They deserve zero stars. In early August, one of their sales representatives came to my door and persuaded me to sign up for their service, assuring me it could be canceled at any time without any fees. Trusting him, I signed the agreement on his tablet. A few days later, Hawx performed their first service. The service person was there for barely 15 minutes, and I saw no noticeable improvementcobwebs returned, spiders were still entering the garage, and small insects continued to come into the ******** early September, I contacted them with my concerns. They sent someone back for a warranty service, but it still didnt work. I asked them to cancel the service, but instead, they offered another warranty service and an extra free month (Im giving them one star just for that attempt). However, the issues persisted, so I requested again to cancel. Now theyve charged me $199.00 as a cancellation feedespite their failure to deliver effective service.Their agreement says that termination fee is applicable if customer terminates the agreement without legal excuse (e,g. **** is in default or breach of Agreement, or **** failed to provide service). In my case, **** failed to provide service and hence termination charges should not be applicable. I see many of their customers have raised similar complains. But they haven't changed their bad business practices.

We had initially switched from our original pest control provided because we liked the agricultural license that could treat vegetable gardens. When we signed up, we were ensured that rodent control was a part of our contract because that was a big part of why we had a pest control provider in the first place. Our first two services were fine, though it did not seem that they did anything different for the garden area. Then we had a new technical come and when we discussed where the rodent traps were, he said that rodent control was not actually part of our contract. We decided to end the service, and called to cancel. Because they charge monthly, but visit quarterly we had to time the cancelation with getting the full amount of money's worth. When we called in September to cancel, they hung up on us twice because of technical issues with their phones. They called us back, said we would not be charged anymore and had a verbal confirmation that we had canceled. We were not charged in September or October. Then November, a regular charge came through. Upon following up, their customer service let us know that the service was not actually canceled and the month they just charged us for was not refundable even though we had verbal confirmation in September and no charges since August. This feels like bate and switch - "Oops we charged you - you aren't canceled and we won't refund you. Do you want finish the quarter to get a service?" We've had to file a dispute with our bank to get the money back from a service we had told was canceled two months ago.Hawx Services, LLC

**** was to provide quarterly pest management services at my home in return for monthly payments. **** has been debiting my account and not providing the quarterly services. There was never a contract or any cancellation fees. When I contacted **** and requested cancellation I was met with severe opposition and was even threatened with a cancellation fee if I cancelled. I was contradicted about providing a reason (I told the representative that my property was not being serviced), and was still met with severeand aggressive opposition and threat of debiting my account for $210. cancellation fee. Please check your cameras for dates of your service because they are not servicing your property every quarter like they are supposed to.Hawx Services, LLC

0 ? CON ARTISTS....RUN!The sales person told me they were doing a promotion for a one time service of $50. He said try it out today and see if you like it. I agreed. He called another guy who came by to spray, took my card info, and had me sign for the service rendered. What I didn't know, he had me sign a 1 year contract. I received emails thinking they were advertisements, so I skipped them, until I saw a bill for $195!! I called explaining the situation and told them I wanted to cancel service, because I was lied to by the sales guy. The lady I spoke to was rude. I told her services were not rendered, I should not be charged and the account needed to be cancelled. She told me I could pay a $200 cancellation fee, but would also have to pay the remaining balance in order to cancel. I refused. 2 days after the call I received an email with an additional $60+ more added to the balance. Crooks! Poor customer service and illegal business practices. 2 1/2 years of continuous service on my automatic payment plan that all of a sudden abruptly stops where I was not notified until I called to inquire. Comes to find out one of the worker's within Hawx didn't like my tenant and purported ridiculous findings as a means to cancel and avoid servicing my unit. I gave ***** and restored the service and scheduled service - and awaited the 4 hour window - all to my surprise of a no show, where I later learned I was canceled again, withot notice. Fool me once, shame on you, ... Fool me twice, no more ***** other than exposing you for what you are(which is Trifling).Hawx Services, LLC

