My install was scheduled for Sept 7th and 8th. They showed up and I got them set up. I had to show the Team Lead how to get the wiring from one addict to the next. I left for work and received a call that they had to be there all night to finish my job. I was not excited about this but if I had to get done then so be it. I was concerned with a sloppy rushed job. I was correct, the wires look like a child scribble on a piece of paper. It was also ran across and hvac duct applying pressure. And they had barely installed any panels. I spoke to the team lead and they were wrapping up, I was confused based upon my earlier notification that they are staying until it is finished. He then stated I would get a call the following day for the rescheduling of the install. That call never came. I finally get a call on the third day. They want to come tomorrow Saturday September 10th. I am not home, and I am not comfortable with their workmanship to leave them unsupervised to do my job again. I have been given nothing but the absolute run around by them. I live my life on a very strict schedule. And I am going out of town next week so I have this eye sore on my roof and a pile of solar panels killing the grass. No one wants to take responsibility. I demand that they correct this and compensate me for my time, frustration and most of all the embarrassment of a half finished job on my beautiful home. I spent almost $40,000, and they are treating me like I am mad about pickles on a sandwich. I have made a living in the customer service realm. This is the worst customer experience I have ever seen.Business Response

This person's phone number is the same as a recent lead under a different name and different information. Our sales team has been trying to reach the person at the number we were given to follow up on their request for a more information/quotes. Since it seems that we were given the incorrect number, I've voided the information in our system, and no further contact will be made regarding this.

A representative of Blue Raven Solar named ***** came to our home and gave us a presentation about solar panels for our home. He specifically told us that we were under no obligation and that the company could just come survey our house at no cost and provide a plan and then we could decide if we wanted to move forward. After talking to some homeowners in our area with solar panels, we decided that it wouldnt meet our needs at this time, due to *********** not allowing us to use our solar credits if the electric grid goes down. Therefore, we did not move forward. We received an email 9/7/22 that said the following:Hi ******, Sorry I missed you! I was reaching out to speak with you about your solar project. I wanted to inform you that since you cancelled your account outside of the cancellation deadline, your account has incurred a fee. However, our goal is to help you go solar, so I would be happy to speak with you about how we can help you achieve that goal. I can be reached at ************. Best, *********************** | Retention Specialist | Blue Raven Solar | *********************** |My husband called Blue Raven Solar the same day and was told the fee was over $1000 and if we choose not to go forward with the project, their collections department will be in touch with us. I contacted a solar company. I was told installation would take approx 2 weeks. We signed all paperwork, including 20-year loan agreement. Install was done in early July. System has failed inspection multiple times. System is not functional. Company does not return calls or messages. Company will not assist in remedying problems. Company does not keep me informed. Company will not escalate problem to next level. Company refused to give out contact information for hedquarters.I would like a full refund, the removal of their product, and complete and total repair of roof, which was brand new when they installed their product.If this is not possible, I want a team of high-level Blue Raven employees (not contractors) to come and meticulously review the entire installation. I would also like them to cover several months of charges for delivering a faulty product.Business Response

This spring we had a solar panel system installed by Blue Raven. They damaged two sides of my home by spray painting black spray paint across my tan siding. We have attempted to work with them to get the paint cleaned, and if it could not be cleaned, replace the damaged siding. We have been in contact with several people, including management, about this issue since mid April 2022 with no work done to date. At Blue Raven's request we had a contractor out who advised the siding could not be cleaned, Blue Raven sent their own contractor out who claims it could not be cleaned. We have also provided them with names of reputable restoration companies in our area who would be willing to inspect and either clean or replace the damage but they have not contacted any of these companies. Blue Raven contacted our city's graffiti removal hotline who attempted to clean the area and was unsucessful. Blue Raven admits this damage is graffiti.Blue Raven is not responsive, it will take weeks to get responses from them about this situation as well as other customer service issues such as our system not being functional for months. We have given them five months to corrrect this issue with no movement from them. We have been paitent and allowed them time to clean this mess, but several contractors have said it cannot be cleaned and there is over $18,000 in damage to my home. This is poor service and criminal damage to my property.Business Response

Our work orders management & director is aware of the situation, and is looking for a reliable company that can clean off the paint, since we've been told that this is still possible by one of the several contractors we've reached out to. There have been scheduling issues on the end of the contractor we had ready to complete the work, and we are actively looking for a replacement due to these issues. We will reach out to the customer in the upcoming week regarding this, and we will make sure that communication is regularly made moving forward.

