      The fact that this company has an A+ rating makes me question the BBB. You do not want to sign any documents this company puts in front of you!! The salesman who came to my door was pushy and dishonest. He lied to me about a document and pushed me to sign it, telling me it was just to get a site survey started, and was only to ensure if someone got hurt, it was not my liability. I decided to trust him and sign it and review it later knowing I had a 3 day right to cancel. After he left I read the document and realized it was in fact a purchase agreement, which I never intended to consent to. I had to cancel using my 3 day right. According to him, I would not be "locked in" until an installation plan was started. I'd like to believe that, but that's not what the written agreement said.When I called to cancel, the corporate rep continued to try to change my mind even after I explained that I was lied to.

      This is a construction project, so manage your expectations! The solar panels do exactly what theyre supposed to do. *** makes sure you understand the education first which is important. Who doesnt want to get tax benefits, increased property value, higher rental rate statistics, decrease their power bill, and get paid???

      The northern ******** office has been incredible! Everything from ****** knocking on our door getting our free report to our incredible energy specialist who explained this net metering program in detail signed us up for Solar hassle free, didnt pay anything out of *********** were installed 3 weeks ago producing our own power and havent made a single payment & the panels are beautiful. We have referred our **************** and love the referral program Ion offers us. Weve made *********** neighbors love the way it works. Thank you ION for being a real premium solar provider and we are pleased to be a part of the Ion family.

      I have been a faithfully-paying customer of ION since April of 2018. From the beginning, they neglected to set me up with the promised app that would help me monitor the solar production. They blew me off at the start and I gave up. But a year ago, when I had to have my roof replaced, it came to my attention that the solar panels, which I have paid for for 5 years, have been turned off since May of 2018. ZERO PRODUCTION FOR 5 YEARS!!! It took almost a year, and 12 days that I took off of work to meet *** employee after ION employee to bring the wrong part to try to get the app working and the solar panels turned off. I have reports from both XCel and ION showing ZERO panel production from May, 2018, until January, 2023. *** is aware and have come back and said, "so I am so sorry it took a while to get an update. I do have an update so I did put in the request for four years of compensation. but sadly it was denied by my company sadly." This is a horribly lazy, poor-communicating, and corrupt company.

      Our experience has been abysmal. The initial process to get approval from our town took forever because *** kept submitting the incorrect paperwork. We had to follow up with *** many times to finally get that resolved. Then nothing happened for many more weeks, despite our repeated follow **** It took over 5 months just to get to the point of having the panels installed and ready for our utility company to do their onsite inspection. Once we finally got that schedule, they failed the inspection due to communication issues on IONs part. Subsequent to that, absolutely no communication until we finally sent a strongly-worded email saying how incredibly frustrating the experience has been. The the sales person told us that they were working to resolve the issue(s), but since then (2 weeks ago) absolutely no communication. We finally gave up and said we wanted to cancel the contract. Since then (10 days ago) still no communication. Weve now filed a complaint with the BBB. We want ION to remove their equipment, repair our roof, and cancel our contract.

      I have been pleased with my system and the entire experience. The process was very simple from start to finish with wonderful communication throughout! The crew was extremely professional, answered all of my questions and worked efficiently and left my property better than they found it. Grateful for the excellent service!!

      They have the worst customer service ever! never take responsibility for anything. It's been 6 months and my $500 refund hasn't been issued yet. , you'll change call and deal with them everyday. This company is not recommended take your business somewhere else

      Sales person, communication prior to install, installation team, getting system up and running was all amazing. Now that all of the work has been done and ION has my money, Im not getting any customer service. One of our 23 panels has not been working properly since being active. Ive emailed: 2/06, 2/10, 2/11, 2/16. Ive called and left messages: 2/13, 2/20, 2/23. With all of those attempts to get this fixed I had one response with a supervisor on 2/20 which got a technician to our home on 2/21 to fix the issue. 2/22 and today, 2/23, that panel is again not working. As stated, called again today to get this issue fixed but was told somebody would have to call me back in 24-48hrs. Every day this panel does not work - it doesnt produce - we lose money. We were allowed to go active with our system 01/27/2023 - the following dates are days that this one panel has not worked: January 30th and 31st, February 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 16, 17, 19, 20, 22, 23. 28 days active and 14 of those 28 days this panel had not worked - unacceptable.Ive reached out 7 times with only one of those times making a connection with customer service and ION making an attempt to fix the problem - unacceptable.