This company is a scam. A guy came to my house and after repeatedly telling him I was all set with another pest control company, he insisted on doing a service for only $50 to show me what great work they do and how much surface area they cover. Well it turns out that one $50 service somehow turned into a 1 year contract that I didn't agree to. In addition, I called after the first treatment within a week, because I had more bugs than before. They had the nerve to charge me for this "in between " service that they stated was originally free. Tried canceling twice and the 2nd call, they finally sent a note saying they'll cancel but at a $400 charge. I'm beyond annoyed and will be filing a complaint.Hawx Services, LLC

On Saturday, July 13, 2024, a representative of the **** company approached me when I was leaving my house, offering me the fumigation service, I told him several times that I was not interested in the fumigation service, that he should leave me his phone number, that I would call him later, the representative of the company insisted so much that he told me I offer you the fumigation of only this day, and if it gives you results, call us to subscribe to the service, I told him that I was only going to pay him for the service of that day, I told him I am going to pay him in cash, but the representative told me that he did not accept cash, he told me that I had to pay with a credit card and I had to sign the payment for that day, when doing this, I was deceived because when signing that payment he made me sign the fumigation contract for a year, because several times I told him that I did not want and that I was not interested in subscribing to any fumigation service for a year. I would stay away from **** and any other company that wants to trick you into billing.Hawx Services, LLC

I signed up for pest control services with **** in early 2022 and was initially very satisfied. The technician assigned to me was thorough, professional, and responsive. When I moved to a new home, I decided to continue using their services. I was contacted by a representative who offered a promotional price, a $50 credit, and an additional $50 gift card for any referrals. I agreed to sign up again and referred my sister.However, after 45 days, I had not received the $50 credit or the promised gift card. Despite multiple calls to customer service, I was told repeatedly that "the card is in the mail" and that the process would take two months, which seemed unusually long. Frustrated, I removed my account from auto-pay until the situation was resolved. Eventually, the $50 credit was applied, but the gift card was never sent, and I continued to be given the runaround.Additionally, I specifically requested the same technician I had previously, but without any communication, a different person was sent to service my home. My concerns about wasps were ignored during the service, and the quality of the pest control was not up to the standard I had experienced before.I have also made multiple attempts to escalate my concerns by requesting to speak with a manager or director. On several occasions, I was either placed on hold for extended periods or hung up on, which has only added to my frustration. The unprofessionalism and lack of accountability from the customer service team have been deeply disappointing. After repeated failed promises and lackluster service, I will be canceling my account and seeking another provider that can deliver on their offers and provide reliable service.Hawx Services, LLC

*************. They have children riding around on ****** boards who come banging on your doors like the cops. Give them a chance to give you their schpill and tell you what they offer like nice folks do. Agree to their services because it sounds decent and you're tired of doing the work yourself. Sign up for the services and get LIED to directly to your face about canceling early or scheduling times for them to come out to do their job. They will "treat" your yard and home on that initial sign up day, sure, BUT, they wont spray half of the areas they claimed they would so youll have to ask them to go back and spray where they skipped. You WILL be charged a 200$ cancelation fee but you won't find that out until after you've signed their agreements. You will be charged monthly and they WILL try to extend your services by claiming you didn't start them until 3-4 months After you signed up. I have tried scheduling another treatment only to be told that there are no days or times available for the next month and then the calendar is completely crossed out after that. This company is a disgrace and they should all be ashamed of themselves. I'm sure there are some good honest people who work for them but the remainder are not. I would never recommend this company to anyone and I'm honestly not sure how they are still in business at this point!Hawx Services, LLC

NEVER sign anything with this company. They will tell you one thing and have you sign something else. They don't control pests or clean cobwebs as they stated. When you realize how awful they are and try to leave, they treat you poorly and try to charge a cancellation fee. They are constantly throwing this contract in my face that was signed under false pretenses. I am back with my original pest control company and very happy with them. BUT I am being harrassed by **** to pay this cancellation fee that was never mentioned to me. They are a fraud and I am not at all suprised that they have a low BBB score. Avoid them, they do not care about you or your pest control needs.Hawx Services, LLC
