These are the worst people on the planet. They came into my home and promised me the world and delivered nothing, repeatedly. They promised if I financed dollar panels with them my energy bill would disappear. Never happened. For over a year I've been paying two $200 bills. One to them and one to Duke. I told my sales rep ******* and he said they'd fix it. It's been a year. I lodged and BBB complaint and then they called me asking to remove the complaint because they'll fix it. They never fixed it. This is the worst company on the planet. They are swindlers. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. They are just going to take your money and run.Lumio

Worst customer service of any company Ive ever dealt with. When solar panels were installed, they left out a component which failed the inspection. I needed to come back and reinstalled the component to pass the inspection, which took an extra two months I begin, paying for electricity through Duke and the solar panels so I asked for a reimbursement for two months, Ive been waiting six months and reimbursements have been approved but still no money every time I call Im told something new the first time I was told 30 to 60 days then I was told one to three months then I was told 3 to 6 months and now Im being told theres no timetable for your reimbursement on top of that my solar is not performing at the level it is supposed to be and my bill is not being offset yesterday Lumio salesman wandered into my yard and tried to sell me more solar. Unfortunately for that gentleman, I freaked out on him and told him the story of everything that has been going on , he told me theyve installed thousands of these and they cant make everyone happy that being said he was going to try to get someone to help me. *** been told numerous times a manager or supervisor will be returning my call only to have nobody call me back have called over 30 times over the last six months.Lumio

Got are solar panels back in July. Very nice guy did are contract and helped us get set up. He told us we would have the $200 bill to Goodleap a month and are electric bill shouldn't be anymore than $30 a month. We had a $150 bill and I was like ok , but they have continued to go up. This bill I just got was $453. I called Hilco and they said of course its right> So I'm paying $653 this month. Really they are useless if my bill is just as high as it was without them. Very disappointed because I thought it was going to help us save money.Lumio

I wouldn't have thought I would be receptive to someone knocking at my door trying to sell me solar, because I have spoken with numerous reps and they all wanted to sell me a huge array. Lumio's **** *************************** listened to me and offered me a product which piqued my interest. I also interviewed a competitor and came to the conclusion Lumio was the right company for me.Lumio

Lumio is the worst and has the worst customer service. Installed in July 2023 the finance company paid them in August I believe. As of 2/5/24 I'm still not operational. No communication. Has a notary contact me in December to redo the permit for company name change, I do it after calling to make sure its legit. January comes and I get another notary calling saying I need to sign the permit paper, i asked Lumio like 3 times and no one said anything finally got on the phone and they said yes do it, contacted the notary and the request had been closed so she couldn't. November I was told by lumio I would be reimbursed since I'm paying power bill and solar payment and as of 2/5/24 nothing has been paid and I'm fixing to make my 8th payment. I call and get told they are getting it escalated and you never hear a thing. Im currently researching construction lawyers. My account manager has been on maternity leave since beginning of December and her auto reply was she would be back 1/9/24 and as of today (2/5/24) she tells me shes still out. Im in *******Lumio

Terrible company overall. They installed solar panels on my home but failed to get it inspected for almost eight months. During that time, before inspection and activation, they were supposed to pay my monthly payment until they had it inspected and up and generating electricity. They paid me for two months and then stopped paying. They still owe me for six months of payments and have not been cooperative when I called to ask about it. I believe that is a breach of contract. The design of the system is inadequate to supply enough power to run my home and it now costs me more than before I had the system. Im considering hiring a lawyer to help me sort this out.Lumio

Lumio has been a headache since day one. We entertained solar energy for two reasons. Reduce our carbon footprint and have a consistent bill cycle based on our energy consumption. There were 5 visitors to the home between door to door representative to sales to inspectors to installation. The sales person gave misinformation. I am currently paying double what I was originally told I would be paying. Installation said it would take three days to install. It took three weeks. There was trash left on our property each visit and we have leaks in our roof. It took an additional three weeks for a contractor to come out to fix it. Still waiting on our ceiling to get fixed from water damage. The contractor took photos of the roof and it was obvious the installers tried to cover up the leaks with different color shingles. We have been calling every week with complaints and no one is helping us. We have plenty of photos, documented every time we call, and now have an energy that is double what was promised. Next step is legal action. I want these panels gone, roof fixed, and this nightmare behind us. This company gives a false hope to a solar energy future. Do NOT go with Lumio!!!!Lumio
