      account ******, I met Loomis at my front door 8 months ago and he told me that I could get the service for 8 months and then to text him to cancel it without fees.... it was going smooth for 8 months even if i was charged $55/month and had to call Loomis every time if not nobody was showing to my house at all to spray.... not really professional... but of course at the moment I reached 8 months and then no more answer for my text or call... and not really happy and plus still have cockroaches showing up.

      My husband signed up for Hawx earlier this year. We were renting and having some bug issues. We knew we were moving soon, and the salesman reassured us we could cancel anytime. Well, both my husband and I have personally called, spoken to multiple representatives, and told them we no longer needed the service as we had
      Moved. The one time they did come out they did crap job, and didn’t complete what they said they would. And after that we were in the process of moving and told them we no longer needed their service.
      They have continued to for months now, relentlessly sending us invoices for services we did not use. We reported that we moved and no longer needed their services. We paid for the first month that we used them, and now continue to be billed for not only services that were never rendered but also for something that was CANCELED, both over the phone and via written email confirming we no longer need their service. I am at my wits end because I am feeling harassed at this point and feel dooped for signing up for this service after being reassured by a salesperson that we could cancel anytime.
      If this continues I will have no choice but to get an attorney involved.

      On 6/7/22 a Representative of hawx pst control came to my door and offered services to eliminate yellow jacket nests and generals bug spraying from around my house for *****. My wif and i agreed to the service. He hd my wife sign for the service after we gave him a credit card number. ************ was completed the following day on 6/8/22.On 9/6/22 we got a bill in the mail for the amount of ******. I called Hawx and got the acounting department and stated that we paid for the service on 6/7/22 and they said that I signed a 12 month service contractwith them . I statd that we had not signed up for 12 monthS but only for the one service and they billed me for service on 7/7/22 for ***** on 8/7 /22 for *****. I told them that in fact I did not iecieve service for those dats and that I was not going to pay for those services and that I wished to cancel service with them going forward. On 10/5/22 I got another bill in the mail for the amount of ****** I would like to get all of these charges erased and the accout closed the account number is ************ YOU FOR YOUR HELP ON THIS MATTER. *******************

      On July ******* a representative from Hawk pest control came to our door started he was in the neighborhood servicing a house and was offering a special for pest control for $39.99 monthly and to do outside and the rodent boxes would be $59.99 monthly and we could cancel anytime no fees about cancelling were advised. We were advised we would pay today 7/31/2022 but would cover August payment. This was not correct we were charged for July on the 31st and again in August. They put the rodent box in the middle of our fenced in yard where snakes are constantly going into and trying to attack our dogs, the wasps they stated would go away came back and rebuilt hives within days of the original date of service. We contacted Hawk pest control to cancel and they advised us there was a $225.00 cancellation fee to cancel. This was not what we were advised by the representative that came to our house on July 31. 2022.

      We had a door to door salesman approach us regarding pest control, we informed them that we recently stopped using another company. The salesman asked to give Hawx a chance and they could eliminate our problem regarding the ants and fleas. We had one spray done and it didn’t take care of our problem with fleas in our yard. I was told before we even started with them that at anytime we had a problem, someone would come out at no additional cost other than the 40 payment each month. I contacted Hawx and asked for a spraying for the fleas and was told this was an additional cost of 300.00 which they didn’t inform us of, all we were told was that termites would be extra, but termites aren’t a concern. I have 4 witnesses that can testify exactly what was said and what they offered. The salesman tells you one thing and than it’s completely different from what the company says. I feel as if people are being deceived just for Hawx to sell a contract. I’ve contacted the company but have gotten nowhere with this. I don’t want my money back for the initial spraying but I don’t feel I should have to pay a cancellation fee when they were deceitful of what they offered and than turn around trying to get additional money for something that was offered in the first place.

