      I have solar panels on my roof sold to me by Lumio. There is a 10 year warranty on the panels and one of my panels is not functioning. I have reached out to lumio several times but have gotten no response whatsoever. With my panel not working, I am not producing the power I should be and I’ll result in costing my money to supplement the non functioning panel. Again, I have reached out several times but have gotten no response.

      I reported to Lumio Solar company back in August that my solar panels were not working and it is now November and they still haven’t fixed them. Meanwhile I am stuck paying the lease on them along with paying Pg&e for all of my electricity.
      Every time I call they tell me they are trying to find someone in my area who can come fix them and then I never hear back from them again. And according to their reviews there are tons of other people in the same situation. They filed for bankruptcy back in Sept but what are their customers supposed to do to break our contracts and move to a new company?

      Multiple attempts made to get repairs on solar panels. No communication has been forth coming from Lumio. Terrible customer service. Panels are not working. I was told the company would pay my electric bill of the panels were not working. I attempted to get this service during 6 months the panels were pending service and then no help now.

      I have called numerous times and left messages to be called back. I need the Building Code Inspection with the permit number and the date of passing in order to receive my rebate from the State of New Mexico. At some point I will need them to remove the panels for a roof replacement, but not now. But if I can't get them to even call me, that will be a problem to schedule.

      The solar panels were supposed to reduce my monthly bill, banking extra credits in the summer months to offset less solar in the winter. In NO month have we banked credits. I have been emailing and calling for several months now and the supervisor won't call me back. She did email me and ask for 3 months of bills, that was over a month ago, and I provided 13 months to show that for an entire year we have not been getting what we were promised. She said it is working the way THEY expected it to but also said they can't find the records of how they came to that assessment. I pay more per month to have the solar panels than they save me, by double, and this was sold to me as something that would not only pay for itself but it would save me money. This has been going on since June and I still have never received even one call back from them. Rarely do I even get an email reply.

      On 11/29/2021 signed installation agreement for $57,974.54 for solar panels on my home at **** ******* ***, Colorado City, TX 79512. In May, 2024, I was advised by an email from Enphase monitoring service that my solar production had decreased substantially. I called for service, and after troubleshooting with a telephone technical representative, production increased slightly.

      In August, 2024, the solar production dropped to zero, and I called again for service. After a few weeks, a technician was finally dispatched. He diagnosed the problem and stated he felt the problem stemmed from faulty initial installation. However, he said he was ordering parts and would return in one week to complete the repairs.

      That was six or seven weeks ago and I have called on several occasions only to be advised a service order was open and would get to it when they could.

      We were advised the system we were purchasing would result in a buy-back from our electrical provider that would reduce our net charge to almost zero. With our ongoing problem it has been our buy-back credit that has almost been zero total for the last six months.

      If they won't or can't repair the system I feel they owe me a refund and shouldn't be allowed to sell to other unsuspecting individuals.

      June 17 2024 We were approached by a Lumio sales representative at our home about installing solar panels. We agreed to a contract. We were told it was a three month process to have everything completed. The problem began after the panels were installed and with the electrical began. We were told our electrical would be upgraded and we would get a new box. We had just recently had our electrical upgraded with a new box and our house was running on on 200 amps with our central a/c on its own breaker and our dryer on its own breaker. What we got from Lumio was our whole house running on 125 amps. Our lights dim now when I use my hair blow dryer when the a/c is running. We tried to have the issue resolved through our original point of contact who said he was not able to help. He told me to try customer service, I did several times and never received a call back. Today 11/1/2024 when I place a call I receive a message saying that they are unavailable at this time. Our original contact says “Yes our operations side of everything is being taken over so it's put a damper on things getting done unfortunately”. We were told to fix this ourselves which we will because we feel it is not safe. We would like to be reimbursed for our expenses. We now have solar panels and boxes all over our house that are still not even hooked up and may never be. We can’t get answers. Since the electrician has not completed the work yet, we don’t know what it Wii be.

      They sold us solar that stopped working after 6 months. They will make it hard for someone to come out and fix it and it will work and then stop working again

      Two years ago I hired Smart Energy Today to install solar panels on my roof. On 10/04/2024 my roof developed a leak directly under the middle of the solar panel array. There is a ten year warranty on their labor. I contacted the company, now responding as Lumio, to fix the problem. They asked me to fill out a claim form and send pictures. I did so on 10/07/2024. They did not respond. I attempted to contact them. Their phone number in ******* is constantly busy. On 10/15/24, I participated in a group chat with Lumio at ************ and they provided me with a case number (********). My insurance company reached out to them on 10/21/24 and told me to wait for a response from them. As of noon today (10/30) I have had no response from them. I need to get the leak taken care of. It appears that they have no intent of honoring their warranty. Request assistance. Thank you.

      I entered into contract shortly after purchasing my home in 07/2022, towards the end of the year. The system has had multiple issues this year. It has caused a surge in my wiring, the system was completely out of service from 04/16/2024 to 08/16/2024, and now the system has gradually stopped working since 10/07/2024 to today, where 80% of the panels are not working. Getting anyone from Lumio has been nearly impossible. And now contacting customer service during business hours is as well. Every number for the company I call, I get an automated answer asking me to leave a message. I have been paying for a system that was supposed to replace my electric bill but instead I have been paying a loan for a system that doesn't work and paying for electricity from the utility company, essentially doubling my monthly electric bill. Please cancel my contract/loan and take your equipment back.
