      I received our first service from ***************************** of Hawx today. He was prompt, professional, and courteous, and he answered all the questions I had about where and why each product was to be applied. He was quick and careful dealing with our interior areas. ******* provided detailed records of the service, including photographs. I am getting a good deal from Hawx whereby the substantial installation fee for termite prevention was waived given a one year commitment.

      We were looking for a reliable Pest Control company as an alternative to our existing provider whose monthly rates have been going up. Hawx presented themselves as reliable and was SUPPOSED to be less expensive for the SAME services. However, THEY LIED! We were promised monthly services by the sales rep. **** did NOT provide a paper contract, they emailed it, and, while specifically told NOT to send e-mail bills they have done so anyway. While we were sold monthly services, and they have been billing our credit card monthly, the contract is for QUARTERLY service. This makes them FAR more expensive than alternate providers. PLUS, they are charging a cancellation fee on top of monthly fees for no service! We are out $249.00 for ONE service in three months!Ignore what the salespeople tell you, DO NOT SIGN THE CONTRACT TILL YOU READ IT 3 OR 4 TIMES to find all the hidden gotchas. No wonder they push and dont have a paper contract for you!I cannot warn anyone strongly enough, DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!

      I wish I would've came to the BBB website before agreeing to their service. I've unfortunately had a very similar experience - a slick talking *********** person caught me at a bad time and I agreed to the service without reading the "fine print". I was told I was getting a monthly service for $39/mo only to find out its a quarterly service and they just bill me monthly. My second installment came out without the monthly service I was expecting, so I called to cancel and was charged an additional $211 fee to cancel (I was told that was for the initial $39 I paid and the $211 was the difference in the $250 in fees I agreed to). They then pulled another $39 from my credit card...I called back the next day to get a refund on that additional $39 and was given the run around by the representative on the phone. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they're busy and I would get a call back within ***** hours...needless to say that was three days ago now. Buyer beware.

      Salesman came to us telling me they were having a neighborhood special because someone else signed up. I was told 99 for the summer. I had two charges that added to the 99 and thought that was it. However I am to pay 99 a month for two services for 12 months. Including the winter? So far the ants are not in control, they only knocked down a wasp nest and the yard is full of mosquitos. I was told to call them for more treatments if I needed more. With the price I would think the product would work. The last tech told me not much can be done for the ants. They like moisture and tried to blame it on a leak we had fixed. I feel very mislead by the iPad contract. I thought it was a special one time fee. Not 12 months. Why would anyone need it in the winter. Now to cancel they want cancelation fees. Very misleading for a "special ". We had just moved in and thought it was a good deal.

      I was a customer for 4 years (2018) until today 7/28/2022. Almost every time they sprayed, I called them to spray again because they couldnt get rid of the spiders. I tried to cancel in that first year but the cancellation fees were too high & I gave them a pass because they said they used organic products. The last time they sprayed, the gentleman told me honestly theres nothing they can do for spiders. I paid the $100/quarterly fee faithfully. I called on 7/14 or 7/15 to cancel because their product was ineffective for my needs. The person I spoke to never processed my account. A rep showed up & I had to turn him away. He said that was his 2nd such issue for the day with dispatch not letting him know. I apologized to ******** left. Today I noticed a $49.99 charge on my account that I was billed for on 7/14. I called and they told me my account was not cancelled. ***** in billing then told me I was sent notification that they would start charging a monthly fee of $49.99 & I was supposed to opt out by June 28th. She said they cant reimburse me as a result. 4 years of dealing with a subpar product. 4 years of dealing with hit or miss customer service. For that, I expected understanding and to get my $50 back. I will never recommend this company to anyone. Do better hawx. Be better hawx.

      A salesman approached my house and knocked loud like 7 times. I answered the door and told him my son was sleeping and how I didnt appreciate him knocking so loud because my son was asleep. He said you shouldve answered the first time I knocked then I told him Im not interested and he said what do you mean? Your house is covered in poisonous cocoons I told him Im not Interested and he kept being awfully rude. This was highly unprofessional the way he spoke to me .

      They lie and mislead you, the guy that sold me the service told me I would be charged a set amount every 90 days when they came out but in reality they charge you that set amount every month

      Very shady business practices. Salesmen came to our home to offer their services. My mother is elderly and English is not her first language. Salesmen offers 1 time service for $40 and gets her to sign papers. Since it is a 1-time service, we offer a check rather than a credit card. Next thing we know, we're locked into a 1-year contract and they are charging her checking account. No translator, no attempt at explanation. I've called their customer service and after about 4 hours, they finally had a manager speak to me and firmly says, she signed so we must pay a $200 cancellation fee. I understand the law is on their side but ethically, many of their employees on the phone agreed with me that what was done was unfair. My neighborhood is mostly non-English speaking. I can only imagine how many have been tricked into these deals. Their salesmen, whom Hawx claims are new and some are untrained, yet Hawx takes NO responsibility for their actions, will say anything to get you to sign. I'm sure their bug treatment is fine, but this company has no ethics or morals and their customer service cannot get anything done to help. Be VERY careful dealing with this company.

      These guys were super convenient because we were already in need of this service, and don't really have time to seek out this kind of service, so when they knocked on our door it was awesome! The guy that came by to help with the rodent problem, *****************************, was super informative, quick, thorough, and pleasant to interact with. I will be recommending this service to my friends and family! I also really like how they move around with you when you change residences. the price is very fair for their service, and they also sprayed us for wasps!

      A sale rep came by my house with a promotion for ants and spiders and flies. it would cost 45$ a month the initial service charge would be waived it was for 12 months. he told me they would send me a email on my next service with in 30 days the only thing i payed for was the 45$ for what they did that day. i gave the sales rep ********************* my atm card he ran the card and said were all good i need you to sign my i pad for your receipt so i did about 4 hours later i got a receipt and a contract at no time did he show me a contract until i got a email from him. so i waited for the next month i see 45$ is taken out of my account and no service has been done. i called their main office on 7/25/22 and told them i have ring at my house and no one serviced my house that's when i got the bomb shell that it is done quarterly that is not what i was told by ****** their sales rep. my wife and my self are elderly and feel we have been taken advantage of . we got scammed extremely unethical and misrepresented by this company . at this time i cancelled my contract. account ****** at that time a young lady called me and said there would be a 205$ charge for closing the account she already took it from my account before she even called me back . i was lied to and cheated by this company what a way to conduct a business. there is a better way of making money than lying and stealing from innocent people.
