      I ordered a red rug. I was sent a magenta rug. I called and explained this to customer service. I was told that I would have to pay $35 for shipping. I see why they had to close all the stores. This a horrible company in my opinion and I wouldnt spend another dime with BB& B

      I placed an online order for a white computer desk with Overstock.com and was sent a cherry colored jewelry chest and yellow, janitorial mop bucket. I contacted Overstock and sent a ***************************** Service (CS) Representative pictures of the incorrectly sent items, which was confirmed by her that the wrong items were delivered to my home. I was then told it is not Overstock's policy to reorder incorrectly sent items, but only to issue a refund. I agreed to the refund, but was also told that items would need to be shipped back to them, which I agreed to do. What I was not expecting , which is what I have since been told by an Overstock CS representative is that I will not be issued my refund until the incorrect items are received by them. This is not good ***************************** service!! I pay for one item, receive the wrong item, and it is now placed on me to correct Overstock's mistake before I am made whole with a refund. NO MORE OVERTOCK (Beyond, Inc.) for me or those I can tell my story.

      Bed Bath and beyond listed a 6 piece ***** patio set on the ******* site as a 3rd party seller. I purchased this patio set for under $200. What I was sent was a writing desk with 2 small drawers. I called before I opened the box to find out how many boxes to expect because a 6 piece patio set wasn't going to fit in one long flat box. It was then that they told me there was a listing error. They knew there was a listing error and no one bothered to call me, the just sent an ugly writing desk. I told them firmly that I wanted what I had ordered. I was told they would decide what I needed to do with the desk and when I could received my refund in a day or so. I received an email the next morning letting me know that they are not required to send me what I ordered but they would process my refund and let me keep the desk as a token of our sincerest apologies. I did not want the ugly particle board writing desk, I have not use for it, and now I am tasked with paying to get rid of it because they didn't want to pay for shipping it back to them. This was a huge bait and switch and I was not the only one they did this to. I called ******* and was told they had enough complaints that they pulled BBB items from the site. This whole episode was unbelievable. What happen to the days when retailers had to stand behind what they where selling.

      I received an automatic subscription from Bed Bath and Beyond on Dec. 14, 2024. I dont recall that I ever subscribed membership of from it so I called to cancel the membership after New Year. I was told since it was automatic renewed, I could not cancel it..

      Bed bath and beyond sells third party products and then wont help when a defective item is sent. They refer you to the third party who doesnt respond and then Bed bath and beyond says their hands are tied. Such a scam and terrible way to treat ******************************.

      This company is a scam. The sheets advertised is not what you get. Upon trying to return the items they want to charge me $42.00 to return a $69.00 order. When they would not give me a prepaid label and I chose to send back on my own they made me sent to 2 different locations costing me much more than if it was just one package. The product is not what is advertised and their ***************************** service is a joke. After checking on reviews after i received the items they have over 1000 complaints on this very product. Wish I had looked before i bought. They are a scam and I will be looking at taking further action with an attorney. They need to stop doing this to people!**** *.

      The return policy is a SCAM. They intentionally DELAY and play games hoping you'll go away. I've been trying to return a defective crappy mattress for 3 weeks and these scammers go around in circles and straight up lie over and over again. I've wasted hours calling to speak with call centers in other countries. They apologize each time and assure me they are escalating the return to the correct. They ask for photos then send a list of questions, none of which are relevant to my return, then they start all over! "We're sorry, your return was not properly escalated two weeks ago. Let's begin again." It's beyond absurd. Over a dozen requests to speak with a supervisor and yet one was never available. I've given up and have just accepted the loss of over $800. It's not worth the stress anymore. Over the holidays too, these people truly have no shame. The whole return policy is a scam. NEVER buy from these fools. Hopefully their corporate offices will respond. We shall see.

      Overstock uses an email to tell about a return. Here's the part that is confusing from one of mine.Product Price $101.48 Product Discount -$24.71 Your Refund $61.39 Obviously, the subtracting the discount from the price comes equals $76.77, not $61.39 (or for the other 3 boxes $62.31, $*****, & $*****).So I called their ***************************** care. The person was very patient and helpful in describing what the actual numbers were - thanks. Turns out $101.48 is the item's original price without any discounts or coupons -- not the $90.32 I paid. So in the return Overstock subtracted from the $101.48 the coupon & return *** shipping cost (4 boxes at $14.46 each). Only they didn't show the math on the email. Therefore, the credit to my account was actually the total of the $62.39, 62.31, ***** & ***** and that is correct at $248.34. So if I haven't lost you with the math... I spent a lot of my time trying to figure out what happened then had to spend 1/2 hour on the phone with the agent just getting to the numbers on the email. Therefore, Overstock just put the actual numbers on the email, and maybe you wouldn't have lost me and wasted my time. Also spent the cost of your agent's time unnecessarily!

      Absolute scam now. Overcharge for returns even though delivered items are low quality and returned exactly as they were first shipped. They stole 40% of the price paid for a product THEY misrepresented and sold, though they had it back within a week.Terrible, terrible service.

      I purchased a 7 piece outdoor furniture set on **** from them. Later they changed the description and shipped me cushion only . I also saw similar case last month through negative feedback on review. This company is misleading customer in making purchase. They are creating hassle to consumer to go through return and pay for printing shipping label at the store. They should be banned from selling on **** and other potential online store. It is not the first time they have made this mistake.
