      I had solar installed on my home. I noticed 3 loose support brackets in June. My system is under warranty so I called Ion to make the repair. They said a repair technician would call me to schedule the repair. No one called. I called in July and was told the same thing. No one called. I received a text message saying they didn't have anyone in the area to do the repair and when they did they would call me. It is now august and still no call. I tried to call the support and was on hold for a really long time. I tried to use the chat function and no one answered that. I have emailed. I have text messaged them. No response. Don't buy solar from them. Once you install they will not follow through with anything they are supposed to.

      I am a new ION Solar Customer. Signing up for this service has been a very rewarding experience. I have saved money on my electric bill after 1 month up and running. The people I worked with were all professional, knowledgeable and kind. I would recommend this company to anyone interested in getting Solar Service.

      EXTREMELY PREDATORY! At risk household with posted statement of such prohibiting any non essential communications, especially solicitations. I also live in a no solicitation housing community.Have been contacted almost yearly since 2021 by a young man using an ever more refined sales pitch. This is not the first time I've seen him as he appeared at my door during the height of Covid, only a month after we lost someone, no mask, and REFUSED to leave. I was literally screaming at him to get away from our home but because my grieving father that was open to human contact and looked like an easy mark so he continued to ignore me, banging on the door after it was shut, and he only left after I threatened violence and he left cussing me out. Complaint filed with local state office and they went silent for a year due to the steep financial penalty risk.He returned (3rd time) 8/28/24 and starts the pitch using the state regulatory required price change notifications as a metaphorical foot in the door but it becomes obvious it's another solar panel sales pitch, not solar power system because the steep cost of batteries is never disclosed until the customer starts the sunk cost time investment of getting the estimate.Again he tried to dismiss me, even as I calling out his sales pitch before he did, finally getting the shut the door; catching another snide condescending comment thrown at us.Filing 2nd complaint to the state Attorney General as no other company operating in the area has exhibited these behaviors and disrespected communities health and safety contact protocols. The behavior of the sales agent is predatory.

      I would strong never recommend Ion Solar. The salesperson came out, we told them that the electrical box will need to be upgraded since it was a Federal box, and would need to be included in the price. We were told no problem it would be included. Their inspector comes out to check the roof and electrical box, which we again point out that the box will need replaced. There electrican comes out just adds all the wiring to the current box, cutting through a live wire. We state that the electrical box was to be upgraded, why wasnt? Electrican tells us it wasnt in the order. We call Ion Solar to discover that they never put it in the contract. So the city fails the inspection, so they had to replace the electrical box. 4 weeks later, we were waiting they went to a contractor for the electrical box and that we would need to pay $3,200 for it and up front. We went around about this, about another 2 weeks and the financing department call us and rolls it the contract creating a new contract. Except they add $6,000 instead to the current loan instead of the $3,200. Another 2 weeks calling every contact we have,and no answer. Finally get a hold of someone who tells us the person dealing with our account quit 4 weeks ago. Finally get electrican out there to change the box. And then the inspector out there and approve it. Ion Solar then waits another week to send the paperwork to ***. We finally get it all turned on.They also didnt give us the rebate that was offered through the state. Terrible company.

      This is my third solar company I have used over the years.They are by far the best I have dealt with. From beginning to end they have always responding quickly

      I contracted with ion solar to install solar panels on my home. Everything was fine until install day, 8/14/24. Their electrician, *******, arrived three hours early and when I asked why he was early, all he said was he could go, he could leave. I said that's not what I asked, I asked why he was early. This time, same verbal response with aggressive gestures - both arms out to the side and puffing his chest at me like he was going to fight me! He never provided an answer as to why he was late and I've never felt unsafe in my home until this happened. Then the install crew confirmed that this behavior is normal for him. I've complained up the chain and this whole company operates under intimidation of their customers. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

      ION Solar has investigated this matter and have attempted to work toward a solution that would benefit the customer and allow the completion of their project. ION Solar's representative contacted the customer the morning of the installation and asked if he could arrive earlier than the scheduled time, to which the customer agreed to. Unfortunately, this becomes a he said/she said situation and so as a way to help move the project forward, we provided the customer with solutions to help them feel safe in their home by promising the coordination of different technicians to avoid any conflict along with having the Operations Manager accompany the customer during those visits.

      ION Solar was a great company to work with. From the sales person to the person that measured and checked everything electrical and the roof and the installers all did a great job.
