At the beginning of the 2024 summer I requested service for a flea/ant infestation in my yard and the representative (****** ******) for **** agreed (with witnesses) to a 4 month payment plan which would be canceled after the 4 month period without incurring a cancellation fee of $199.00. I recently called to cancel the 4 month subscription and the management had no idea of the cancellation fee being waived and subsequently charged my debit card the $199.00 fee without my authorization. They also cancelled the subscription without authorization for fear I suspect they would not be able to charge the cancellation fee at a later date. This company is not trustworthy and apparently their **** are either not properly vetted or poorly investigated prior to allowing them to speak for them. I would hope that the BBB would thoroughly investigate these people and have them cease and desist these business practices

Total bait and switch. When I signed up last month, I told the sales team my only concern was voles in our yard. They assured me that they would take care of them if I signed up and added on the rodent service, which I did. They put out a bait box but we have been seeing lots of voles the past week so I called them to come out for a treatment. I was informed that they "no longer treat for voles". What?! I then tried to cancel my account, assuming I would not be responsible for paying the hundreds of dollars to cancel the service agreement early since they are no longer fulfilling their end of the agreement. ****. The technicians and office staff were very professional. I am charged a monthly fee for pest control service. I pay the montly fee regularly. I did sign a contract. My concern is that the technicians weren't solving my problem so I had to go with another company. **** charged me close to $400.00 for breaking the contract. If **** had solved my pest control problem, I would not have broken the contract. I believe I should be reimbursed.Review fromSYLVIA ANN G

My experience started June 2023, One year. When I was home, they would text me to set an appointment. Everything went well. Then I started to work and called their office in ********** and needed to have service on Saturday, their office said SURE. Then I would get a text they needed to change appointment for a weekday. I called their office on 10-11-24, told the women in office I was working, and nobody would be home. The woman was sarcastic and didn't care what my situation was by her answers to me. So, I told her to cancel my services. She didn't care to keep me, (that is bad for business) I like to say, that the gentlemen who sprayed my property did a great job, too bad their office has some lazy and inconsiderate manners.Hawx Services, LLC

If I could give zero stars I would. The salesman came to my door and told me they were local and that the startup cost would be free. Both of these turned out to be a lie. Then after I agreed to sign up he had his ***** come set me up. Then I found out Id have to pay and the salesman would come pack and reimburse me for my expense. A week later I still hadnt received my money back. So I sent an email into customer service and told them of the situation and that I wanted cancelled. They asked for photos of the texts and the salesman which I gave them which I sent them. A month later theyre calling me daily asking for payment on the cancellation fee and for the second month so i told them of the emails which they pulled up and said my account wasnt closed until a month after my initial email. I have since talked to these people eight different times to remove the charges which they wont do. Ive asked for a manager which they wont do. Im not paying a company that is so deceitful.Review fromEd S

My landlord previously paid for pest control services with a different company. We had them for over three years and had no problems. When she cancelled we immediately called Hawx because they had been to our house in the last week and I spoke with someone and they gave me their card. They came out the next day. We did not have any interruption in service between companies. Since having **** come out we have had an influx in bugs both outside and inside. Within the 2 months we had them we had them out several times. The issues just kept getting worse. The bugs are so bad we not have ground moles completely tearing the yard apart and racoons that dig up the yard at night. We have called for service in between our monthly appointments. Nothing they did helped and only made it worse. I called to cancel and the woman I spoke with was tried multiple times to reduce the payment. I just needed to cancel. Then they charged me $200 for a cancelation fee even though my complaints were specific to them and their products and service. She kept trying to tell me that it was because the products bring the bugs out from hiding but this doesn't work in this case when there was no break in service. Hawk pest control is a hoax, they arent a good company to rely on and get any kind of services from them, irresponsible behavior, irresponsible employees, dont give them your credit card, I had a very bad experience. If you pay once theyll sign you up for 12 months. They are very convincing liarsHawx Services, LLC

Buyer Beware!!!! This company intentionally lies to you and signs you up for longer service than requested than threatens you with a $200 early cancelation fee. These same crooked salesman also threatened an elderly neighbor of mine with violence when asked to leave. This company is 100% fraudulent, BEWARE!!!!!!!Hawx Services, LLC

Ive had an incredibly frustrating experience with Hawx Pest Control, and I want to warn others before they encounter similar issues. I switched to Hawx from another pest control company after being promised a discounted quarterly service rate of $80.99. However, after signing the contract, I was billed monthly instead of quarterly. My attempts to resolve this with the technician who signed me up were ignored, and after hours on the phone with their office, they eventually issued a $180 credit to correct the billing error.However, a week later, I found out that Hawx does not treat the primary pest issue I initially signed up for (gnats), despite their technician explicitly promising that they would address this issue. When I tried to cancel their service, I was charged a $199 cancellation feeeven though I had a $180 credit on my account and their service did not address my main pest problem.Additionally, Ive noticed that Hawx uses the names of other neighbors (and Im concerned they are now using mine) to convince new customers to sign up. This feels deceptive and creates a false sense of trust in the community.Overall, this company has been dishonest, misleading, and incredibly difficult to deal with. I strongly urge the BBB to investigate Hawx Pest Control for their deceptive business practices that seem designed to take advantage of customers.Hawx Services, LLC
