    Been waiting over 2-3 weeks from a callback. Contract has been signed they just need to call to get payment however it is an absolute NIGHTMARE to deal with this Utah office. Always. Already happened once where we asked them to build critter guard on our expense - no call back and we went with another company - now we need to upgrade communication because they switched to 5G towers without letting us know and somehow we have not been able to keep track of how much energy we’re producing. So here we are asking you to upgrade our communications, again no problem to pay, but we keep getting ghosted. I’ve called the office many times with them saying it’s out of their control and that the finance department needs a few days to call back. It’s been 21 days, and I wish I can have another company that even wants to work to upgrade communication without breaking warranty.

    Unfortunately this is a Solar Edge inverter issue.  There is a class action lawsuit against them.  Solar Edge is the company that does all of the switch outs for the upgrades.

    We had G3 solar installed End of 2022. The system was installed by young unprofessional men that appeared to not know what they were doing. We asked for 3-4 months for someone to explain to us how to monitor the system and asked why it wasn't working fully. We got the run around for months with no one wanting to take responsibility. Finally the product works but we still have damage done to in interior of the home; ************ door and electrical outlet no longer works. We've asked them to cover this cost and they say they will buy many months later no money. I hate companies that make promises that don't stand beyond their words. Worst company I've ever worked with!

    We were sold insufficient solar panels and told we would have no electric ********** we still have a bill and the company has yet to fix the issue Mosaic the lending company has sent them their money even though I told them they had not completed the job So now we have to pay Mosaic and have the same electric bill!! We have contacted multiple people at that office and no one cares because they already have their money I have made multiple reviews and they are not published to warn other consumers

    I am rejecting this response because:   *********** has not tried 4 times to come fix the issue.  That is incorrect.  I personally txt the owner ******* with absolutely zero response from him.  My husband txt later that day and he did respond.  On the txt to him I did let him know who I was and what the issues were and have been  NOTHING!  He was very mad because I notified the BBB regarding this issue but in all fairness who pays ****** for a service and is ok with it being incomplete?  Def not us  *********** does not have anyone who truly follows thru with their said promises and that is wrong.  My husband called and got the repair guys to come to our home to fix the issue.  4 of the panels were not even hooked up correctly by the installer so!! And the person he had scheduled to come out was the insulation person who is part of the package we purchased from them.  The loan documents state that it will be completed 90 days from installation but that has not happened at all.  We lack the insulation wrap package plus the "tax expert" to finish up our job.  My husband and I work very hard for our money and when we purchase something we expect them to deliver on the said promises.  This has not happened.  Once we get the said promises that ****** the sales person and ***** the project manager comes thru then we will be 100% satisfied.  This has gone on long enough.  Our electric bills have been ****** per month with these useless panels.  Lets hope to God it is fixed and we can finish this up.  SO until then we will reject every comment from the owner   Finish us up as promised

    I am rejecting this response because:I have sent a few messages with no response via instant message on the computer.   The complaint ID- ******** against G3 Solar is still not completed.  Last Friday the job was scheduled but they were not even able to do anything because ******* the owner scheduled the wrong project for the insulation company.   G3 Solar has taken our money in full paid for by Mosaic without completing the job.  We are out $35,000 and the job is still not done.  This has been going on since March 11   Quite long enough for G3 Solar to finish the said job but no.  Do not close this claim because we have been taken for money by a job not complete

    I am rejecting this response because: the company that was sent was not given any information regarding what was needed at our home.  It was a company paid to insulate our attic as per our agreement with ****** and contract which was signed on March 11.  The ducts were to be wrapped as well but again the contract which was signed has been ignored by G3 Solar.  They have their money but just try and bandaid the situation.  I also will reject the comment "they thought everything was done" because the owner of the company that was sub contracted by G3 Solar told my husband himself that he had spoken with the owner of G3 Solar ******* to explain to him the situation so we tend to believe him because we have been mislead by G3 Solar thru this whole process.  All we want is what we were sold by ****** but again that has never come to light.  Why does companies take hard earned money from consumers and get by with it.  Either do what was signed on March ***************************************** 90 days from install to all this garbage.  The owner of G3 Solar needs to honor what we signed and stop with these stupid comments on here to try and pacify us.  Give us what was signed in the contract  Your company ***** took the money from Mosaic which was not to release the money until we were competed.   I do not understand how the owner of this company can sleep at night knowing they have lied and taken our money.  So disappointed in your company ********************  DO WHAT WAS SIGNED IN OUR CONTRACT so we can close this issue and go back to living.

