      Over a year ago, maybe even 2, I called and canceled my plan for ****. Didnt think anything of it. Recently, I got a new phone and have been getting texts from someone claiming to be **** payment saying I owe them money. Come to find out, the phone call I made when I canceled conveniently wasnt noted and my account was never canceled. Theyve been charging me every month and it I didnt know. My wife tried to get online and figure things out but they conveniently couldnt cancel with a balance so she tried to call but the phone system wouldnt let her pay either-convenient. Right? Then she sat on hold, and again, I their system conveniently hung up on her over and over again. Avoid them at all costs. Theyll scam you somehow.

      I apologize for any inconvenience. I do see a membership that was canceled in 2020. Another membership was created in 2021. It does look like we attempted to contact you regarding the past-due balance. The membership agreement does state that we need a written request to cancel. Unfortunately, since we do not have proof of a prior written request to cancel, we are unable to refund any previous payments.

      In January of 2023 the parking lot at the Cheyenne Mountain location was so packed there were cars in the parked in the fire lanes EVERY Monday night I attended the 5:30 group fitness class. I told the front desk staff I was concerned that the fire lanes were blocked. The only thing the front desk attendant told me Vasa staff had no control over where people park and nothing was done to amend the safety violation. The gym was packed during these times and the safety of each gym member as well as the staff was never taken into consideration. I witnessed a gentleman collapse from a heart attack in one of the group fitness classes at that gym and the EMTs were called. I feel it is a serious safety violation for VASA to allow their customers to park in the areas designated for emergency vehicles only.

      We completely agree that cars should not be parked in spots for emergency vehicles only. This has been communicated to our members that they should not be parking there and will be towed. We appreciate your concern regarding this!

      My husband and son set up an account last year. My husband emailed in July of 2022 to stop both personal trainings and they only stopped my husbands and then continued to charge by son that is a minor. Once the error was caught we emailed them immediately and they will not refund their error as we clearly never used their service and emailed them to cancel last year.

Unfortunately, we do not have proof of a prior written request to cancel Will's Personal Training, only your husband's. The Personal Training has been cancelled but we are unable to refund any previous payments.

      This is absolutely not true, you have written proof from my husband twice stating to stop both accounts. There are only 2 accounts and my son is a minor. The lack of anyone trying to help us is so frustrating and wrong. You can see our son never used the personal training and should have been cancelled for both accounts or at least corrected when we brought it your attention.

      Vasa sent my son to collections AND took his payment. I have documentation that he paid his account (hes 17 years old and got 3 months behind). I have a picture of vasas own computer screen showing that he had paid the balance yet they sent him to collections anyway.

      Wvasa is the WORST. Don't even try to get a membership. How does it make sense that they make you pay a price guarantee plus the next month's membership plus the cancelation fee when you cancel? Don't even think or consider ****. Also their customer support is basically non-existent. I called, was put on hold for the longest time, then they hung up on me supposedly to call me back. I was watching my phone the entire time. Then all of a sudden I received a "missed call" literally no ring or anything but I got a missed call from their customer support telling me to call them back if I still need help. I did and it just became a cycle. Don't even consider this business. And I will continue this review and advise to everyone I know.

      Hello,I sincerely apologize for your negative experience with VASA Fitness and our Member Services team. We never intend for members to feel as though they cannot get assistance. The cancellation terms are outlined in your signed membership agreement. This states that any payments set to draft within 30 days of a cancellation request are owed. There is also a $25 cancellation fee if canceling within the first 6 months.

      I joined Vasa because it had a location close to my home. I'm always looking for a place to bring my son and his friends to play basketball. I coach Football and Basketball in ******* ******** and we are constantly looking for new workout facilities.The pick up games were unsupervised, kids were all over the court during games, shooting and running. It's definitely a huge injury waiting to happen. I'd be very surprised if they haven't had a plethora of serious injuries in that gym in the Villa Park location.I've been a member of this community for almost my entire life and have been coaching in this area for almost ******************************* was when I took my son and his friends to play basketball and my son was pushed and shoved while he was shooting around by a much older kid. Again no supervision in the gym by any Vasa employees.I walked out of the gym and notified the front desk of what happened and that i wanted to cancel my membership. I never set foot in **** again.A couple months later i got a bill that I was in collections. I notified **** of my situation and they didn't care one bit. I was then lied to on two separate occasions by a corporate employees ******* S, basically insulting my intelligence with her lies about how the collection process works.************ doesn't handle issues about collection bills, that I need to contact the collection company. Which is completely untrue, the collection company works for ****. They want to come and damage my credit knowing I don't owe this money. I've made sure that the board on both of the local football and basketball programs are aware of what goes on in this facility.It's clear **** has no interest in taking care of the people past and present who join their gym. I wouldn't recommend this gym if the memberships were free. I'm leaving a one star review, because it's not allowing me to leave zero.

      I wish I could give them 0 stars. Not worth your money at all. Not only was the location a collection of safety violations due to faulty equipment, but they are a big scam when it comes to money. They charge a $50 guarantee fee, which guarantees they they will keep your rates fixed throughout the year they go up. So be ready to pay money so they don't charge you more money basically. Also they said we didn't pay past month dues when we did. Then they charged us over $278 to cancel. Such a scam. They try and hide fees. Don't tell you. Sign you up for Personal Training Classes that you never agreed to and then make you pay for them when you don't show up.

      Bait and Switch. They send a contract when you sign up that has a lower rate. This is called the preview. I have contacted the Attorney General of UT. I recommend that you all do the same. I moved out of State they have so few gyms its a waste.

      They did not cancel my account when I asked them to do so. Years later I've been hit with a huge collections bill. They say that they called and emailed me multiple times but I received no such emails or calls. Absolutely slimy and scammy.
