      I signed up over 2 years ago and my system has not one time worked. They will not come fix it or send out new equipment, they told me the only way to get out of my non working contract is have someone take over my non working equipment. For over 2 years I have been paying and now I canceled payment after trying for over 2 years yo get help with it, now they are treating to put it on my credit report in 2 weeks. This was a life and death situation that I had this service as someone was getting out of prison that was a extreme threat to our family. This is the worst scam ever. Please do NOT give these people your money. I do not want to even give them 1 star, it's only because I had to

      They're canceling of contracts isn't going to work for me because, the system wasn't installed, or even out the box it came in. Husband passed away. And son wants me to move near him. The time of receiving the box and now is only under 4 mos. Called andcthey want me to buy out contract of 3 yrs. Only have my social security and pension lost income from husband. Was hoping the system could be returned. But no. Plus they've taken payments from my bank acct.for 4 mos. This a ****** learned.

      SCAMMER I literally got their equipment just before the hurricane and then I had to evacuate. Then they had the nerve to charge me about $45 for absolutely nothing. I sent them there equipment back in top condition (didnt even break the seal on the box) and with the initial payment to get started they owe me about $85. They said they had to charge me a restocking fee and did not even bother waving it due to the hurricane and all. So all in all THESE PEOPLE ARE HIGHLY AND EXTREMELY FRAUDULENT. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS TAKING YOUR MONEY AND NOTHING MORE. In my home $85.00 can do a lot especially for a single mom with 2 children.

      They get a negative 1 star.This company is a scammer company. They prey on senior citizens and sick people. We move my elderly sick dad out of his house in 2019. On March 2, 2022 we boarded the house had all utilities disconnected & moved my dad to TN. This company is still trying to charge my father for service that he is not getting. I have emailed and called requesting that the services be cancelled/disconnected. Alder refuses to cancell his services. We need to file a class action lawsuit against this company.

      This company is worthless..I have been trying to get our alarm repaired since the middle of September and the technician never showed up and no phone call from this company. I was on the phone over 2 hours this morning and finally got a technician to come out in November, been without an alarm since September. The customer service is beyond horrible,, cant get out of this contract,for whoever reads this and you sign a contract with this company, youre in for a horrible ride.

      They took advantage of my elderly mother! I am trying to cancel her service with these horrible people who scammed her into a 5 year contract! I am reporting them to BBB! There is no way she would sign a 5 year contract with a security system that only offers a monitor and crappy cameras . Do not get with them! They will scam you!

      I have called several times about my alarm not working and has been lied to when a technician can come to my address to fix it and constantly lied to over and over again I work everyday when you call them you are on hold for a long period of time their customer service *****.

      The sales Rep took advantage of me. Very well trained in manipulation and very pushy tactics. They make sure, to say the least, possible regarding the fact that you are signing a 5-year contract that auto-renews without warning. The sales rep made sure to say 60 months instead of 5 years and when they say it, they make it sound like 6 months. They talk very fast and are only concerned with making the commission. Suppose you try to get out of the contract once you realize the mistake you made. You either have to transfer the service to someone who agrees or pay the contract off in full. On top of all that, my equipment does not work properly. The sensors will not connect to the panel and the service techs are never available to come out. SimpliSafe is a far better company and would have gone for them if I could.Spectrum recommended me to Alder when I was setting up my internet. My mistake for taking their word. At the end of this year, I am gonna bite the bullet and pay off my contract in full to get away from this horrible company.

      I will keep this long story short. First time I got in contact with Alder Security, it was referred to by *** internet service claiming they were in partnership with them. At least *** is a good company I'm impressed with their wifi, but Alder is a scamming lying company with cheap security equipment. As I'm in contact with them, I'm letting them know the settings of doors and windows in my apartment so they can send me the right equipment. I was charged 90 dollars for it. I was given one camera, a gas alarm, and a touch screen monitor (that doesn't work). They sent a technician over for free because it was their deal of a "first month free technician assistance" until my equipment is perfectly set up. The technician arrives after my first move in. He was able to hook up my camera and help me set my account on their Alder security app in my phone so I can view what my camera is capable of. He wasn't able to set up my gas alarm that Detects CO2 because my apartment installed smoke alarm was in the way around the best set up area. He noticed my touch screen monitor couldn't activate at all. He recommended I contact Alder about it to receive a new one. When I got in contact with them, they rather they go through steps with me to figure out to get it to work, it wasn't successful. And for months they weren't able to send me a new monitor. The camera I have from them is decent but pointless if have no monitor to connect to it for alarming a break in threat. I finally call them to cancel their services since it's a waist of money when their equipment can't alert crimes. I tell them I'm moving out my apartment soon and won't need their services, also their equipment is useless. They tell me I'm on a 5 year contract I was unaware of signing electronically, therefore a cancelation fee is involved costing me over $2,000. It's a greedy scam they got Me trapped in with cheap security equipment, and this contract wasn't discussed after just paying for equipment.

      Anyone considering this company run the otherwise as fast as you can. I've had this system now 4 1/2 years. From day one has been nothing but problems. Detectors fail, you call to replace them, told would have them in **************** transit. Call again 21 days later they arrive. Main panel fails they say new one arrive in 10 days. Then call an told company would send tech to install. 90 days later no tech. Finally called me after 120 days saying tech was in area. Was replaced. With in 12 hours system failed. 1 week later all Detectors failed. Tried canceling contract . But no, have to pay remainder of contract. Even tho there product failed for almost 6 month of no service. 6 MORE payments and will be out from under there thumb. Again due your homework before considering this company
