      0 stars if I could. I have been a member since 2017 and have seen it just go completely down hill and I'm talking all locations. ******** and Federal are my most convenient locations and are probably the worst. The locker rooms are FILTHY, I have never seen the bathrooms clean like EVER. They charge you this yearly maintenance fee and guess what most of all the machines are out of order? WTF are we paying for? Stair masters steps are caved in. Its disgusting I have been contemplating switching gyms for years now because of pricing but you really don't even get what you pay for here. It is a waste of money sometimes you can't even workout of how packed it is. I have tried at every time of the day believe me. My purse has been stolen, headphones everything. There always homeless people in the front making me feel super unsafe. All the managers are crooks, can't speak to anybody decent to get anything resolved. I need help cancelling my membership and I demand a refund for the yearly maintenance. I just paid that only to go to the Federal location THAT HAS NO WATER????? Can't even use the bathroom??? and guess what? Can't get anybody on the phone :)

I apologize that this has been your experience and would be happy to look into these issues for you so they can be addressed. The yearly membership fee is a Rate Guarantee Fee, not a maintenance fee. Although the meaning for this fee is for something else, that is no excuse for maintenance issues to not be addressed. We are unable to refund that Rate Guarantee Fee, but I have gone ahead and posted a one month credit to your account as a resolve. Your next bill date will be 11/20/23.

      The sauna and steam room havent worked for over a month now. Ive complained multiple times with no resolution. Changing gyms to a gym that actually has amenities that work.

      Dishonest company. They make it easy to join, and difficult to quit. By the time I finally got this resolved, I had been charged more than $200 extra. We contacted them several times, in person, on-line, and phone support. None of them resolved the problem with a single contact. They also use Paramount as their billing signature, which I thought was one of our streaming services. They should list it as VASA fitness. Find any other gym.

      The first day I joined this gym I was stolen at the locker in this gym. They didn't move a finger to help. They had video and footage and over exactly who the person was. I was told by the lead and the employees right after and the next day I went there again to follow up and see the footage and the manager ******* said they had sent it to the police. He also said the person doesn't belong to the gym contradicting all the other employees. Also if they don't belong to the gym what are they doing in women locker ,? The truth is he was probably trying to cover something or someone and lying about having sent the footage. The police doesn't have it. The next time we went in with my daughter to follow up since the cops didn't have the footage ******* didn't even bother to come out of the office to assist us but let a new lead talk in his behalf. This is a shady gym with shady management. Stay away they let criminals get away with robbery and do nothing but cover. I was stolen lots from my car including money and belongings plus documents too. This gym is the worsw

It is possible that the individual was using a guest pass, so they were not actually a member or the gym. We do follow precise rules and regulations when it comes to providing footage. `We do require a subpoena to release footage.

      I have been a member at Vasa fitness for roughly a year today and had to pay them $90 to cancel. Not to mention the laberynthine process to even be given the option. Do not join this gym, their billing practices are outdated and quite frankly feel criminal. They will refute all of this by saying it was in the contract, but just know, that contract gives them consent to choke your open neck. They are monsters who will bilk every last dollar they can from you. But it's okay that they are absolute dirtbags. It's all in the contract after all. They will corner and hard sell you during your "free" gym trial, using shiny diamond smiled cultists, and guilt/shame you into signing this deal with the devil. A year later you will be paying over $100 to end it. So be warned. They are awful, awful people.

Our intention is to be honest and transparent and I apologize if that was not the case for you. Our policy is that any payments set to draft within 30 days of request to cancel are owed. The Rate Guarantee Fee was owed on your membership in the next 30 days, which is why your bill required to cancel was that high. As a resolve, I have refunded the Rate Guarantee Fee back to your billing on file.

      Before I signed up with the membership I asked multiple times to the sales rep that I only wanted one membership and to wanted to add my fianc to my membership. He said that I would only pay for one but this was a completely scam, the months went through and I received the notice for my first payment up coming for $67.00 and I was cool because that was what we agree, but then I received another email saying that I would be charge another $67.00 for her membership, I went to talk to the gym and try to get an explanation, and another rep told me that everything was fine that email probably was a mistake because she was under my account and this was totally lied. I was charge twice for the 67 dollars and I called you customer ********************** who was really rude with me and laughing at me because I fell under your scam and that he wont help because he know that I dont. Have anything wrote saying that and you guys do. Now Im getting charge for 2 accounts and if u wasnt to cancel I need to pay around $80.00 to get out of this membership. This is a complete scam and you guys are stealing peoples money.

      Hello,I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused! Our membership agreement does outline all policies and fees regarding cancellation. Any payments past due as well as any payments set to draft within 30 days of request to cancel are owed. There is also a $25 cancellation fee if cancelling within the first 6 months.

      This company needs to be really honest in what they are doing with the gym contracts. I signed up with Vasa Fitness. Tried the gym for a few days but didn't like it. I was told that I could cancel at any time through the application with no extra charges. I did this. However, I was still charged a membership fee of *****. When I called Paramount, the customer ********************** rep said it was not canceled. My ask was "Is the app not a way to cancel?" She said no, you have to cancel with me for another $*****. My card was already charged *****, and on top of that, you're getting charged another *****. This seems to be a bit of a rip-off to the customer. I would never recommend anyone to join this gym. It is difficult to cancel with this company. If you can't try the gym for a pass, it's not worth your time or money.

Any payments set to draft within 30 days of request to cancel are owed. There is also a $25 cancellation fee if cancelling within the first 6 months. It looks like your membership is still active.       I moved out of state and submitted my lease per the cancellation policy I should do so and pay 100 dollars to cancel plan I contacted the member service told them I moved way in March and if I could make payments plans for amount owed then and they were rude didnt want to help so then I just got email 5 months ago hat they were sending it to collections I send them my lease proving I moved back in Feb which is what I told them in ************ still charged my account . N told me they approved my document but will not cancel the member ship and I couldnt speak with manager over the phone ! This is ridiculous I will not recommend this gym to any one ! Very rude and unprofessional lets not forget to mention paying for services without the pool even being open when I did enroll this is a joke !!!!!! I will be going to the furthest extent to get this handled !!!!!!!!!

It looks like you had a past due balance on your membership when you originally requested to cancel, and the balance was never paid so the membership did not cancel out. The membership agreement does state that you need to be up to date on payments in order to cancel.

      IF I COULD PUT ZERO STARS I WOULD! I just got the membership and less than 30 days in cancelled because I just dont have the time to make it. One free month and still couldnt make it once. I cancelled and accidentally deleted my cancellation email, and the lady told me it didnt cancel and Id have to pay $200 to cancel! I had my bank block all charges. Gyms are nice but their service and membership is garbage!!

The membership agreement does state that we need a written request to cancel. Unfortunately, I am not seeing that we have proof of a prior request. I have waived the $25 return fee but the remaining balance of $65.98 would be owed to cancel.
