Ordered a 75 in tv on July 19th 2024 it came in busted and looked like it was already returned once. I have been calling for three weeks to get it replaced I keep getting the run around saying my lease is having a it problem on getting the lease funded and wont do anything about it to just keep calling back.Acima

BEWARE.0 stars if i could. they will SCAM you out of your money. Don't fall for their lies.I paid the full amount and by the next week they charged me an extra fifty dollars. And then they will not let you speak to a higher up .********** from the draper *********** would not allow me to speak to anybody that could help me . He said he's the highest authority in the office While telling me he has a manager in the office that will not speak to me. SCAM. Use your money on Affirm.It has better service.Acima

Stay away! Id give it zero stars?REALLY READ THE LAST PAGES OF AGREEMENT! Click to read don't just check **** the box or you will be paying double what you borrowed if you do not payoff in 3 months.. It's not a loan it's called a lease agreement that has daily charges! Recommendation, avoid at all cost! Read lease you should be able to return product to whoever you purchased and get out of lease (time frame).Acima

Poorly trained customer service representatives, *****, multiple supervisors *******, ******** and **** plus more, with no managers available to help the customer or the employee. They are quoting incorrect payment amounts, not explaining their processing fees or understanding how their system works to be able to properly explain to customers to help the customer avoid penalties and co-works avoid upset customers. I simply asked ***** the amount owed for early pay off and she quoted me stating that the processing fee is apart of that amount. I asked ***** a couple of times the same question to gain understanding and she stated that the early payoff included the processing fee only to find out that was not the case. The processing fee was a separate fee from the early payoff amount. The two fees should have been added up to total my final amount. My account was not closed i had to pay additional monies which i understand because that was the original amount that should have been quoted anyway.The problem was that the information given was unclear. As the consumer I take the information from customer service and pay what is told. They need better training.Acima

Acima is absolutely HORRIBLE from what I have experienced! I made a purchase through Wayfair maybe towards the end of June and used Acima. Everything was totally fine (so I thought) UNTIL I returned the merchandise to Wayfairs third party shipping vendor came to my home at 8:00 in the morning on July 25th, 2024 to pick up the merchandise as I was returning it (I even received a receipt of return). I gave it a couple of days because I do understand that these businesses need time to communicate to one another on processing refunds, making sure the items gets for the warehouse etc. On July 27th I spoke to wayfair just to make sure that the items were scanned in and their logistics department was closed for the weekend however I was told that ACIMA was notified of the return and the refund had been sent. On Monday 7/29 I then received the email confirmation that the return was received and the refund was sent, although Wayfairs refund policy is 3-5 days. I called ACIMA on 7/29 just to confirm that they had received the cancellation/return request from Wayfair. I was informed by one of Acimas representatives that they did receive confirmation of the return. At that time I asked would he be able to see what the refund amount would be that I shall be expecting to receive as well as the adjustment credit amount through Acima. I was told that he wasnt able to tell me anything right now because the resolution department was still working on it. I then responded and said okay, I get that and I understand that but I have a payment coming up on Friday 8/2/24 and I dont want that payment to come out if I dont even have the merchandise. The Acima representative assured me that everything would be taken care of and he changed the due date for the payment to be taken out on 8/9/24. I called back on 8/1/24 and spoke to supervisor ***************************** and was advised that the resolution **** was not even notified to work on anything in regards to a refund or an adjustment.Acima

Don't do business with this company. They are taking money from us when the item was returned. They have done nothing but give us the run around to refund our money back. If you call, it's nothing but a run around and don't get any answers.Acima

I was upset and I was telling them why I want to deactivate my account after I pay off because of their outrageous payment plans. There is tax and more tax. Why do you offer small AUTO payment amounts if we need to pay off early. (I think thats how they get you in the end.)THEN they tack on 400 dollars after the due date. I settled to pay $500 in three weeks and I called back and see if I could make it for another week and that wouldve cost me extra $100 this company is confusing and money hungry and rude customer service on top of that.Acima

I have had numerous leases with this company. Those were all great. Afforded me the ability to make purchases and pay off within 90 days with no problems. My 6th lease was with them in March of this year. Bought a new living room set and paid it off within 45 days. Paid the amount that my receipt was from the store I made the purchase at. Fast forward 2 months I opt for another lease with them to update my bedroom set after moving. Have a set amount "cash price" from the retailer have the "cash price" from them. I've made 3 payments and it says tax amount included I'm like well yeah it's the sales tax. So I go to make another payment the final payment and it doesn't equal the "cash price". It's 200+ dollars more. In fact it's the sales tax rate of the "cash price" that already has sales tax included in it. So I call and they say we'll if you read you agreement it says taxes and fees included so I ask when did this start because I've never had this before and it's ridiculous if I'm paying it off in 90 days or less that I have to pay 200+ dollars more for it. The guy says we'll that's based on if you took 12 months to pay it off. Well I'm not I'm paying it off before the 90 days. So I get a "manager" I asked when did this start because I just finished a lease less than 60 days ago and paid it off in 45 days. The best answer I got was "the terms have been updates to fit our needs." So you're needs are met but I'm paying you another 200+ dollars for you to front my loan amount. And again this has never been done in the 7 years I've been doing business with them. They could've said hey you've been an outstanding customer of ours never been late, never missed a payment, never had a payment returned let's come to ************ and get you taken care of. So at this point I'll make my last full payment and wash my hands with them.Acima
