A door to door salesman came to my door talking about a $1 special. They would only accept check so I did. He asked me to initial on his tablet I asked why and he said it was just so they know he was here. Turns out it was a contract. After he left I called him back and asked him to bring back my check that I changed my mind and he never did. Nobody ever contacted me and never saw anyone. I received a bill in the mail for $180. When I called the company she told me that they came out once and they had pictures. She said they tried to contact me through my email but I never gave my email the email she had wasn't mine. She also said the bill was now $240 & she then admitted to me that they tried to w/d am additional $55 from my checking account without my permission but I had already gone to the bank and restricted my account. They charged fees on top of charging me for each month and no one came out. Running a business like this should be illegal. The entire situation feels fraudulent. I highly suggest staying away from this business.

If I could leave a minus 10 I would. They took advantage of my elderly mother who has dementia and had her unknowingly sign a 12 month contract and no won't let her out of it. I've called and explained the situation to them but they won't budge. Shame and awful on them! Do NOT have anything to do with them!Hawx Services, LLC

Very expensive and I was not aware there was an early termination fee. I only had I service paid ************************** 75 dollars and when I canceled they charged me ****** kept calling me daily about payment when I had already informed them of a payment date that was convenient for me.. very annoyingHawx Services, LLC

Scammed by Hawx Pest Control. Door 2 Door salesman came to my home I explained that I didn't want to do a subscription service. The salesman told me the service was 59$ a month and could cancel anytime. The home was sprayed outside and never inside. When I complained they came out and sprayed outside again but never inside. Six months later I still receive calls asking me to pay 199 for cancellation and it will continue to accumulate late fees although my home was never serviced. Horrible company with terrible practices and I hope there's a way to get more attention on their practices so this can be stopped. Even more disappointed to see the first 20 reviews on BBB 1 star and stories are similar to mine. I had issues back in June/July 2023 and called into cancel I was told it was all taken care of only to be charged again. I called and was told by a manager they can not do a refund but will give me July -Dec for free. I have an email from this manager letting me know that I will have no charges until 12/30/23 and I need to call and cancel before then to avoid any charges. I have called 4 times and get 0 help from anyone and they are still trying to charge me. NEVER USE HAWKS!!!Hawx Services, LLC

I hired Hawx for their 7-day / 3-week initial control process based on the ***** breeding cycle. I was told there was a $300 discount for the initial service. After the initial visit, they didn't return. After 7 days, I called them for the second treatment as promised by our contract. They never scheduled another treatment. When the 2nd pest control expert finally showed up, he pointed out all the things the first pest control expert did not do. After the 3rd pest control expert finished, he showed me all the things the 2nd technician did not do. When I asked about the company process, he explained that each worker does what they want. Realizing the sales discussion I had had with the salesmen was all lies, I immediately canceled the contract at which point I was informed there was a $300 cancellation fee. I paid the $300 cancellation fee over a few months. They deposited every check I sent with each check clearly stating it was to be applied to the cancellation fee. The final check stated paid in full on the check. I have explained this to the collection department and to customer service each and every time I spoke to them - a total of 6 times. They continue to send me past-due notices. Even the collection department and customer service are incompetent. There are plenty of other services in *******. I also wish I had looked here before we chose this service. We had a nice but smooth-talking kid on a hoverboard go through our neighborhood. I could tell he was a Mormon based on his appearance and I later checked the corporate offices and they are in *****, ****. We paid and then they only came one time. They then started sending us bills for services but since they only came one time, I called and left messages (always, always, always "busy serving other customers" no matter what time of day) and also emailed to cancel. They broke the contract by not showing up but one time. Now they are harassing us for over $300, even though they failed to show up more than one time. It was supposed to be $60 per month but we paid $200 and they came one time. Stay away from this company. We are in *********, **.Hawx Services, LLC

I wasn't pleased with how they do their job! 1st time out the service guy left a huge red ant hill in my backyard, 2nd guy comes out and sprays in the rain so I didn't like the service!!!! I call main office to cancel my services.... It cost me $368.72 to be done with this company. They said it would be a $199.00 dollar cancelation fee and the remaining balance which came to me paying $368.72. I've called several times to resolve this but I'm getting nowhere. I paid in full but somehow they say I owe $55.00 dollars more, which $5.00 of this is for late fees. I called this morning and the lady said she could drop the late fee and I could pay $30.00 to resolve this, I just don't understand after paying all this money to be done with this company how they can do this. People beware of this company!!!!! Wow can't this review unless I leave a star rating which they don't deserve a rating a rating!!!Hawx Services, LLC

Hello please help me report this company they are scamming people into a contract with false information. They wont cancel my account even though I told them that its not my account. They wont stop charging me for service Im not receiving or want. They got my email address somewhere and keep sending me bills and I already called them and they refused to stop billing me. They claim that I signed a contract which I didnt. I have called them several times but they keep sending me emails. Im not paying them but they keep sending harassing emails to me. Please help. I have called the office many times but they refuse to help me or cancel this account that was created with false information. They don't deserve even 1 star but it would not allow me to submit it without checking at least 1 star.Hawx Services, LLC

I wish I would have checked BBB site before falling prey to this company. Like so many reviews, company does not care about honest business tactics & has zero **************** (C/S) skills. Salesman did pitch on 8/2/23. I explained I'm extremely happy with existing pest company & hesitate to make a change. He continued on about how much I am getting overcharged & they can provide such **************** for less ********* do not even need to cancel my existing service, Hawx's will handle. I asked if I get the exact same service that I currently have & about cancelling if I am not happy. I was told same service & if I want to cancel, he just removes me from the route. Finally agreed, since I was getting 'exact same service' for about $20 less a quarter. Rep had me sign paperwork stating it was for the initial credit card charge, technician performed service on 8/3/23. A few days later in reviewing contract, noticed nothing was mentioned about termite ************* cancellation fee. I sent an email questioning, never received a response. It wasn't until 8/11/23 when 'old pest control' performed quarterly service that I realized I had been scammed & verbal communication were all lies. Tried to resolve, takes forever to get through to ********** really do not listen to reason for cancellation. They just repeat, you signed contract, $199 cancellation fee is valid. Tried numerous times to resolve. On my one call I asked to speak to a manager & was told they were & that I need to stop yelling. I was loud from frustration & never swore, but she hung up on me, but not before yelling $199 fee is not being waived. Final attempt I told C/S that there were 2 places where my initials were typed & that I would never initial like that, was told it is because it was an electronic document, but yet they have my signature? Finally told rep I am going to BBB & stated ok and hung up. I thought issue was finally resolved, but they continue to harass me for $199 payment.Hawx Services, LLC
