On June 16, 2024, my wife and I moved out of our apartment at The Ridge at Blackmore (Ph 3) apartment complex on Blackmore Road in Casper, Wyoming, that is owned by AMC, LLC. Our deposit refund check arrived last week on approximately April 1, 2024. Our original lease at the apartment complex had three occupants on the lease, ******* ******, ***** ******, and my mother ***** ******. We told the leasing office that ***** had moved to California on May 9, 2024, and that subsequently she had passed away. Our deposit refund check in the amount of $1229.46 is made out to ***** ******, ******* ******, and ***** ******. I have been unable to deposit this check, and I talked to the office about it on April 7, 2024, letting them know that I have been unable to deposit it because of the way it is made out, that ***** should not have been on the check, and to please contact AMC, LLC and have it rewritten. They said that this is their policy, to address all refund checks to all the names on a lease, and refused to help me any further. This is an unacceptable business practice and I need help getting my check rewritten and addressed to myself preferably, or if necessary to myself and my wife ***** ******.

I moved into this property on **** **** ******** ****** thru AMC rentals property. And since then i've had my car stolen three times and poor up keep of the complex. There's dog poop all over the place. And when I complain to the management, they say all they can do is find somebody if we find out who's doing it period after my vehicle had been stolen. In total loss I had to get a new vehicle which was also broken into on christmas eve 2023. When I asked the management if they were going to get any security Cameras or security on the property.Seeing as this is happening to multiple residents living on this property not just myself. They said they were hiring a security team to drive through the complex through the night and it never happened. When I asked about cameras, they told me to get one for myself. It's not in their budget to pay for cameras. From my understanding this A property part of a lawsuit with the attorney general using real page to increase rent. I pay 1960 a month with utilities to live in this small. 2 bedroom apartment that my car is getting vandalized at and I do not feel safe living here. I have children and I am stuck in a lease. And they are not willing to let me leave without charging me over $3000 charge To break my lease. This is an unsafe place to live for way too much money a month.I don't believe the inflation. Is this bad to where I need to pay?Almost $2000 a month to live in this apartment.I truly feel like I'm being ripped off.And the rent is not legit according to the market.

For about a year strong now, our mail box's have been broke open and mail has been stolen numerous times, at times it takes weeks for the management to "close" the broken mail boxes. not fix the issue. it has happened so many times now..
Management and staff are hardly on sight, they keep a "out for lunch" sigh posted on their door for hours. They never answer their phones, and are un-helpful when we do finally get them.
I'm sure their is mold in our building as the ceiling has black dots starting to grow in our bathrooms and in my kids room. we have a crazy pest and bug problem.
Their is trash and all types of filth around the property, and none of the maintenance do their jobs half the time. This is becoming a bad living situation,
I'm just trying to get some sort of outside help to get these people to actually do their jobs as we pay 1,400 a month for this type of "shitty" living.
My front door is so loose, it literally can be wiggled back and forth that the bolt lock will undo and the door will be open. iv mentioned all these issue to management and iv been here 2 years now and not a single thing has been done about any of my issues.
Some apartments have no hot water, their a/c hasn't been working and i feel for those people. they don't know where to make a complaint so I'm here in hopes to get someone's attention to look into this complex and hopefully get something done about it.....

I am currently a resident at the apartment complex, The Falls at Westover Hills. We are not happy with the complex. They market themselves as a luxury apt to get away with upping their prices, but it is anything but "luxury." We have paid our rent on time every month for the past 2 years, yet we don't have access to any amenities that were marketed to us:
-There is no sense of security; the gates are always broken and left open. An obscene amount of vehicles have been stolen and broken into due to this.
-The gym has been under repair for well over a year now, with the management team constantly giving us the run around and excuses as to when it will be fixed--the equipment is broken, and at one point the AC was out for weeks, which is a health hazard for those working out in this Texas heat.
-The pool is constantly broken. This past summer we were only able to use the pool twice. We have been given multiple excuses like its broken or it needs to be cleaned, but then they wait weeks to clean it.
-The laundry room has multiple broken machines.

We continue to reach out to staff and we get the run around with no effort to fix the issues. They play the blame game on each other and the property managers.

I applied to this apartment Feb 9th and paid the $54 app fee. I was told I was approved through text on Feb 13th and that I needed to pay admin fee of $250 to hold apartment as well as find out any additional information about what my deposit and other move-in fees would be (Never heard of this before) but I paid anyway. I went to pick up my keys and move in a day later after being notified I could do so. The apartment AND building was filthy. Trash, opened food, kids toys, illegal substances and other things were scattered in front of the door and all around the building. The leasing agent had just came from cleaning the apartment (I waited an hour in the office for her to do so) so I could only assume she saw it and cared not to address it. After going in and seeing how nasty my apartment was inside and out (The patio door didn't even locked and I was told the fire department kicked the door in). I called immediately and advised the women in the office I wanted to request a transfer. The REGIONAL MANAGER MONIQUE snatched the keys away from me and told me that I was NEVER APPROVED and she does not know how I was even able to sign a lease. Weird right??? They then sent me on a wild goose chase to provide more documents and complete verifications that should had already been completed. They started making up lies saying my application and documents were "sketch" but they were already verified through SNAPPT which is a service used to catch these things. I eventually just asked Monique and Cindy to transfer my file to their sister company, I no longer trusted them with my things. They demanded I get approved with them THEN they'll consider the transfer. Needless to say this went on for days. I finally just withdrew my application. I was told my admin fee could not be electronically refunded to me but they had to send a check that will take 2 weeks but could not provide me any tracking info or mailing details.

