We hired them to control roaches and told them at the beginning we had German roaches We signed up for a contract to rid roaches but when they came out a second time they said German roaches are not covered by the original contract They then emailed us an updated quote for German roaches and the price was $450 When I called to ask questions about the coverage the manager said they wouldnt recognize the quote as it was too low I pointed out I had a written quote from them and he said it didnt matter he wouldnt recognize a quote from his own company Is that even legal? I wouldnt trust them to come out now even if they offered to honor the quote I would get out of existing contract if I could since it didnt solve the problem we hired them for Live and learn

HAWX is a scam stay away, I was advised I had to pay $39.99 cause someone in the area bought their $200 service and I could cancel anytime. I did not sign or initial any documents but now they are changing $210 to cancel something I did not orderHawx Services, LLC

1 starI felt I was scammed by this company. The door to door sales *******************, which was super nice and professional, lied in order to get me to sign a 12 month contract. I informed him I currently had a 12 month contract with UrbanX which I was about 3-4 months in at this point. He said they would offer to do more for about the same amount of money plus right now they were currently offering to cover any cancellations fees if I was to switch. That to me was a no brainer otherwise I was just going to stick with my current contract. He scheduled a service the next day since he said that he had a truck in the area the next day taking care of some of my neighbors. I call the same day they came to do the service to discuss how they were going to take care of the cancellation fees but I was unsuccessful in getting someone on the phone. Originally someone answered I told them what I was calling for and he transferred me at which point it kept hanging up on me. I tried about 4 times calling back but no one ever answered my call. I then sent an email explaining the same issue and that I had not been able to get in contact with anyone. I received an automatic email that someone would reach out to me but never heard back. I finally called the 855 number and I was able to get someone they transferred me 3 times and finally I spoke to someone who then told me that they do not offer covering cancellation fees and does not know why the sales guy would say that. I told her that is the only reason I signed up and that I did not want to be stuck with 2 contracts for her to only say there is nothing she can do the only was would be to cancel and pay the cancellation fees. I have only had this contract with them for 10 days. I was hoping that I had the ring footage of the conversations but it only recorded 30 seconds of conversation and it is not on there unfortunately. She said if I did have it they could help but otherwise no. This is absolute BS because now I am stuck with 2 contracts.Review fromReid S

1 starI was told by the salesman that this was a one time treatment to be paid over three payments of $45.99. Now they are claiming it was a 12 month contract to be paid $45.99 per month for the 12 months. Deceptive marketing was well on display here. Now they want $204.00 to cancel the contract. 1 starThe first year of my contract with Hawx, they abided by the terms of the contract. I was billed quarterly as agreed. After the contract ended, they auto-billed me for an increased amount without my consent or knowledge. They started auto-billing and deducted from my credit card the very next month without even speaking to, or communication from me. When I called them, their supposed billing manager was rude, unprofessional, arrogant, and would not be reasonable at all. I would NOT recommend them.Review fromKimberly W

1 starA Hawx employee came to my door and asked if I was interested in having my yard exterminated. I said yes. He told me it would cost me $39.99 for the service. I answered that I was interested in a one-time service. I was told that I would have to ok 4 treatments on a quarterly basis at a cost of $39.99 per treatment. I said that would be fine. I gave him my credit card information. He proceeded to only remove the wolf spider webs from my back yard house siding and then left. It took him less than 5 minutes. No other treatment was seen. Now I find out that he signed me up for a contract to **** me monthly for $39.99. I tried to cancel the service, but was told that I had signed a contract and it would cost me $210 to cancel. I did not sign a contract. I was told that he would sign for me. I thought I was just okaying the one charge, not a contract. I immediately had to cancel my credit card to stop the unwanted fraudulent charges. This is a total scam.Review fromShawn W

1 starAdd me to the list. I wish I would have read these reviews before I signed the agreement. I knew I was getting a very polished sales job when their salesperson came to the door. I too did not understand from the verbal sales pitch that there was a $50 per month charge. Going back, I do see that it was in the written agreement. As soon as I was charged the first $50 monthly fee, I called to cancel. I also understood that there would be a $150 cancellation fee. Acknowledging that I was partially at fault for not completely reading the written agreement, I asked that they at least apply that first $50 payment to the $150 cancellation fee. They said they "couldn't". From other responses here, I see that they can if you publicly call them out. I wish I could warn more people.Review fromMinerva P
