      June 6, 2024 (strike 1)Technician during the 1st visit stated that someone from **** would come back out in 2 weeks to complete the service. after two weeks I had to call to reschedule as the technician forgot to reschedule. I had to call. June 18th. (strike 2)I called Hawx to schedule free once a year termite inspection at 10:30am EST. I was transferred several times and then put on hold for 20 minutes. I called back and they said to call back later in the day. I called at 5:00pm EST and was put on hold for 45 minutes. I called on a different phone and they said they would have a manager call me on the 19th in the morning. June 19th (strike 3)I called at 12:30 EST and they again transferred me several times and I eventually spoke to someone who said that it was not part of their regular service unless I saw active termites in the home. They did agree to send someone out but only to give me a quote. June 19th (strike 4)I also asked that they also apply the grub control when they come out to complete 1st application. They said that is not provided. (sales rep stated it was provided at the point of sale). (strike 5)I asked to speak to a manager and ***** said that I could not speak to anyone else besides her and she refused to give me her full name. I want my money back!

      Switched to Hawx after Kuba came by on a holiday and gave us a great deal. Someone came out that day to spray. We agreed to the extra monthly charge for rodent control. First spray was awesome. Was impressed with the fast service.A couple weeks later I reached out to **** to check in on the rodent control boxes to see when they will be put in. He needed to get with the owners. Okay, no big deal. I noticed some ants so went to schedule over the weekend. They didnt have anything asap so scheduled today 6/19 for a spray. I texted **** who said he would try and swing something Monday or Tuesday. Never got that to happen, still no word on the rodent boxes and NO ONE SHOWED today. Not a text, a call that no one was coming.Very disappointed. Would like to cancel contract as they are in breach without payment penalty

      I spoke with **** and was informed someone will come today and Ill get a months credit. If this doesnt happen, I would like to cancel my contract as you are in breech of it. Have not received the rodent traps. Did not get a notification that no one is coming. I will not pay the contract cancellation fee.

      Cancelling of services.I was living in ******, ** and relocated to *********, **. I reported this information to the company and they still charged me for the services. I provided them with a state identification card with an issuance date. I am not a homeowner and do not have a lease with anyone. I lived with my son in ***** and I now live with my sister in *******. I have disputed charges with my financial and their arrogant CSR person told me that I would be charge again in spite of my relocation.

      On5/24/2024a salesman showed up and sold us a contract doe pest control. We asked multiple times about cancelation fees, and he assured us there was none. Based on this a contract was signed. He also promised he will call our current pest control company and handle the cancelation of that service. Last week we received a notice that the old account was still open, and after reviewing services decided to cancel Hawx, and now we got a 199$ cancelation fee. After calling the company, they showed a contract that allegedly we signed, and the refuse to reimburse our cancelation fee.

      We are aware of the contract, and agreement, however that is not what we were told by the salesman, we asked several times about termination fees and he say there were none, them when my wife asked what she was signing, he just say it was a concent for service the next day. 
      we were deceived by the salesman, not only on this, he also promised to take care of the current contract with a different company, and he didnt do that. 
      practices like this is why I avoid door to door salesperson like the plague, we had the back luck on thinking we could enjoy a nice afternoon im our cul de sac without being disturbed, 250$ mistake.

      This company has been a problem from the beginning. Every time we had a pest control service we had issues with bugs right away. Our second appointment was set for a Saturday afternoon due to my wifes personal issues. The technician showed up before 10:00. I was not home to receive him. When my wife finally got to the door he was already in his truck. When he came in he asked to use the bathroom, which she reluctantly allowed. He proceeded to urinate all over ver the seat and leave it there for my wife to sit in. At this time I attempted to cancel services with this company but was told I would be charged a three month cancellation fee. I allowed them to continue my service contract. On multiple occasions I asked when my contract would end and was told ****. I called to cancel in **** after the final payment had been made and was still charged an early cancellation fee of $199.00 which is actually four months. When I called to attempt to get my money back I was told that the cancellation fee could not be refunded unless I re opened an account for another twelve months. This company is ridiculous and I would like to have my money returned. I even offered to allow them to keep a payment for **** in case I was mistaken on the final payment and was refused unless I signed a new twelve month contract. I was very rude at this point due to much anger and aggravation.

