If I could leave zero stars, I would. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have been waiting for this solar installation for 8 months now and the company seems to be more lost every time I talk to them. The customer service is horrendous. Every time I call with questions, the project manager tells me she will circle back with me and she never does unless Im persistent about calling. She gave me her direct line that goes straight to voicemail every time I call. They incorrectly thought that my electrical panel could withstand the solar panels. They had to replace it and want me to pay. They also told me I needed to get 2 loans in order for me to finish the project, but they forgot about the second loan apparently in some transition and it caused the lenders loan to expire. In which now I have to resign loan papers. In a few days, I am going to start paying for solar panels that havent even been installed. I have nothing to show my accountant for this supposed tax credit and have been waiting for paperwork in order to finish my taxes for this year. They promised me certain panels but now need to change to a different panel which require more because apparently the first panel is not being supplied. They contracted a certain roofing company to replace my roof to hold the solar panels- then they switched to another company. The second company didnt replace my skylights with the correct skylights per code and the company had the audacity to come ask me if they could come and close my skylights so that it can pass inspection and then come back and reopen the skylights. They also took down my water heater panels so that they could make space for the solar panels and promised me a hybrid water heater which I have yet to get and now the hot water at my house is limited. To be honest the list of all the wrong things this company has done could go on and on. Dont be fooled and go with someone else.Lumio

The salesman was great. After documents were signed, updates were not given unless I called. I signed in May 2022, was told it would take around 2 months, panels were not installed until January 2023, and active to use about 3 weeks after. I wasnt even notified that the panels were active. I called them and they said they had been active for 1 week. If I did not call for updates then I would not hear anything. I have never had any roof problems, and now I see yellow spots on my ceiling from water damage from the recent rain on the areas below the panels. Ive been calling for 2 weeks, no one has come. I was told today they are waiting for their roofing people to respond to them, I asked for an approximate date of when someone will come, and I was told they cannot make the roofing people respond so they do not know. 80% of the people I speak to are condescending. I do not ever recommend Lumio to any of my friends and family who have been getting solar panels. I tell them to stay away from Lumio. Ive had a horrible experience.Lumio

We signed a contract in August 2022. As I write this its March 15th 2023. We still do not have a working solar system, but their finance company has made sure to charge us for it. Now making payments for both electricity and a non existent solar system. Did I mention its been 8 months. I would do business with them again if you paid me.Lumio

My wife and I are existing *** solar customers that somehow found our way here. We invested $60k into a system that was supposed to generate over ****kwh per month and was installed around August 2020. My systems production this last year per energy bills - January 175 kwh, February 297 kwh, March 419 kwh, April 805 kwh, May **** kwh, June 931 kwh, July **** kwh, August **** kwh, September **** kwh, October 924 kwh, November 346 kwh, and December 203 kwh. Our system power requirements have been adjusted but the above numbers are abysmal for the investment. We have been waiting on more panels now for a few years and Lumio has kept us abreast as to the panel shortage. Now we are paying on a solar loan and heavy electric bills during the winter and we have been running the house frugally. AKE was at least reimbursing us for our energy bills but I cant reach anyone here about this. This is very hard on my wife and I as I am a disabled veteran living on a fixed income. I have made many attempts at trying to have somebody call me through email and two attempts at calling customer service to have somebody call me and am still waiting. I would appreciate a phone call and some help reimbursing the bills that I have already submitted. Thank youLumio

If i could give it a zero star i would.. We have our solar panels installed and they do not work. This has been 6 months. And they take zero accountability. We have been in contact with several people there and it takes days for them to call you back, Or you have to call back and get with someone else and they have zero clue on how to fix the problem. They blamed it on the electric company, According to the *** agreement they are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the system. Which is not true. All I need them to do is fix it. Why will they not fix it? Why is it someone else's fault? From a another company they said the account is not set up right.. Ok so fix it. Was it fixed nope. An auditor check the account said it was shading.. completely incorrect. There is no way someone has given his company a 5 star rating. And after this review they'll PASS it along to their members of their team. Why it wont be fixed.. How hard is it to send someone out? Do i need to contact a lawyer regarding their breach agreement?Lumio

Our entire experience with Lumio has been great! Professional, courteous, knowledgeable people. With has been done within the initial timeframe. The final work (s far as I know) is up to our electric company. Weve been given a 2 week window for the electric company to get the last bit done and our dollar should be up and running shortly! So far so good!Lumio

This is now my 2nd review with this horrible company. When I first signed up they promised me that by 2nd month on PTO that my electric bill be about $10 per month since I live in an area that the electric company charges for customers that has solar. That sounds fine to me since I rather pay $10 per month than $500 plus. Not only did they lied about the $10 per month moving forward, it actually $20 per month that my electric company charges for solar. I finally called them in middle of February 2023 to ask if my systems was set up right since I am still paying a lot on my electric bill and have a solar bill as well. This was not saving me any money since the cost of both bills still is more than if I didn't sign up for solar at all. The customer service person said that they were going to audit my account to make sure my system is up and running. After 2 weeks I had to call them back for an update. They finally gave me a person's name that they will audit my account. She wrote on March 9th just to say that my system is producing as promised and I do not qualify for any reimbursement at this time. First, I do not want any reimbursement. I just want to pay what was promised when they set up my solar panel which was to pay $10 a month for my electric bill and my solar loan. I kept asking her why ***************** and I am having to pay for both bills? She than suggest a ******* program (funny this is how can a electric company ******* when you are still getting a high electric bill) but I informed her that my electric company does not do buypacks. She than suggest that I go and purchase a battery of $13K to help minimal my electric bill! That is VERY crazy to me. The whole point of me spending 60K on my solar is to have one solar loan bill not to put in another $13K for a battery that might not even cut down my electric bill. If I can I would cancel my solar and not have to deal with this company EVER!! This is such a scam company.Lumio

Hi ******, thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately there is nothing that we can do as your system is producing according to the contract that you signed. We have attempted to offer alternative options for you and would be happy to help you further explore those if you'd like. Savings are most often associated with being on a buyback program, and we have no control over the buyback programs offered by utility companies.