In Dec. 2021, I signed a contract to have Blue Raven provide solar for my house. In Jan. the inspector came and told me everything looked good and that they would just need to move my air conditioner and put some supports up in my garage. In Jan. someone came and moved my air conditioner. A couple weeks later, they came to install the solar and reinforce the joists. They got up into the attic and looked at it, came back down and told me that they couldn't do it and that the company would be getting ahold of me. I didn't hear from them but another team showed up at my house a week later and did the same thing. After that I didn't hear from anyone so about a month later, I sent my salesman a message. He called me and told me that he was looking at ways they can get the job done and he's waiting for the **** to give the go ahead. About a month after that, I got a phone call from the company ( I don't know who it was), calling to tell me that they couldn't do the job. I asked them what happens next. The guy told me that I didn't owe anything and that pretty much everyone walks away. About 2 months later I got an email from a girl in the collections office telling me I owe a $1200 cancellation fee and how would I be paying that. I wrote her and told her that if anything they owed me that and I would like my air conditioner moved back. She wrote back and said, "My mistake. You owe $1600 for moving the air conditioner." I immediately called my salesperson. He tried to help me but all roads let back to this one girl who didn't have a manager available and that we could do whatever we wanted to but the answer would be the same. Apparently, this one person is collections, retainment and customer advocacy. I paid the bill because in 3 days, she had emailed me and texted me every day asking for the money. It is, by far, the worst company I've ever worked with.Business Response

This business is horrible at communication and I have a leak under where they installed the solar panels.They are too busy to come out and repair and have cancelled appt for repair. Our roof leak specialist is expected to have a date ready by either this afternoon, or Monday at the latest. The customer will be given a call for confirmation. My solar panels were installed in September of 2021. After installation, the technician informed us that everything was working and there was nothing to do from our end. The first bill I received was not at all cheaper, so I called. I was told by customer service that it would take a few billing cycles to see savings. I tried to mitigate high energy consumption by setting our thermostat to 76 during summer and 62 during winter. When the bill doubled in the past 3 months, I sought clarity from Blue Raven only to be referred to ************ It was *********** who explained to me that my solar has ZERO ENERGY DELIVERED since installation. I called Blue Raven, provided them with all the bills, and expressed my disappointment with the sales and after-sales as well as the service maintenance that should have caught the problem after installation. A work order was scheduled and the technician found out that the installer failed to put an end cap to the strings at the solar panels on the roof causing a trip. I sent an email to the company but no update was given until I followed up a few days after. *********************, **** of customer service referred to as the Manager who decided to provide compensation for the last 3 months ONLY of my bill and not the entirety (over 10 months from installation and almost 1k worth of payment) only because I did not catch the problem early. Finally on Aug. 4, ****** called and offered $500 only. However frustrating, I called on Aug. 8 to settle and ***** of Work Order confirmed processing and to expect the check within 2 weeks. Today is Aug. 29, ****** of the same department confirms that there was no approval in the system and no check has been processed. This is unbelievable. It is discombobulating and inconceivable how a company can operate a business like this?! And they continue to solicit referrals? A business will naturally grow without any effort if you do your customers right.Business Response

Our work orders management informed me that the $500 was intended to cover the full 10 months of production. We reran the numbers to account for any other possible lost production, and this came back out to around $580. We will be making up the discrepancy and will compensate the customer for the convenience by sending another $200. Our accounting team also confirmed that the $500 was sent in a batch on September 2nd. The customer can expect this in the coming week, though this is subject to **** transit times.

We are under contract with Blue Raven Solar to have solar added to our home. we were told we needed our roof done and needed the electrical panel upgraded. roof was done on insurance claim and Blue Raven said the panel upgrade would be covered by them. months latter we are still waiting on a part for the upgrade. now we at a period of time where if we cancel the solar we will be charged $1200. i feel they continue to sell the solar panel and dont have the parts for the job. i told them i wanted out of the contract without penalty but cant get an answer without starting the process and no guarantee of not being charged so now we are trapped.Business Response

We have had 2 visits within the last week to fix these, and currently have a third scheduled for next week. We expect that this last visit be the final, assuming all goes smoothly.
