I spoke with informed me of a pay out plan and went over the amount that I would have to pay to be done with this company. Well, the amount that was given to come out has not, and only the original amount of $255 still tries to come out, which is not what was discussed. Prior to, I spoke with another agent and was supposed to have a set amount come out of my account every 2 weeks but nothing showed for that either. I just want to know what is going on

      purchased tires in feb. thinking i "charged" them but nooooo im being charged over double i contacted them as a rental they said can return them - rip off! why would pay 1800 for a "deal" on not so high-quality tires/??cant do 0 stars

      If I could give them a ************** rating, I definitely would. I thought that I was getting a loan, turns out they call it a 'Lease';learned that today. At any rate, I was approved for $4000. My purchase was $950 of which I had to pay off in 90 OR for 1 year, that would have been September 2025, I would have had to pay them $2,700.00. $2,700????? I took a real loan w/o interest, to pay them off by the 90th day. And then, when I asked if they reported to the credit agencies, they said no. However, when you first call in there is an option to press is you are delinquent and need to make arrangements. I asked them, what would have happened if I stopped making payments, they said send it to collections. Well, at that time wouldn't the collection agencies report it to the credit bureaus? Never ever, NEVER EVER again will I or refer anyone to these folks. Ridiculous!

      Acima is a joke!!! They are charging 3 times the amount of the actual purchase and you cant even return the item!! Im in the process of filing a lawsuit. Theres 1 going in ******** and *** be next. Do not use them they are the biggest rip off ever

      Thought I was applying for a 6 month no interest line of credit. Now my 6 months are up and what I thought was my balance of ******* is now as much as the beginning total of over $4000.I would give them negative stars if I could.This was not explained to me at the furniture store nor did I receive any paperwork on this from Acima. I had to find them on the internet and call THEM!!!!I had to ask for a manager because I couldn't understand the first rep who was nice but just couldn't understand him.

      This Company Acima is a joke they charge you 3x as much for your purchase bad customer service and when u speak to a supervisor they wont even give you there full name Mr.**** * this company is a complete rip off today 9/10/24 i have 2 charges and now i have to wait 3-10 busniess days before they can even help me because their system is down and its (not showing their end ) smh

      I started a lease with them paid $1000 then the merchant cancelled the items. I called and was told there was mother that could be done except to send a email and wait 5-10 days to hear back. I have used them for other products and never had a issue but after this experience I will never use them again
