1 starThey came to my door under claiming to be with my internet provider working on the fiber in the area promising to give credit back for outage inconveniences, after talking I received a credit check email with a scribble signature, I asked them who they were working for they said it wasnt the internet provider but they were contracted with them to give a discount. So they lied to get in the door. I told them I didnt want their service and the girl got offended I told her I have a security system and it works fine she told me thats what people say until they get their home broken into and asked if I watch crime shows and sees what happens to those people, who says stuff like that? Such a bad experience if these people were upfront from the beginning this would have went a lot smoother.Review fromvictoria r

Installed an ADT system in my house, screen has gone blank 2 times, 2nd installer stated the first installer installed it wrong. First installer installed the wrong equipment, not what I ordered, and all the time trying to sell me more expensive equipment. My screen has gone dark again and they told me I will be charged a service fee for them to come out and fix it....I was also told can cancel in 90 days, WRONG!!!!, YOU ARE TIED TO A CONTRACT THAT CHARGES AN ARM AND A LEG TO CANCEL!!!!THEY SHOULD NOT ALLOW THIS!!!!POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES, ON TOP OF THAT, CUSTOMER SERVICE SACKS!!!!

We are sorry to hear that.It looks like some of the problem came from the confusion between who was supposed to get your equipment fixed. After 3 months of installation, ADT would be the ones who sent technicians to service any equipment. That would have been back in January when those 3 months had passed. Person came to my house to offer to lower my spectrum bill. I did not know he was from Safe Streets, I thought he was from spectrum. He was not authorize to come in my house by me. He rush me to initial on his form. I did not get a chance to read it. I was tired from no sleep. He said I can cancel 30 days. They have my spectrum information which I already report to them. I tried to cancel and there is a $1000+ fee to cancel. He told me that I have 2 year contract.Thanks for giving me more problems!!!!Safe Streets USA, LLC

1 starSafeStreets replaced all of the smoke detectors in new construction with wireless smoke detectors. Due to other issues, an *** tech was out and informed me that the hard-wired smoke detectors should have never been renewed. The *** wireless smoke detectors were to be used as a supplement to the hard-wired smoke detectors; not a replacement for the hard-wired smoke detectors.Basically, I paid for unnecessary equipment and have to replace all of the smoke detectors that were removed, costing me more time and expense.Beware of Safe Streets pushing unnecessary equipment to **** up the price.Review fromAli T

1 starThe Agent told me my home would be a Model home for my block an was eligible for Multiple discounts. Well to my surprise, the amount was double and I didn't even get all the accessories that was presented in the flat out lie sales pitch. Their tech came to my house and said i would have to be extorted out right for ************** extras. I told him no. So I called **************** and what a waste of time they only wanted their money for cancelling. So we at a stand still.Review fromKathy W

1 starI signed up for the services with no issues in August of 2023. I wanted to pay the install and equipment in full without taking out a loan from " Safe Streets". I was told I had to take the loan then I could pay it off within 24 hours. I was aware the promotional " free equipment and install was a scam but I had already looked into *** for home security system. In January ****, I started receiving emails I had a balance due of $174.60 on my account from the *** collections agency. I called the number to tell them the balance was paid off via the loan also my monthly service charge is on auto pay. I was informed the *** salesmen did not add tax to the original loan. Without warning, I was sent to *** collection agency for the amount of the taxes added within the contract at the time I signed. I requested a detailed letter in the mail with the explanation of charges. I feel this is unprofessional and illegal to not resolve the issue of their mistake with the customer before sending to collections.Review fromGeraldine M

1 starSafestreetsUSA is a scam . Said they could bundle my direct TV withADT and they lied . All they have done is cost me more money. 1 starThis company has lied, and continues to lie. I call ADT and while they have my information and charge my account. They have no authority to cancel my account. I feel like both companies are at fault since they work closely together. I feel scammed, this is a scam. I want to warn fellow families from doing business with this company. Safe Streets USA, LLC misrepresenting what you intend to do or what you are currently capable of doing. Which is fraud. I was told by the salesman and people working on behalf of Safe Streets they could lower my Spectrum internet bill to $22 a month. What they were actually trying to do is use government assistance programs for the poor to lower the bill. Which is fraud.Review fromBrannon B

1 starSafe street is a scam along with ADT please stay away from this bunch. They have sent us a bill from 2 years ago stating we owe $1,700 we have proof it was paid but are now dealing with a collections company. Everytime we call ADT or safe street they will hang up. I was assured I could cancel within 3 days and I immediately called to cancel and I have not been successful in reaching anyone within the company to successfully terminated the account.
