We assist with the installation process and any repairs needed during the 90-day warranty, but ADT is the monitoring your system the entire time and handles your account after ******* from installation. As an ADT **** ************************** does very well training reps. I see a lot of 1 star reviews, and that isnt the way we as reps for the highest rated company in the country should be behaving. We are all trained to be honest with the customer, even if we are rookies and its our first season. Thank you for providing such in depth training!Safe Streets USA, LLC

1 starWe recently rented a house in ******* for a few months, and a SafeStreets (ADT provider) salesman came to our door. Despite informing him that we were in a temporary rental and had no plans to use a home security system in the future, he assured us it was no problem. He pushed us to sign up, claiming we could transfer or cancel the system anytime. Now that we're moving, they refuse to let us cancel, suddenly stating were locked into a 3-year contract.This company is deceptive and unethical. We made it abundantly clear that we would be moving within a few months, yet they misled us into a long-term commitment. The customer service has been terrible, making little to no effort to resolve this issue. Now, we're stuck paying thousands of dollars for a service we won't be using. I highly recommend staying far away from this company to avoid similar issues.Review fromChris V

A couple days ago a salesperson came to the house saying he was with ADT security and after us telling him we already had a system he pushed and kept on and kept on and convinced us to get his system. He never said that he was with safe streets. Though it said that on his shirt I thought that was just some slogan or something. That was July 3rd. After thinking about it a day or so we decided to cancel. Had to jump through hoops to even get someone on the phone to find out that I wasnt allowed to cancel. Was told that I had 3 business days to cancel and they claim that Saturday is a business day. I called on July 9th which shouldve been the third business day and my letter of cancellation was sent off in the mail on the 8th. It has been trouble ever since we unfortunately purchased this system. I deeply regret ever opening my door and letting them talk me into buying this. Now after only a couple days of having it and some loophole technicality that they found, to cancel the system I would have to pay $1800. RidiculousSafe Streets USA, LLC

I was told by the company that I have to have a permit in case the company needed to contact dispatch if there were a false alarm otherwise I would be fined ****** by the police department. What gives them the right to provide misinformation and even put that in the contract when they don't know what rules and regulations in each city. I was on the line for hours speaking to 3 different reps the other day and even had one speak to an ofiicer just to prove that I don't have to have a permit. I have been back and forth on this since last week and not one rep listened to me! That is why I had them speak directly to a dispatch officer to prove I wasn't making it up! Second of all, I wish I could get out my contract that I just signed b/c the door to door sales rep did not have a permit to go in my area selling your services and yes I am reporting him! I feel like I have been misled just so he could make his "quota." It makes me sick how people are taken advantage of!!!Safe Streets USA, LLC

From the contract it states that "certain government agencies require..." meaning that a permit could or could not be required. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused, but are happy to inform you that you will not need any permitting for the system. I wish I can give negative. I am dealing with cameras that dont work. I only had service for 3 weeks and cameras went out! I left the company and am fighting not to pay it but they are trying force me to pay. for me to pay for being lied to. I never knew I was getting battery operated cameras. Run! This company preys on senior citizens and make lies offering discounts. A Safe Streets person knocked on my older parent's house and misled them into signing a 2-year contract with ADT that they didn't need under the guise that they would get a discount on their *********** bill. After finding out my parent's agreed to this "deal" I called ADT and tried to cancel the service, but was told that the contract would have to paid upfront to cancel (about $1000).I called Safe Streets number that was on this "contract" and it was just a message machine. I found Safe Streets corporate number and they told me to call this company Alpha which they sub-contract to. 6-months later and numerous calls to Safe Streets, Alpha, ADT and Spectrum and still no discounted price on TV bill, yet my parents still have to pay $45/mo for ADT.DO NOT sign anything with Safe Streets. THEY ARE A SCAM COMPANY that misleads consumers and you'l be stuck paying out $$$ for services you don't need!!!!!Safe Streets USA, LLC

1 starSafe Streets does not honor their contracts. I signed up for the ATT/DirectTV/*** deal. My monthly charges of $145 would remain the same but the ATT/DirectTV charges would be discounted by the *** amount and I would be charged an *** monthy charge but the total would be the same. Not so, I am being charged the full ATT/DirectTV amount that I have paid for years but now I have an additional $63.99 monthly charge for ***. My contract notes the total and breaks out the *** and Telecom prices. The Safe Streets 800 number occasionally gets answered by ***** but I have yet to receive a return call from a manager. I waited the 1-2 months they told me it would take to process the paperwork but it has been months!Review fromAmanda E

This company is a bunch of crooks and they all lie . I have submitted information in regards that this was closed within the timeframe they claimed was given (was not given) once I sent the information they are still saying that this is not sufficient enough even though no information was given to me upon the initial visit to my home from a teenager doing door to door sales. He said I would receive the info immediately but nothing was given to me another reason I reached out .(NEXT DAY) to the sales rep cause I was NOT GIVEN ANY INFORMATION IN REGARDS TO THIS PRODUCT . Whom lied about and what the product does and its properties a day after I asked for someone to come help us show what they claimed it did an you know what happened no one showed so I called ADT cause thats who I thought this was through yet ADT stated this was not the case an gave me this companies number . However ADT. Was very nice an cancelled the service immediately as this was something they didnt stand on but when I called this company they want to talk about charging me arguing with me about what was an wasnt done . Its ************** hate how they do business . I dont see them trying to work this out with the facts giving an Im tired of time passing because I dont want to pay for something I dont want an it dont work as promised . Ive called several times the first call I made when I finally got a hold of someone the man was very nice and stated that it was no problem to cancel that someone would call me next business day to set up a time to retrieve the all of the product an is properties . However never received a call. So I reached back out again to see what was going on. Then this is when I received a different story . Asking me to pay for the product asking me to show proof it was cancelled . They do a shady business an I hope people read this before doing business with them now or in the futureSafe Streets USA, LLC

Hi ******, after reviewing the information, it seems we just need something that tells us that you had tried to cancel within the 3 day allowed period. The *** cancellation note was made on April 26th which is past the 3 day cancellation window so we would need some sort of proof showing that the customer made an effort to cancel inside of those 3 days.