    I am rejecting this response because: that is a bold face lie!!  There was no call to my husbands cell or my cell on Friday July 27.  ************ is not one to trust.  I hope that future potential customers read these reports and realize what a huge disappointment it will be for them if they use G3 Solar!!  Whoever replies to these comments from G3 is not trustworthy at all.  And now not only do we have solar panels that do not produce energy for us that we have to pay for which is ****** per month for 18 months then goes to ****** we have an electric bill of ****** per month as well.  SO you do the math!!!  it doesnt take a rocket scientist to see that it is a complete waste!!  Please future customers DO NOT use G3 SOLAR for your panels or any needs at all.  ************ does not fulfil the contract and the panels DO NOT produce ENERGY like the salesmen tell you.  ****** totally mislead ** on the sale and now we have to pay the price.  *********** does not follow thru with anything they promise.  OH and they sub-contract all their jobs out so DO NOT fall for they will take care of you and make sure its all done!!  This has been going on since March 11th  Well beyond the 90 days completion on the contract.  It is now August 1st and we have the solar payment due every month and an electric bill of ******   DO NOT USE G3 SOLAR   BUYERS BEWARE

    Hello,

    Below are the notes in our CRM.  We have been in contact with the ******* several times.  Recently we sent out some service tech's to go out and service/resolve problems with the troubled inverters.  Every once in a while there are inverters that fail.  It isn't an install problem but a problem with a product/inverter.  We have been working with the inverter company to get this resolved and the 4 times we scheduled our techs to go out to the ******* home they were very difficult to work with.  According to our tech's. We are to the point now that our tech's won't even go back out to the home because of the way they were treated.  We are now locating other tech's to go out to the home to resolve any concerns or problems with the current Inverters.

     

    We will continue to work with the ******* to resolve and complete their system so that it is working correctly.

    I am rejecting this response because: this answer is very rude from a company.  Where is the customer service and follow thru that a company that sells products to consumers is.  IT is gone.  DO NOT use G3 SOLAR EVER.  If calling to make sure your ********* purchase is done correctly and finished as in contract then I guess we are guilty.  Because the contract states 90 days after installation to be done  Installation was **** and 90 days from that was **** and now it is 8-9 and still not done!!!  Over the 90days as in contract statement.  So I have documentation and printed files as well to the contact and conversation with G3 Solar as the person who replied to my earlier comment shows.  

    March 11th *********************** comes to our home in **** to sell solar panels.  He asked for our recent electric bills which I show him so he can figure the amount we use in order to purchase the correct panels.  He says we need 8 panels but sells 10 because he states that G3 only sells 10 as the least amount.  We ask about installation and regular questions and tell ****** we are only home on Fridays and weekends because like most normal people we work for a living. He reassures us that is not an issue at all.  They will work and accommodate working families.  (Remember this as it is important in the trials we haven endured from G3 Solar)  We purchase 10 plus a huge insulation package which is suppose to bring our monthly electric bill to less then ***** or zero per month per ******.  Contract signed and waiting to hear back from G3.

    April 10th we receive a txt from a subcontractor in *********** **** at 11:13 they are at our home and ready to install.  We are gone mind you it is a Monday!!  The subcontracts received a message from G3 to go there on Monday and get panels installed.  Again refer back to previous information regarding us being gone except on Fridays.  My husband txts with them and they put the panels on the roof and will finish the installation on Friday April 14.  The subcontractor even states that G3 must have new personal because they usually have all the information together.  Again if you are going to sell to the public you need to make sure all your personal is educated and informed.  BIG ERROR to start off iwth.

    April 14th my husband  sends a txt to the sub contractors to confirm they are coming.  His plane lands at **** he will be home at 2pm.  Again unfortunately we both work for a living and things come up.  He arrives home at 2pm and the subcontractor comes out and finishes the job.  They are still there at 6:35pm when I arrive home from work.  Our electric panel is connected to our solar panels. 

    April 24th we email ****** to see whats going on and where we are at in this project.  Panels installation finished  10 days ago and not one word from anyone at G3 Solar.  ****** forwards email to ************************* project manager who states the inspection was completed on **** and it passed  He would upload the inspection report to AEP who will swap meters (his words) and he will update us in a few days.

    April 30th not one word from ***** project manager

    Monday May 1st we reach out to ***** to see whats going on.  We of course are upset because he has not done one follow thru with us to keep us informed about where we are at in this process.  What home owner would not be upset because they now have 1/2 of the money and the job is not even close to being done.  This is ********* we are talking about and again, my husband and I both work fulltime plus and they do not understand why we are upset.  

    No call May 1, May 2 and finally a call May 3rd from Bradys manager *************  He states that they still need the inspection from AEP and that where we are in this matter.  WAIT!!!  ***** stated that AEP passed the inspection on **** and we were just waiting on the meter swap??  WHAT??  Who knows whats right?? We sure dont because we unfortunately trusted this company to do the complete full job with confidence and of course thats a joke.

