      We bought two systems from LUMIO. Hopefully (fingers crossed) enough to cover our electric **** Our experience so far has been a disappointment at best. We were initially shopping for new windows. LUMIO salesman ** promised he could set us up with all the solar we needed AND new windows. He ghosted us after the sale. We got only HALF the solar we needed AND we didnt get windows as promised. ***** complained - LUMIO was apologetic. They claimed the salesman was a bad egg and gave us a rebate to use towards windows. The rebate didn't come close to covering the cost of windows. 'To make things right they sent Salesman C to us to talk about getting ANOTHER system to take care of the rest of our needs. We were still hurt from Js treatment and reluctant to buy. C. got his manager, R involved. Together they promised to give us another rebate of $2,000 for our troubles along with another system to cover our needs. Not wanting to deal with the inconvenience of splitting our solar between two different companies; and feeling good about the new salesman and LUMIOs promises, we bought another system. On the install of the second system, the installer was completely lost. He didnt know where the meter was, didnt know where the circuit panel was. They dug a trench 50 feet in the wrong direction. I had to stop them from digging before they hit our septic system lines. He forgot equipment and supplies. The electric company didnt inspect the system until the *** BEFORE my first loan payment on the second system was due. Not sure whose fault that is, but Im guessing LUMIO dropped the ball somewhere.I still have no idea if the 2nd system is up and running. Its been WEEKS and my Enphase app doesn't show the 2nd system at all.They used the old fashioned bait and switch on us. They made empty promises and got us to buy from them. Im only praying that the post install customer service is better than the salesmen and installers.

      They will come knock on your door at 8pm. when you tell them no you don't want solar, they will be rude for.bot buying their solar.

      We recently upgraded our home to Solar. Lumio was our company of choice, they were outstanding to work with. Our sales rep *** was very informative, and a real pleasure to have in our home as we worked through all of our questions. The process was easy to get scheduled, and they kept us updated on the progress. The workers that came out to the house to install the panels and the new electrical panel inside the house, were very polite and talked it over as to what they were doing in a way we could understand. They answered all of our questions, and just made us feel very comfortable with what all the changes were. We will recommend Lumio to all of our neighbors and friends. We look forward to being part of the Solar Family!

      It's been over a YEAR and our solar system has not been set up and running. It has failed inspections numerous times. We've been lied to every step of the way. I remember when we first were talking to our account manager that the turn around time for issues was 72 hours. Every few months it changed to one week and lately they have said it can take up to five weeks to resolve issues. A few months ago after the first failed inspection from the city and/or AEP the customer support agent told us to go ahead and switch over to the solar plan with our electric provider as they knew what the fix was to pass the inspection. Since the solar system is still down, a year later, our electric bill has DOUBLED because the solar plan charges more per kWh. On top of pay for our loan with the solar system we are paying around $900 a month in electricity up front. Reimbursements have taken over a month. People can't survive with that much money being taken/held from them. This is straight up a scam. I call almost every day and still there is never any progress. We are definitely going to be sharing our experience at every HOA meeting.

      I bought into this scam in 2020. Dallen was our consultant and man did he lie to us…I should have known they were rotten when it took almost a full year to have the panels up and working. Then come to find out they don’t even support my home. The purpose of this purchase was to replace Duke, but now I’m paying Duke and for the panels…$400-600 a month. How do we protect ourselves from scams like this?

      Lumio came by my house saying they were sitting with some of my neighbors for a solar consultation. *** never wanted solar but after sitting and learning about it, I didnt see any reason not to do it. Now I have had it for a few months and I am loving it. If I could do it all over again, I would.

      just Friday evening I had a scheduler come knock on my door , what he told me oh fpl had sent him out to schedule a removal of my electric box . my reply that's so strange that fpl normally notify us via mail . I called fpl customer service they looked up my address said no ??they didn't send any one to my address. I replied to them thank you , you all finished upgrading our meter the customer service told ask me do I feel safe my reply yes I do because he's gone to another home he's just down my street . I almost called the police on him because he stood there and told a hold faced lie
