      The business had solicitors in my neighborhood. Firstly I have a no soliciting sign on my door so the contact was already a violation. The representative gave me the impression that I would be paying for a one time pest service, that I could cancel afterward. The representative was uncomfortably pushy as well, despite telling him multiple times that I wasn't sure and that my husband is deployed, and I wanted to check with him first. Thinking it would be a one time purchased, I got the initial service, only to get a contract [my husband] stating we were in a contract for a year. Upon contacting their company and letting them know the deception of their rep, they pushed that we would have to pay their cancellation fee, which they state is 400 dollars. This is a deceptive and horrible tactic and I have seen many reviews of people getting this same treatment. I don't want to pay for the deception and want something to be done so future people will not be deceived and scammed out of money.I also want this deceptive contract cancelled without their fees. No one deserves that kinda surprise.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      I did not see a welcome video or anything. I was given the impression by your representative that I was signing for a one time treatment. He said that if I wanted to continued the service, all I had to do was call and showed me what your prices were, but again I had stated specifically to your representative that I did not want to start a service until I consulted with my deployed husband.
      If what I signed was for a service, it was definitely fraudulent. Your company is horrible.

      I cancelled service. I was told I could cancel at any time without fees. They charged me a cancellation fee and they also waited to cancel my account after requested until my next bill came and refused to cover it

In the agreement it explains the early termination fee. Since you did not fulfill the agreement we had to add the fee.       The requested date of closure was prior to the charge. The amount of time it takes for your company to close an account is irrelevant to any charges incurred. No services were completed between the request of closure and the charge. If I was charged for another month then I would expect to receive services for the month I paid (June). You can either return the money or provide service. You cannot take money without providing a service.

      Hello, my elderly mother got duped into signing up for Hawx pest control. They sprayed outside once which resulted in all of the bugs and rodents infesting the inside of the home afterwards. I tried messaging the contact sales lady ******* and told her we wouldn't be using the service anymore but she just sent me a link to reschedule which needed sign in info that was never created. I used my card to pay since my mother is on a fixed income and I received another charge today 6/4/2024 for $109.99. No one came by and did any work but I was charged once again.

      They say they came out and treated my house. The date claimed I was home all day. I know for a fact no one came to the house. I signed up for the service to have the inside treated as well. One year later no one has treated the inside of the house. All they do is send an email stating the house has been treated. I informed them I wanted to be here while the house is being treated, no way. Im trying to cancel the contract which is up in 24 days and they claim their system wont let them cancel until after expiration date of contract. Call back the day after and it will be cancelled.The problem is they put you on auto renewal so to me if I call the day after it will auto renew

      After I asked to cancel my contract with them on multiple occasions, ***** took it upon themselves to renew my contract for another year against my multiple complaints and repeated telling them that their services were not wanted. Now I am getting repeated phone calls every day wanting me to pay them for 3 months worth of service at a higher premium. Note there has been no one from Hawks on my property after the contract was canceled other than the 1 guy whom came and picked up the ( termite) traps.I have been threatened to pay , harassed repeatedly even after I told them to stop calling me.

      We had a rodent in our garage, it ate the wiring on our Porsche and once we learned the cause we contacted Hawx as we were already on contract with them, they came out and had me sign a contract to add rodents, and put a couple of black boxes outside the garage and sticky tape inside, thankfully our insurance company covered the expense. It wasn’t long I had my car back and it happened again, we contacted Hawx immediately and had an appointment 5/23/24 for them to come out, we waited the entire four hour window and nobody came out. I dropped my car off at Porsche again they didn’t show and sat in the phone with them for 34 minutes and he guaranteed me that a service rep would be out on 5/27/24 at 8am, I asked him to confirm multiple times as it was Memorial Day and guaranteed multiple times. Of course Monday came and no show again. I got my car back and because our insurance company had put out nearly $5,000 and Hawx no showed twice I was afraid to put my car back in the garage and contacted another rodent company that removed it from my garage. I called Hawx to cancel as they failed to hold up their end of the contract and no showed/no called twice and they charged me $199. I spoke with both Aubrey and Tiffany in customer service service both told me “to bad” I was on a contract, I asked for the manager and Tiffany said she was the manager and that if I wanted to activate my account she’d waive the $199 otherwise there was nothing else to discuss and hung up. I called another number and talked with Allen Hammer, he was the only decent human at the organization but also said the companies law department wouldn’t waive the $199 unless I reinstated my contract. It seems absurd that this organization feels their customers should hold to a contract that they themselves do not. I’d like my $199 back.

      My 12 month contract ended in May. I had scheduled a spray on May 9 , no-one showed up for the appointment when I had to take off work to be able to be present to let them in. I was sent a text message that wanted to take $10 off my monthly payment. I responded back to the message on the same day. Letting them know noone arrived for the appointment and I would like to cancel my account instead of extending for another year. I also email this company and noone responded back to me.
      However, the company continues to billed me in June. When I called to cancel my account. I placed on hold to a number that never picks up.

      I really want my money back and account to be closed. This company is sketchy and a scam.

      A door to door salesman for HAWX pest coontrol pitched pest control. He offered what he called a good deal which was $49. a month for a year that would rid my entire property for any insects. I said no and declined the offer. He then offered a one time spraying for $49. which I agreed to.. I gave him my credit card number for this service only. I noticed extra charges on my credit card. I reported it to my credit card company and they sent me a copy of a contract that I had never seen or agreed to. This scam contract with an electronic signature was incorrect as I sign all checks or contracts wihh my middle initial. I was never asked for my email as it wouldn't be needed for a one time charge. I couldn't cancel a contract that was never valid or given to me. The company is difficult to get ahold of as the three numbers I have are always busy so I would appreciate your help. My wife and I are retired and one of us is at home and we have never seen a representative do any work including the one visit I agreed to. Although I am 80 face to face seems less of a scam than emails or phone calls I am wrong about that. I would like to see this contract terminated with no additional charges if the company claims they did the work I have been charged for with no cancellation fee.

You had spoke to a customer care agent on March 12th and were told your agreement would be fulfilled the next month and to call in then. We did not hear back from you until May 13th. At that time we were able to close your account without the early termination fee. The outstanding balance was from the monthly charge that occurred before the account was closed.       I am rejecting this response because:
      I had followed earlier phone directions to call prior to the next service next month which I did. The $55 charge is for service NOT rendered and followed completion of the 12 month contract. Therefore mentioned early termination fee is complete nonsense.   Call went in on the 13th and the contract was cancelled (and accepted as cancelled) prior to the service scheduled. I received no service so I should pay no fee. Contract was fulfilled and terminated by both parties.