    We receive our electric bill for May ****** June ****** and now July ****** so wait!!  We have solar and we are still getting these huge bills.  why would a consumer not be upset. 

    on **** a couple of our panels were not working.  The *** was out but no one caught that until I called and spoke with AEP Solar billing agent *********  At this time my husband reached out to the owner of G3 Solar ******************************* to see if he could actually get his company to finish what we have paid them for.  May 22 **** am my husband receives a txt from the owner ******* txting back because he was checking on the aeroseal and insulation part of the package we paid for to get it competed for us because there has been zero communication regarding this part of the deal.  At mid day ******* txt that we will be getting a call this week to schedule the aeroseal and insulation.  He states to keep in contact with HIM if he has any questions.  

    May 30th my husband sends a txt to the owner ******* to let him know that no one has contacted us regarding the aeroseal or insulation.  Wanted him to know because on ******** last txt he stated someone will be contacting us. My husband does get a call from the insulation company. 

    June 16th my husband calls ******* again because the insulation company has not completed the job.  He responds back at 5:36pm he is tied up for the rest of the day.  Can he call on Monday..

    So at this point I am beyond upset so I do the BBB complaint and we are now here arguing back and forth on the forum with he said she said words.  

    July 10th jobs still not completed and no words from anyone so I personally txt the owner ******* on his cell.  I have my whole txt printed out and not one response at all from ************; I made it perfectly clear who I was and what I was upset about.  NOTHING!! CRICKETS from the *****.  THE ***** did not respond at all.  My husband personally called him later that day and ******* stated he was upset with me because I put the complaint on BBB.  Well it is now July 10th 89 days since the install and we are not even halfway done. Electric bills just as high or high and he can not figure out why I am upset.  Maybe the owner needs to refund us all  our money for his useless solar panels.  

    Here is is August 9 and the aeroseal company is supposed to come out Aug 12 to do their job and the insulation company is supposed to come out Aug 11th to complete that job.  The insulation company owner was very nice but did inform me when I spoke to him personally that their first trip which was useless because G3 Solar did not supply them with any inform about our attic insulation job.  These last 2 jobs again are subcontracted out and we are hoping this concludes any of our dealings with G3 Solar.  We have all our conversation dates and txt information printed out in case we need them for further matters.  

    There is absolutely no way would we ever recommend this company for anything.  They have no follow thru and horrible customer service.  What every happened to making it right with the customer.  WELL thats is gone ****** by the wayside with this company   They gladly took the money from Mosaic Solair which is another issue we are addressing because who pays for a job not done. 

    DO NOT USE G3 SOLAR EVER!!!

    Horrible investment and not worth $65k. Signed the contract June 18, 2022. It took 6 months for installation and I'm still waiting for the system to pass city inspection after 9 months from signing the contract. Three months and three failed inspections past the installation. Fourth attempt canceled last Friday. Issues with G3:-Deceptive selling and flat out lies. Contract is a POS and left out what was agreed to.-Strung out installation for 9 months and counting -Stored panels and batteries for two weeks prior to installation. Delay on their part!-Broken security light and outlets not working. G3 Tech said it didn't happen on installation? Installed smoke alarm and the ceiling light fell halfway off and he left it. I Rather than tell me, he walked away. Everything worked prior to installation and not working after the December 19, 2022 installation? He didnt even check it out. Blamed it on the **** -Failed inspection for not meeting plans three times? 1st time failed for not meeting plans and code. Did nothing and inspected again the second time. Supposedly fixed the plan to meet installation, failed again on third inspection. Cancelled the fourth inspection two hours before the inspection because of an issue. A month later and I'm still waiting for the inspection and still there are issues to fix. We havent even got to the metering installation.-Tech shows up without notice, I had a funeral to go to and he was sick on top of that. I let him on the property, and he said he could do all the work outside. I was extremely unhappy about the unprofessionalism on scheduling. Afterwards, the ** said he needed to work inside the house. He was sick and I was leaving.-Drywall/sheetrock looks like a jig saw puzzle and not fixed -I'm making payments on a system that doesn't work. *************** will not work to delay payments until the system is operational. G3 ** said they would pay me back, I don't believe them.Still nothing...

    I am rejecting this response because: The solar system is still not in "service" and I will not accept the amount of the equitable adjustment. The offer is woefully low. The justification for the delays and breach of contract for extending past the period of performance are not acceptable and not justified. I received a text message Oct 4, 2022 that the application had been approved by **************** but the plans had to be revised because of an error discovered by G-3 Solar Engineering by missing a two point connection. The plans were revised and accepted? Received text Nov 1, 2022 setting up the installation date on Thanksgiving week when I was on travel for the holiday. Ok, now there's 60 calendar days, 38 business days to complete installation and inspection and it didn't happen.  I see it just the opposite, if you can't get the system installed and inspected in two months, not my fault. The burden and failure falls on G-3 Solar. Please quit making excuses. Finally, even if the installation was done timely, the workmanship and failure to install to plan would made the time line not happen. There's been four failed inspections in a three month period.