      I was initially charged for services from Hawx Pest control in **************** in 2021 but they never rendered their service. They didn't show up or complete any of the items they said they would. I asked that they cancel it and refund me since they never showed up. Never heard back from them. As of today 6/13/24 Hawx Pest Control tried to charge my card $395 and have no business doing so. This should be considered theft or fraud.

      I decided to use this company after the knocked on my door. The sprayed that same day, on the next month they just showed up with no warning while nobody was home, they sprayed my neighbors home, not mine. Which drove a bunch of mosquitos to my home which was actually part of the door knockers pitch that spraying my home would send mosquitos to the homes around mine. When I called and told them they sprayed the wrong house they made an appointment to come again. The sprayed the exact same house. At this point there was a huge influx of mosquitos at my home, when I called they said they could send somebody back out in a week. I said no I would just like to cancel and be refunded for the spray that was at the neighbors home. They informed me they couldnt refund me and there would be a $199 cancelation charge. How can you not refund somebody for a service you provided to the wrong home? Also in regards to the cancellation charge in their contract it says If they fail to provide service no cancel charge will be applied. The response I got was they still have a chance to provide the service next week. This is ludicrous since they already charged me for a service and I didnt receive it and their error made my home worse. The customer service rep talked in circles. Just a complete unprofessional company . Do not use.

      A Hawx salesperson came to my front door and sold me on weekly insect service for $100 a month on My 15th. This was specifically sold to me as a way to get rid of mosquitos in our backyard.On May 29th, I sent the Hawx sales rep a photo of my 2 year old's back, which was absolutely covered in bites after being outside for about 15 minutes.I texted the sales rep ********** doesn't seem to be working well."On Friday May 31st, I texted again, "hi ***** - still havent seen anyone come to service."He responds, "They should be there tomorrow afternoon between 12-4."On Saturday June 1st at 6 pm, I respond, "Nobody showed up."He responds, "Just called our tech guy and he was super busy today and unfortunately missed your appointment. I'm just now hearing about it, we'll be there June 3rd between 8-12. I'm so sorry about this, it was just a miscommunication."The following day (June 2nd) I got a text confirmation from the company and it alerted me that they were coming to service my property, but the text message included the incorrect address. So I texted *****, "This is not even the right address, which confirms my suspicion that we still have not had our property serviced a single time. It's been two weeks since you guys first charged me. That's two weeks that i've been charged for service and not received any. Either cancel my policy and and refund the first payment or explain to me what you guys are going to do to make this right."He responds, " I'm so sorry that the wrong address was put in, that is my fault. I'll get that first service done for free for you guys and we'll refund that first treatment."Well today I called to cancel my contract. Not only would they not refund me, but they also charged me a $200 early termination fee because I was outside their 3-day refund window. So now I'm $300 in and they haven't provided any service.Stay as far away from this company as you can.

      I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Hawx Pest Control, located in *****. I have encountered significant issues with their service and billing practices that remain unresolved despite my efforts to address them directly with the company.Around I will,November,December, January. I was scheduled to receive pest control treatment at my home. However, due to a system error on the part of Hawx Pest Control, this appointment was canceled without notification, and no service was rescheduled or provided. Despite this, I have been charged $100.00 dollars for service that was never performed. When I talked with ************** also paid hawk $46.00 dollars and this was supposed to be closed. In an attempt to resolve this issue, I spoke with a manager named ******. ****** acknowledged the system error and assured me that, given the credits I had received, I should not be charged for the missed service, and my account should be closed. He promised to follow up with a phone call to confirm the resolution. Unfortunately, it has been over a month since that conversation, and I have yet to receive any follow-up communication from ****** Hawx Pest Control.Instead of resolving the issue, I am now being harassed daily with demands for payment for a service that was never rendered. This situation is unacceptable and has caused me significant distress.I am seeking the BBB's assistance to resolve this matter. Specifically, I request that:1. Hawx Pest Control ceases all demands for payment for the unprovided service.2. My account with ********************** is officially closed, as previously indicated by ******.3. I receive a formal apology from Hawx Pest Control for the inconvenience and harassment I have experienced.

      I obtained a 12 mo. contract with this company . They did not deliver as promised to their part of the contract. last service was not provided. I was told to reactivate the account in order to get the last service. I did, I was told I was not going to get billed. Never got the last service and now I'm being billed again a $49.00 monthly service fee. I closed the account and still being charged. I want the fee removed, they breached the contract by not providing the last quarterly service. I have a ring camera and video, where the employee only took a picture of the house outside and never came to service the house.