      When the employee from Hawx Pest came to my house it was NEVER stated that I would locked into a year contract. In fact it was discussed about canceling within a few months that would be no problem. Now I am being told not only do 8 owe for services where ***** came and did anything at my house but that I will be charged huge cancelation fees for canceling early. I requested to speak with a manager was told there was none available. I was bounced from rep to rep to rep then told I would receive a call back in 72 hours. I have had one treatment done to which I owed but was unable to pay due to surgery and being out of work. I spoke with the company on this when they charged my inaccurately on the first bill. I am not happy with this bait and switch c*** they pulled. I spoke with my roommate the day they were here and since there was no issues with canceling at anytime and NO CONTRACT we agreed to do it. I WOULD NEVER HAVE SIGNED KNOWING I WOULD BE LOCKED IN. EVER!!!!!!I have attempted to get resolution through the company to no avail. Thanks,*********

      I am rejecting this response because:

       

      their representative who came to the house was specifically asked if I/we could cancel the service at any time. We were told yes, contract was never mentioned. House mates heard the conversation as well. Nor was it disclosed that the normal month charge for each package was $249.00 (2 pkgs - 1 indoor and 1 outdoor). Since I was not aware of a contract I was never informed that canceling the contract would cause me to be charged the normal price $249.00 times 2 = $498.00. They are saying now I owe $672.86 and the came to my house ONETIME. There representative should have told us of the contract, cancelation fees and charge backs on the discounted service. They offered me on the phone to credit one charge back for one package if I continued the service with them for the other package. I declined why would O stay with a company that lies to their customers and takes no ownership of their actions. I am not the only one who has complained about this. Its a repeating issue with this company were they did NOT inform the customer of the actual amounts or of the contract. This is a classic bait and switch. I refuse to pay anything to them now on principle. The numerous calls I have made attempting to resolve, along with rude customer service agents, refusing to allow me to speak with a manager required to wait days for call back only to be treated horribly yet again. I have invoices that state cancelation fees and others that state its the discount. Everything about this company is shady. They need to remove the charges period or I will take further action.

      Back in July 19th a guy came to my house I told him to leave. Kept pressing so I listened to him. He made a bunch of promises on what the company would do at a higher price than I was paying my other pest control including coming once a month, pest proofing the house by closing up holes everywhere and laying all new traps, getting rid of cobwebs and cleaning the attic/crawlspace. They did none of this. I asked the guy who came that appeared to just lightly spray a couple of areas and leave. He said that that's not what they do and that they only spray and lay traps if they think they need to. 2 of my sticky traps were full. I did not pay since they did not do the service. It was also well after there refund period since the appoint was a week later. Contacted my other pest prevention and they did all those things for no additional cost. I talked to a hawx agent after being on hold for awhile when they sent me a bill threatening to go to collections and she said that they don't promise everything the salesman said. I found multiple people have been scammed by this company. I just want them to stop bothering us and leave us alone. The solicitor also didn't have a liscense to do so and ignored me and my neighbors when saying we didn't want to talk to them. This guy walked in my house after ringing the doorbell when it said newborn baby don't ring and scammed us with false advertisements. If it helps me and my wife are both active duty airforce. This company should not be accredited I have found so many posts talking about there scummy practices. Thankyou for your time

      I am rejecting this response because: I will not pay for a service you did not do. You promised several services that were not provided. There are tons of people that report your shady practices I won't pay a dime for a service not provided. The email agreement was presented as a a agreement to do all the things the salesman said that your company would provide. You did not do those things so the agreement is void. It's 2 sided you did not keep up your side. I will not pay for a service not provide thats just stealing.

      The service was to eliminate a large percentage of mosquitos and insects. The service never worked. I have been attempting for months to cancel the service and they will not respond. I get transferred (over 5 times) to an "account specialist" but no one answers the phone. They will not allow cancellation without speaking to the nonexistant accout specialist. I have tried for months -the notes are in their system. Very fraudulant company. The service tech even said that the product would never work and they are knowingly defrauding customers.

      In 2018, I was a customer of Hawx. In October of 2018, I canceled the service, however, 2 weeks ago, I received an invoice for Service I did not authorize. I did not re-enable my service.

      I would like my account credited back to $0.00, my service permanently canceled, and my account closed so that this does not happen again.

      A salesman solicited me at my door and talked me into signing up for a special for $40 for a service appointment every 3 months. The first technician came and I was charged the $40. The technician called a month later to make an appointment to service my home and never showed up. He made me waste my whole day just waiting for him to show up. Later I found out I was charged another $80 for that service I never received. I called and then was told I signed two different contracts for different services, this was not explained to me by the salesperson. I then requested to cancel the service and was threatened with $500 in cancellation fees. I told them do not come to my home again and I do not authorize any more charges to my credit card. They then threatened me with collections. 2 months later I received a unauthorized charge for $542. Again, for a service that I never received. This is business is a complete scam.