I live at an apartment: Cascadia Luxury Apartments. New tenants moved to the unit above me approx. October 2023. They have very loud behavior: slamming things, dragging things from end ot end of the apartment, dogs running back and fourth/barking, yelling, loud music, etc. The smell of marijuana comes through my vents and sometimes the smell of rotten eggs, which my substance use recovery patients have told me is the smell of meth. At least two times unprovoked, both the man and woman have been at my door, pounding, yelling for me to come outside in an aggressive manner equaling threatening behavior. Police were here x4 last weekend. I have made many reports to my apartment complex, which have only directed me to contact the police, which I have also done and have report numbers. This is a safety issue and I have been told by the complex here that safety is only up to me and I can move out if I want. I have requested nullification of the lease, cost of moving compensated as well as deposit return and paying of deposit on new dwelling. Office keeps putting me off. Corporate not getting back to me. Office manager hung up on me. I was given non working email address for regional manager. Regional manager phone number goes straight to voicemail. I have audio recording of the aggressive behavior that takes place above me and police report numbers. The office here is even so alooft that they when talking with them they thought I was the opposing apartment.

Since moving in to this apartment complex it's been nothing but a nightmare. The entire complex is infested with cockroaches and the office people won't do anything about it. I pay $1850 a month and I have to worry about roaches, homeless people trashing the complex and unsupervised children damaging vehicles and an unauthorized tow truck coming in and taking cars at night. This place absolutely unclean and unsafe for all ages.

I paid $300 security deposit when moving into Cypress Springs Apartments in November 2018. I provided a 60 day notice prior to end of lease following two break-ins within a three day period of time. I moved August 31, 2023 the end of my lease.
Nevada law requires the security deposit be returned to me within 30 days. I did not received my $300 security deposit nor a itemize list of damages by September 30, 2023 as required by Nevada statute.
A letter was mailed to property detailing issue 11-9-23 by certified mail return receipt. Expected delivery date was 11-13-23. I received a phone call from the property manager ironically on 11-13-23 informing me an e-mail was sent to me showing a itemize list of damages to vacated apartment and I owed them. She added I could be put on a payment plan.
On 11-24-23 the certified letter, return receipt I mailed 11-9-23 was returned to my new address unsigned, as though they never received it. It said " RETURN TO SENDER" "ATTEMPTED" "NOT KNOWN" "UNABLE TO FORWARD"
Cypress Springs Apartment is not adhering to Nevada statute that says the security deposit must be returned to the former tenant within 30 days of the end of lease and the itemized list of damages must be presented within that same 30 day period.
The mention of putting me on a payment plan indicates to me this is routine for the property.

This apartment complex is claiming I have a pst due balance 2 years after my lease ended and I moved out. My lease ended 3/22/22 and I was paid the prorated amount for the month of March. However they charged me for the FULL month of March even though i did not occupy the unit for that full month. The leasing staff is incompetent and negligent when I bring up the matter and is threatening to send me to collections, even though I was current.

I'm being harrassed by neighbors below 3 women and they are intentionally using some diffuser to release toxic fragrance and it smells like different fragrance, but with ammonia or bug spray. I would say more bug spray and it worsens at different times of the day and evening. I can't breathe, I'm nauseated and constant headaches when it starts. Opening the window in 40 degree weather doesn't even help. I contacted the leasing office in writing and by phone. The manager decided to come to my house with a maintenance guy and was aggressive right off the back. She basically said that I was lying about the smell and probably the music and just wanted this neighbor out , and that is not the case at all. I want them to move them because they are petty and retaliating about my previous complaint about loud music and pot smoking. I've been here 7 yrs and no issues with any of my neighbors, but this one. I'm having to stay somewhere else and also set up my work location else where because of the toxic smell. It's toxic because it is just as if someone sprayed a can of raid and your immediate response is to get out of that area where it is sprayed because of how toxic and horrible the smell is. Well I can't do that in my own apartment and just leave, I have to sleep, work take showers etc, so I can't just leave I have to stay in that environment until they turn off the device that's being used, or I eventually leave. They refuse to move me elsewhere and said if I was to transfer there would be a fee. I"m being harrassed so I should not have to pay a fee, and they should be the one to move. At this point I see that they will not help me, and if you look at previous problems about this company, they are similar. All I want is to give my notice and not pay for January since I am not able to remain in my own apt under these circumstance. Also I know it's toxic because the air in my apt is so thick with their fragrant smells that it's bitter and in my drink and food.
