  I had a fantastic experience with Blue Raven Solar from start to finish. The entire process was smooth, transparent, and well-organized. From the initial consultation to the final installation, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of my time and property. The installation crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and left the site clean. They also took care of all the permits and inspections, which made the whole process stress-free on my end.

  Blue Raven installed quickly after I signed the contract. They damaged the ceiling in my den but that will get repaired and ** said they will cover the cost. After installation, it took nearly three months to get the system turned on. Reason was related to problems with the Xcel application. I had to call several times to keep the ball rolling. Once **** approved, I quickly received an email with instructions on how to activate my system. Even though the instructions looked simple, I wanted ** to activate the first time to ensure it was working properly and I had to be firm in my call to HQ to get a tech out. Glad I insisted as there was a wiring problem that prevented the system from starting up. My tech was *****. She came out while county zoning inspected the newly installed system and gave me her contact info for any questions I might have. She was very helpful, and definitely knew how to check the status of my approval process and got my system up and running - diagnosed the wiring problem and quickly corrected the issue. She then explained the ** app. Jennys services should be standard on a new install!!

  The crew of 4 arrived on time and installed all 19 panels in one day. The system was activated about 10 days ago and his worked very well. I am completely satisfied with the crews work.

  I was approached by Blue Solar from a different state (****). No one local was involved. They provided design quickly but their inspector told me I needed a new roof. Fine. BUT I had to pay $5200 up front cuz of the roof. Be aware that the finance company they work with charges a 25% loan origination fee. Over $11,000 in my case! AND I kept hearing I'd get a 30% money back as govt rebate. ONE DOES NOT GET $$ back from the govt; it only goes towards paying what you owe the govt at tax time. You MIGHT be able to carry it forward (like ***** does) on your tax liability for a few years forward BUT at NO TIME do they offer you the money! BlueRaven told me my costs for the solar would go DOWN in 18 months then be $100-200 more a month for 23 years. I was told IF I paid the "TAX REBATED" funds into the loan, it would go down BUT HOW doee one use NON EXISTANT $$ to pay it down? You can't; the 30% tax rebate can ONLY be used to pay down Tax Liability to the **** AN constant hounding to accept loan, etc, even though my total bill (with new roof they said I needed) would now be $400-$500 a MONTH. Total BS. I cancelled the contract within 3 days then waited 2-3 weeks for my refund of the $5200 I had given them.

Some customers choose to apply the amount they receive as a loan principal payment to lower their monthly payments, while others may choose to use those funds differently.   *****. Don't. I used to work there. My 18 year old sister also worked there. 99%+ of the people who work there are 21 years old (plenty younger) and they have 3 months of experience with the company. The turn over is high, so if you ever need to speak to the *********************** or have any issues at all whatsoever, you WILL be in the hands of a 21 year old with 3 months of experience, who genuinely COULD NOT help you IF they wanted to. You will be bounced around hundreds of times before you get to speak to a supervisor, who is 24 and also cannot help you. :)

  Pushy salesman. Installation team booked multiple electrician appointments and when they did not show up, there was no call or even a acknowledgement of customer inconvenience.

  They came door to door and saleperson misrepresented intentions (I agreed to accept their info, not do a full rundown of services). I cancelled the meeting and said I wasn't interested. They have called, texted, or emailed me constantly for a month despite me blocking callers, telling them I wasn't interested, etc. I would be VERY wary of any company that won't take no for an answer.
