      The most dishonest unscrupulous company I have ever dealt with. They send third party vendor to sale ADT security systems. These people came into our home and lied to us and fraudulently sold the system promising lower internet rates with spectrum. Once we found out this was a lie they say it is too late to cancel the contract. We have tried everything to cancel to no avail. I cannot even give them one star. They know these practices are happening and do not even care. We are willing to let our credit take a hit on principle alone. I will not pay a dime to them or ADT.

      Hopefully people see this reviews before they sign up! The worst service ever. People coming to your door and signing you up for services you can't get out of without paying a thousand dollars. Who else does that? Hate them

      I received new services from this company on 8/5/23. I was initially informed the current equipment I had installed would be reactivated and there would be no cost other than the activation fee. When the Technician arrived he stated the equipment was old and the current system would not pick up. This equipment was only 5 years old. This was information that was not stated during the initial phone call. After installation the cost totaled ********. we decided to go ahead with the "updated" equipment as we already had a previous system installed and figured this would be easier. With this large unexpected amount we decided to finance through Synchrony. That following Monday, is when it started. I started receiving constant phone calls several times an hour that I needed to re sign the contract because it was off by **** cents! I received constant text messages that asked for my date of birth and other personal information. This seemed like fraud! I informed them I have already signed the contract and been financed. Anything further to communicate via email. Friday 8/18/23 someone from your company came uninvited and sat in their pick up truck outside my home for over an hour! On 9/1/23 your company attempted to fradulently deduct ******** (which is not the contract amount or the alleged 2 cents) from my debit card in which I did not authorize. Also, this amount that your company attempted fraud is not what was in the contract. Furthermore, the contract amount was paid in full through synchrony during instillation on 8/5. I received an email on Friday 9/1 that this account has been sent to collections. I responded to the email with my ADT contract with the correct amount and I also attached a statement from Synchrony that the amount of ******** has been financed and my due date is 9/25/23. Having your company install services was one of the absolute worst and most stressful decisions!!

      Hi ******, the financing through Synchrony did not go through because the amount was off by 2 cents. We want to make sure that our records and Synchrony's match exactly for these transactions and so all the calls to you have been made to just go over the terms and conditions and make sure we have the correct amount that you agreed to. The reason your credit card was charged is because the Synchrony paperwork cannot be submitted until an agent completes the Welcome Call with you, and because it was not submitted the system automatically ran the due balance on the card on file to obtain a zero balance on the account. 

      We have had a supervisor try calling you multiple times to go over everything but have been unable to get a hold of you. Please give us a acall at ************ so we can get this resolved.

      This is for Safe Street ********** I wish I could give zero stars. It makes no sense why it takes so long to give a refund. I fist asked for the service, then I changed my mind. I reported that I wanted my $100 back on Aug 12, they said it will take 7- 10 business days to see it back on my card. After a week, I called to check in, they said that it was not posted yet on their end. They have gotten to it yet! They said they will get to it on Monday. How long does it take you to return the money. Here it is on the 30th (still no refund) they told me that it was posted on Aug. 23rd and I have to wait **** more business days. WTF. I'm so ******. It took then 9 days from when I asked for a refund, to post it. That's BS Stay away from these scammers!! ?

      Hi ******, after looking into why the refund took as long as it did, I found that the charge was an ACH not a credit card. These take 10 days for the funds to settle with the bank and we are unable to issue a refund until the funds settle. This is a normal process for any charge that goes directly through a bank account and not through a credit card. Hope this information helps.

      SafeStreets installed my alarm system in my new home in March 2023 and did not use the correct wiring which caused my system to stop working draining the battery. ADT tech came out and I was charged $59.00 in which I shouldn't have to pay since they are installing ADT equipment with the wrong wiring. I requested the fee be returned to me and they said my warranty was up. And I can't be reimbursed. It's not my fault they put the wrong wiring in and it took 4 months before the battery drained from the wrong wiring to stop working. Also they promised $300 for referring friends I did and was only sent $150. False information given to customers.. They are a terrible company and when you call you can't even speak to a manager to clear up your problems.. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY sounds good in the beginning but is a nightmare.

      The wiring used for the system is standard and is the same for every security system we install. The issue more than likely was an issue with the outlet giving power to the panel. As far as the other $150 goes, we have reached out to the department who handles the referrals and will do everything we can to make sure you are given the full amount you were promised.

      Miscommunication at the start of this account resulted in a credit card I did not agree to. I made a complaint 2 months ago and received assurances that someone would call me. There has been no communication for two months.

      An agent had called and went over the terms of the line of credit through Synchrony on June 5th. Unfortunately you would be bound to this and a supervisor has spoken with you multiple times about the issue.       I am absolutely appalled that this company is still in business. A door to door SafeStreet salesman installed 1 camera, a doorbell camera, and the open door detectors (not sure what theyre called) with an alarm system in July of 2022. We told the salesman we were renting and wouldnt be here very long but he assured us that we could easily have the equipment moved over by them after 1 year which worked out for us since we knew we would be in our rental at least another year. Well lo and behold, we bought a house and are now moving and when we called SafeStreet, they told us to call ADT. We called ADT and they said we are in a 36 month contract and will have to pay $150 for an all new system in the new house AND we have to get SafeStreet out here to uninstall the current system which is most likely cost money too. We would be fine paying a fee to move the stuff over but we are not fine paying for an all new system AND paying to get the old system removed. We were blatantly LIED to. Your salesmen are LIARS and are SHADY, SafeStreet.DO NOT PURCHASE A SINGLE THING FROM SAFESTREET PEOPLE.

      Just bought a new home and Street Safe was in charge of the alarm system.They tried to sell the complete ADT system to us but we explained that the house was already wired to just connect the alarm.The technician was awful, was condescending, patronizing and rude.We was obviously not happy with his work, he just connected the first floor and when asked to connect the door on the second floor he said they just told me to do this floor, if you dont like it I can leve right know, I dont careHe finished and left.Horrible customer service with lots of entitlement and attitude.Never again I will call them for anything.

      I had a truly appalling experience with SafeStreets recently, and I feel compelled to share my story to save others from the headache and frustration I endured. I scheduled an appointment for an ADT security camera installation between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM on 8/15. Little did I know that this would turn into an utter nightmare.Not only did the technician fail to show up within the agreed-upon time window, but the customer service representatives I contacted throughout the day were either shockingly uninformed or outright dishonest. Each time I called for an update, I was fed excuses about the technician running late and was advised to wait until 4:00 PM. As it turns out, my appointment hadn't even been scheduled due to a "system error." It's clear that SafeStreets has serious communication and organizational issues within its own ranks.I wasted precious hours of my day waiting at my new, unfurnished home, only to be told that I needed to reschedule the appointment. The blatant disregard for my time and the complete lack of accountability from SafeStreets are absolutely infuriating.This incident has made me seriously question SafeStreets' competence as a service provider. The level of unreliability and unprofessionalism I encountered is simply inexcusable. I strongly urge anyone considering their services to think twice before entrusting SafeStreets with their security needs.My hope is that by sharing my terrible experience, others can avoid falling into the same trap. This kind of unprofessional behavior should not be tolerated, and as customers, we deserve better. SafeStreets, take this as an opportunity to address your internal issues and make significant improvements to your customer service and appointment management processes. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend SafeStreets to anyone.

      Bait n switch worse company ever will not get a dime from me. ********* the information to the attorney General of ** to show the terrible business practices. Explicitly asked if it would reduce whole bill or only the internet was told whole bill. Nothing has been reduced and they are saying just internet now. Run from this company
