Totally agree with others vasa fitness is a scam. They steal from customers by omitting information. I put the daycare on hold they didnt mention a fee for placing it on hold. Now they are charging $25 dollars plus the $10 fee for placing on hold the service. They say I have a hold on my account until I pay the fee. Well guess what I am canceling the whole thing and the will have loss a customer for life. I hope the break as a company they ****

This business is built on scamming people. Someone needs to look into this business because they are s******* people over and bullying them out of their money. Hidden fees that were never disclosed, cant quit the gym without being charged, they claim there is no annual fees but there is a 50$ fee they charge you without your consent. It is an extremely over crowded gym and yet none of this money is going towards keeping these gyms clean and fixing all the broken equipment

Most gym are fine. But the customer service is ridiculous bad!!!? I guess they don’t pay their employees what they deserves, nor seems to offer any customer service training!!! I have been waiting for a contact since 01/17!!! None of my emails were responded, call back was offered but No one ever called me and yet, another attempted to talk to someone lead to 43min waiting and NO RESPONSE!!? PLEASE! Have some decency and do not apologize, that will not change my opinion about this company!!!! INSTEAD, do something about it!!! Hire qualified people to do the job as it should be!!!! This is not only unacceptable but a HUGE LACK OF RESPECT FOR THE MEMBERS!!!!

This company has changed the way they do memberships and it is so much easier and flexible! I love that I can cancel at any time instead of writing a letter to some office and paying hundreds to cancel. Vasa makes it so easy!! The staff are always helpful and have walked me through any membership changes I needed.

Garbage billing practices. Signed up to be notified when the gym would open and interest in membership. Have never stepped foot in this gym and have found $1000 of dollars of charges on my bank statements from these crooks under paramount Acceptance. Even worse to cancel for a place I've never even stepped into had to spend almost $200 in fees. Will never recommend this scam company to anyone and will go out of my way to warn people of there ridiculous practices.

I enjoyed going to the Vasa Fitness gym. It was a good service and value. Unfortunately I got injured and requested that my account be put on hold 6 months while I recovered. I got out of the habit of going and then called to cancel. Almost SIX years later I noticed I was being charged. Shame on me for not noticing earlier! I never received any notice that my account was being charged again. How hard would it be to send an email or text to inform me the account was being charged again, or an email saying our records show you havent used your account in over a year? I called them and they said unless I could provide an email from nearly six years ago confirming the account was cancelled there was nothing they could do. I definitely have fault in this However, I feel this is terrible to charge people for long periods with no communication at all, while their own data shows they have not used the facilities.

I tried to cancel my membership back in September, and my trainer said I needed to email someone about it. I did and never heard any follow up. I called, no one ever followed up. Automated systems are the worst. ** was continually charged, even after trying to freeze my account. I had to pay over $900 for it, even though I wasn't seeing a personal trainer anymore. I have tried calling AND I just saw that my account was charged again. I was told at the ****** location someone would call and clear this up with me and I have heard NOTHING. I am sorely disappointed, because this isn't about money, it's about principle. How can you tell someone to pay $100 to cancel when you've already charged them nearly a THOUSAND dollars? How do you expect people to continue with you when they've received nothing but difficulty? It's just really disappointing. I work for an antihuman trafficking nonprofit, and I don't make much as is. When I moved in July, I thought to get a personal trainer to gain a bit of community and get strong while I'm at it. After a few months, I injured myself on my own, and thought to take it slow, so I cancelled it to save money, and to free up my trainer's availability. I cannot afford all that I have spent to try to get in a place to cancel this. I'm hurting financially from this, and there's zero empathy felt from **** and their customer **********************. It's confusing and I can't keep shelling out money like this. If I pay it off and cancel, will I be able to use those sessions I've technically paid for after I asked to cancel it and it didn't? I live quite far from a Vasa now though, so ideally having some sort of compensation would be so appreciated. As a side note, I loved my trainer at Vasa. He did a great job making me feel strong, supported and safe. But the entire protocol for canceling and making people do backflips just to get out is not okay.

Hello,I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. It looks like you still have 2 payments remaining under contract. The two ways to cancel while youre in contract are either due to relocation (if you've moved more than 25 miles from the nearest gym), or if you sell/transfer your training to someone else. We do not have a medical or financial hardship clause for cancellation. In order to cancel due to relocation, we'll need a proof of move, which would be a utility bill or lease/rental agreement in your name. There's also a $100 cancellation fee. Once we receive the proof of move and cancellation fee we can get the account canceled out. If you're not moving you can sell/transfer the account to someone else with a $100 transfer fee. The new person would pick up the contract where you left off

They don’t deserve any stars. I have asked to cancel my membership. Only to find out I was still being charged. I’ve been to this gym probably twice and then went on deployment. I’ve pcs’d to another state in which they don’t even have a vasa gym at and yet a year later vasa gym sent a 1,200 dollar bill to Collections for me to pay them back.
