      Was lied to on the amount I would get back as refund on my taxes. I had no tax liability so I shouldve gotten back between ****** to ******. This amount I would pay towards the loan for the panels.

      DO NOT BUY SOLAR FROM THESE GUYS. They sold us a bill of lies talking up the savings and benefits of going Solar. First, since we have had the panels installed, we have never had a $0 or negative electric bill. The whole idea of getting a credit with your electric company is a lie too. Electric companys have figured out that *******, and now give you credit, but not payable. It just gives you the credit, and should you ever leave/move, you lose the credit. Second, the loan being transferable to a new owner should you move. Pinocchios nose was shorter. Reality, nobody is going to want to take on a previous owners voluntary debt on top of the new mortgage they are getting. Especially these days with the interest rates so ***********, they are way over priced on their equipment. I have found other Solar companies at almost 1/2 the cost as Lumio. Last but not least, Fourth. Given the circumstances above, if you do not plan on living in your house for ***** years, it is NOT an investment. If the market value of my house is $300,000, I cannot add the solar panels on to the value. It will never get you more money. Appraisal on our house only gave us $5,000 in value for panels that we are spending almost $90,000 for. Now we have to payoff the solar lien on our house, just to sell it. We are literally losing the entire equity on our house, nothing to use toward buying a new home. We are going to end up renting a house now, and losing the American dream of owning property.

      We have had solar panels on our roof for well over a year and panels still have not been activated. Oh but God for bid that you miss a payment and mind you that this entire time we are having to pay two electric bills. One to our actual electric company and to Lumio. This is by far the worst decision I have ever made. There is absolutely no urgency with these people, they can't even send an email that I should have received a year ago and the emails I have received to sign either did not have my correct address or was addressed to someone else. I am retired but if not for my VA monthly checks along with my SS checks I would not be able to afford keeping my lights on and food on the table. I have also had to hire an attorney just to get their attention and they were served almost a month ago and still nothing.

      The guy who came out to do my final connection was very professional and answered all of my questions. He was unable to do a software check due to it began to rain. Not his fault. It was a pleasure dealing with him.

      At first it was great. Our sales guy connected ** with ******* who would be handling everything from then on. Initially he was very informative and answered all of our questions. But as soon as we signed the contract it became harder and harder to get a response from him. Now it's been over a month and absolutely no response from him. We just received a bill from our previous electric provider when we should've been off of their plans for over a month now. Not to mention the obsurd amount of time it took to have the solar panels installed. We still have quite a few questions bit no one to answer them. Customer service can't help me and I have no way to contact a regional manager or corporate office. Beyond upset with this companies lack of customer service. Would not recommend whatsoever. Plenty of other solar companies that can provide the same price with better service.

      Lumio apparently bought Smart Energy Today, who were the original installers of our system, in Jan 2018. I have had a couple of issues with modules/ panel go dead since. Smart Energy were easy to get a hold of and responded quickly. Lumio cant even find our information. Their support, if you can even get ahold of them, know little and offer little to move forward to repair/replace my panels that have been down for weeks now. We live in ********* and I don't think they have installers up here. Either way, they have yet to respond in any positive way to multiple calls. Even after stating they would get a "repair order started"....Lumio...get it together! You need an email option for support or a "ticketing" system to manage incoming requests etc. Leaving a voicemail is NOT good customer service...I'll modify this review if things change, but right now, you get 1 star....barely!

      The Lumio team did a great job from beginning to end! ***** answered every question we had and then some. The install team arrived on time and went right to work. The installation went smoothly and it was obvious that the crew knew what they were doing and took pride in doing an excellent job. They are by far the best of all the teams who have worked on my home in the past 45 years!!