    I am rejecting this response because: The system is still not turned on completely and an equitable adjustment has been made. There has been no acceptable offer made by G3 Solar. It took over 10 months to get to this point since signing the contract. G3 Solar did not live up to the terms of the contract. The contract has been breached and the customer expects a lot more than the the token offer. There are no words to explain the incompetence from top management from contract signing (BS CONTRACT) down to the installation, and inspection. I have lost thousands of dollars in tax incentives and rebates and the issue will not end until an equitable adjustment is made.

    Someone came in June 2022, talked us into getting solar panels saying we would get a certain amount back and that would help if we payed it back so that our payment stayed low. That was a lie. The panels where supposed to be installed in November. They were installed January, as of today March 15, 2023 they have not been turned on I have sent them messages asking for information on if they will be doing it or if I will. They didnt give me any details of the system until I asked for it. I already had to do my first payment on the solar panels which cost us $97000. I just want someone to come turn them on or tell me if I can turn them on. I send a message to one person and they send me to someone else and so forth i can not get an answer from them. I just want them to be done with this project i have been patient with them and have waited long enough. No one has explained how the solar panels work or what to expect.

    Was supposed to install in August. Didn't install till October. It's late February and my system is still not on. I call all the time and I think her name is ****** and she has no follow through. She is dishonest promising shed get it up and running and will not pay me back money due and I have a third payment coming out in a few days. It's been 5 months. Not a single person calls us back even though they promise to do so too.

    I had a solar power system installed in September 2022. It has not passed inspection by ******************** so it cannot be turned on due to labeling not done correctly and the correct documents submitted to the power company. I reached out to G3 Solar to have the problem resolved and they have said that they would get it fixed. l have been waiting almost three months and they still have not fixed it. I continually get emails from ******************** requesting the documentation saying that it has been corrected. It's been frustrating working with G3 Solar

    I purchased solar panel fro G3 Solar. They panels were put on the roof with no electrical connection. That was on September 16, 2022. The solar system I bought cost $39,600. The first payment is due in 12 days. The panels are not energized. My credit rating has dropped 30 points because of the loan application for solar power. The company promise to complete the job on November 14. That is today. This is the second time they have broken a promise to have the system connected. The promised three weeks ago to have them energized last week. They do not follow though on business contracts they have made.

    Inquired about solar panels from G3 after have an advert placed on our garage, being new home owners and since we live in a desert we wanted to have solar to help offset high energy costs. During signing of the contract, we specifically asked about being able to transfer the loan in case we decide to sell our home, they (G3) told us it was completely doable so we happily signed. After installation, it seemed like G3 was completely done with us as any time we tried to contact them they never returned calls or any type of correspondence. After trying to ask about bird screens around the panels, what we should do in case of need of cleaning, and anything else, they just never responded. Now, we are trying to sell our home and we are being told that we can not transfer the loan to the buyers. This is a stressful situation and others need to know about the unprofessional practices that G3 employs, the lies, the "ghosting", and refusal to respond in general makes me never want to use G3 ever again and I hope others see this and make a better choice than we did.

    In May of 2021, I purchased Solar panels and installation with G3 Solar. On August 10, 2021, the installation was completed. I felt truly bad when one of the workers walked off the floorboards in the attic and came through our kitchen ceiling. I tended to the cut on his leg, and he insisted on continuing to work. On December 20, 2021, everything was set, and the exciting moment of switching on the solar panels was here. On January 3, 2022, eleven out of twenty of my panels were not working.” Microinverter is reporting a production issue. ”Many phone calls and emails were sent to G3 Solar for weeks, with no response. On February 16th, I finally spoke with a G3 representative. I explained what happened and that I had not received any response. On March 10th, 2022, I received a call from Hunter, a project manager who asked me to go up into the attic and check on the wires and send pictures. I did just that and texted him the picture. Nothing was wrong with the wires. On March 14, 2022, Hunter asked me to flip the breakers, I told him they were not tripped, but he wanted me to flip them off and on. I flipped the breakers, and he said it will take about 24 hours, and I should be good. Twenty-four hours came and gone, and nothing worked. On March 25th, Two men came, one I remember from installation. He said the breaker was tripped. I told him I did not understand because I checked the breakers. About 20 minutes later, all panels seemed to be working. On April 11, 2022, eighteen days later after they came. The same 11 microinverters are out. I went out and tripped the breakers as I was told, and they eventually came on. I explained that this should not be happening. This is an existing problem from installation, and something needs to be done. It is now October 4, 2022, and the same 11 microinverters have been out since August 27th. Flipping the breaker did nothing, and again I was told someone would reach out to me. There is more to the story and more details.

     They did send to my house on October 26th, They said a connection was loose on the roof. It was working but then on 11/12 the same 11 were out and again no response from G3 Solar
