1 starA man driving an ION SOLAR vehicle hollered out of his window as my Black family and friends were crossing Atlantic Ave. to get to the boardwalk this evening at 6:30. He hollered, "Keep walking!" I am 100% positive this was racially motivated. The man was white. Avoid business at all costs with this company. They showed their true colors with this behavior. 5 starsI had a great pleasure of being a referral of an existing Ion customer. She explained how if I was already paying the utility company I was already paying for Solar. A gentleman named *************************** came over, explained it with extreme logic and they even covered the cost of a repair on my house that I had knew about for a while. 5 stars*************************** sales rep was amazing. He helped me find savings by reducing my utility and cable bill before I even started. Those savings alone takes care of going solar, not including the savings of going solar. I love that *** takes care of all scheduling and HOA approvals. All I had to do is be available when needed. For every stage of the process all employees were professional and polite. I am very happy with the over all process. Go Ion.Review fromTami K

1 star**************** has never follow up with a service issue, keep getting passed around and no follow up on the issue. Envoy EQ panel or Gateway went out last month and ****************** has been of no help or refuses to send some one out to fix part that should be under warranty from manufactures site, and paper work I received with install of the system. They truly want to install and forget and not work on service issues that I understand will happen over the lifetime of the system. I would say Install process went great but Service is really the low on their priority.Review fromShannon D

1 starION Solar refused to provide a service call to fix my IQ Combiner without me paying for the service call fee first. They would not schedule the service call until I gave a credit card number. My solar panels have not been able to send solar power to my home for 43 days, and, because *** refused to fix their equipment without being paid first, I am not able to get my solar power to my home. My electric bill has skyrocketed, and *** says they cannot do anything about my losing money because the solar panel and Combiner they installed is not working. The service representative, ******, said I could fix it myself with him walking me through the fix, but I am in the hospital with my sick parent. He said that he could send out a tech, but it would cost $195 + tax for a tech to do something that ****** and I could address for free on the phone when I get home. I asked to speak to a manager, and he said, "no one could talk to me right now". In any case, I am very dissatisfied, and I am looking for another service provider today.Review fromTerrell R

5 starsVery good experience with the team that came out. Talked to me about the whole process. Educated me with what was installed. Picked up the trash and supplies they had used during the installation. Overall a great experience and very satisfied with the installation. These people showed up at my door. Started their pitch with a big LIE that Virginia has a government mandate to have the green energy by **** and they install solar panels for free and they get incentives from Dominion.The sales guy came next day for a free quote and asked my wife has to be there for him to give the quote. The guy immediately left as I said its busy time with kids and not possible for my wife to be there.BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. DONT Waste YOUR time WITH THEM. SEE THE RATINGS HERE 2.3/5

1 starWe had Ion install our panels. The salesman ********** talked up the incentives and rebates we would be able to use to help offset our loan. Being seniors we really counted on that rebate. Contract signed, system installed, made follow up call about the rebate. We were told the rebate was not in our contract so there would be no rebate, sure enough buried in the 12 pages of small print legalese there was a clause stating they weren't liable for any incentives or rebates. Why put a clause like that in a contract unless you know your customers will be looking for what their salesmen promised. *** would have lost absolutely nothing, all they had to do was file the paperwork before installation. *********** and his cronies got a good laugh out of fooling two seniors on a fixed income.Review fromSammy G

5 starsThe *** installation team was awesome. They were very professional, courteous and clean up after themselves. The installation didnt take long. I highly recommend this group of guys.
