    My wife and I purchased a "Date Night" package for the Lights Festival in Austin, TX. The transaction was made on December 11, 2023 for February 10, 2024. The total amount for this package was $188.00. The business claims they will postpone or reschedule the event in case of rain or high winds and would notify us the day of the event. Today, the weather is rainy with scattered thunderstorms in the area of the event. We were notified that the event is still happening and that rain won't "bring us down." Quite a few poeple on their facebook page have expressed their concerns and have called for the event to be postpone siting safety. So far, no one has heard to see if the event has been rescheduled. I attached a few documents below with additional information. We are dissapointed the way the business is deciding to handle this. Our safety is priority and we do not want us to be involved in an accident at the event.

    In 2021 i bought tickets to the lights Fest that was supposed to happen in northern california in 2022. I reached out asking about the dates several times and they said it would be announces. They announced it for october 2023 and told me i can change my tickets for the 2023 event. The event ended up getting postponed again and it seems like it is not happening.

    Bought ticket for an event in New Orleans 9-2-23. The event have been postponed more than 90 days. I have requested a refund as it was stated on website of event is postponed more than 90 days you can get a refund. They will not issue a refund. This company is a scam.

    I purchased 2 tickets to the "The Lights, Houston area 2-11-2023" via ************************* on 11/25/2022. My order (Order #******) included Refund Protection Plan - qty 2 that was to cover refunds on both my tickets. I have attached a copy of my order and a copy of the protection plan that is displayed on their website when purchasing tickets.

    I was notified by the Lights Fest that the event was rescheduled. I notified them that I would like a refund on 2/7/2023 by emailing **********************. I continued to follow up with the lights fest via email a total of 13 times. I have included all my emails along with their replies as supporting documents. The Lights Fest has no phone number listed so this was my only route to them. The closest I got to a resolution was this response on 2/22/2023: "Your refund request has been received and is under review." I have never been issued a refund and this company has now stopped responding other than their automated message.

    This company is an absolute SCAM and I don’t think they actually ever have an event as scheduled. On 9/13/23 I bought 2 tickets to the Fresno Lights Fest (which was to take place in Firebaugh) event on 11/4/23. I paid for refund protection because my schedule changes and I wasn’t sure I would be able to make it. On 10/28/23 I decided I couldn’t make it and requested a refund. On 11/2/23 I received a text message saying my event was postponed. On 11/3/23 I again requested my refund and again on 11/9/23. It’s 11/25/23 and I’ve yet to hear anything about our event being rescheduled and it’s currently off their website entirely.

    On July 29th, I purchased tickets (online via my credit card) to the Sacramento Festival of Lights which was to be held on October 21st. In addition to the tickets, I purchase two $7.98 "Add Ons" which provided "Refund Insurance" so that we could get the ticket price refunded. The Add On would not be refunded as it was an insurance cost. On August 7th, I learned we could not make the event and requested a refund. I received an automated response indicating that my refund would be "processed in due time" I have reached out MULTIPLE TIMES since then, and NEVER received any response other than an auto-reply. It has been more than THREE MONTHS - it is unconscionable that a refund would not be issued!! I am uploading the email trail and the snapshot confirmation of the purchase. Please assist me as I think this company is not a reputable business!

    The event was supposed to be held on April 22nd 2023 but got rescheduled for a different date, however when I initially purchased the tickets in November 28th of 2022 I also purchased their Insurance to get a full refund in case of any changes. I have been inquiring about the matter since April and have been told multiple times that refunds are being issued, however now I am no longer getting a response from the company and have yet to receive a refund. The total cost for everything was $233.26. I would also have to get this refunded to a different credit or debit card as the one initially used has expired.

    Is there a way that your organization can reach out to this organization? This is not right for them to treat customers this way especially since they continue to curate and promote future events.

    On July 10 I purchased 5 tickets with add ons for what was supposed to be a lantern festival in Sacramento, Ca. I paid $260.40 total. My order numbers #******* and #*******. At first the light show was relocated due to not getting proper licenses to 3730 Ca-45, Colusa, Ca. They did not offer any refunds for moving the event more than two hours away. In California it’s against the law to have the lanterns supposedly. The event was supposed to take place October 21st and on October 19th they postponed the event stating. “As you know, the October 21st Sacramento Lights Fest was recently relocated to Colusa. We obtained authorization from the fire marshal and had approval for this venue to host the event. Unfortunately they just discovered another step in the approval process that needs to be completed before the event can happen. We expect this part of the approval process to take 2-3 weeks.” A lot of people are unhappy and can not drive that far and did not agree to these terms. We have tried to contact customer support or ask for a refund and can not reach any one. The email given was **********************. In some cases upset customers have reached out to them on Facebook commenting in posts where the company then commented back claiming to release some refunds but no one has received anything. they also have been deleting comments about people’s bad experience or anyone who has tried to reach out for a refund.

    Purchased a ticket on 7/11/23 for their “NY/NJ” lights show even though it was going to be held on 10/14/23 in PA. Several days before the scheduled event, I went on their website and followed their process to request a refund (happened on 10/8/23) due to being unable to attend. I did also purchase their “refund protection” insurance or whatever, entitling me for a refund. So happens that the event ended up being rescheduled from 10/14/23 to 11/4/23 “due to inclement weather”. I have sent numerous emails but nothing. Now that I have read all these reviews, I see that this company is a scam!!! I want my money back!!!

    I purchased tickets to the Lights Festival in Sacramento, CA, to be held on 10/21/23. The company changed the location from Sacramento County to Colusa County. This adds 165 miles of driving distance, 3 hours of time, and $40 worth of gas. This is not reasonable. They will not refund me as I did not pay for insurance. I may have been able to sell or transfer the tickets but they just notified me of the change on 10/16/23, less than a week from the event. In researching this further, I discovered that the vendor knew two months ago that the event was not going to be approved to be held in Sacramento, as it is illegal for these events to be held in California. I’m not sure how it it happening in Colusa County now, unless it is on a Native American reservation. They should not have been selling tickets to an event for which they did not have the required permits to begin with. I have reached out to them, requesting a refund, but have not been successful as of today.
