Before the pandemic I took my nieces and nephews to see Toy Story 4. Prior to arriving to the theater I placed an order for all of our food and drinks. Upon arrival nothing was ready. We received cold food and continuously had to keep leaving the movie to see if the food was ready. We missed majority of the movie and were given passes to come back. I held on to the passes since and called multiple theaters to see if I can exchange them as they’re expired. I was not made aware of the expiration date until I recently went to exchange the unused passes. I went back to the same theater AMC Fresh Meadows 7 - regardless of the travel time and was told by the manager that there was nothing he could do although I received them there. I have 9 passes that cannot be used and I did not use a pass for my original purchase. My money had NO expiration date.Initial Complaint

This company took over management of Vista Towers Apartments and the Apartments changed their name and now named "ACASA VISTA TOWERS". This management company AMC gave "Rowland Avenue Management, Inc. A/KA Columbia Debt Recovery, LLC d/b/a Genesis" my personal information as if I lived at ACASA. I never lived there so why is this debt on my credit reports? I would like for this to be REMOVED. It is fraud and a violation of the FCRA because when it was VISTA TOWERS APARTMENTS the debt was given to another collection agency that is also on my credit report. I am reporting this to other agencies as well to make awareness of this. My identity seems to be put at risk for theft. My proof is attached.Initial Complaint

I paid 3,000 to an apartment complex I previously resided at . I had notified management of incidents happening while residing there. I was being harassed and threatened by other residence and kept filing complaints with management and even filed police reports. I’m no longer residing there but have been trying to get a refund and dispute eviction since management was doing nothing to help my situation. I moved due to safety reasons and could not live there any longer.Initial Complaint

I had rented from Navalia Apartments, and when I signed the lease, it was a 12 month lease. I had not intended on moving out when signing it, but unfortunately, life happened where I no longer had funds to pay them rent, due to losing my job and being unable to find another one in time. The contract, in no way, had ANY concessions that were mandatory, other than paying "two months' rent" before I left if I had to break the lease. They had a whole addendum on a separate page with was VERY vague, didn't use specific language, and wasn't clear at all. It basically meant that they could do whatever the heck they wanted to do to me if I had to move out. They could charge me whatever they wanted, due to how vague the addendum was. I had asked the manager what I needed to do in order to move out and my parents had asked her the same question months before I actually moved out. The answer was the same each time we asked: "you only need to pay the 2 months rent". And even that was a huge stretch. We had to take out a loan to even pay the two months, which was fine. That was in the contract and it was clear. And we paid them the two months rent. I got zero amount of my $500 safety deposit I had paid them the first month before moving in. But again, I didn't mind, knowing it must be for cleaning and stuff of the like, even though I had zero money in my bank account. Then, when I left, management reached out, through a text, that there had been a mistake and I owed more money. and that would add up to more than $1000. It was due to the one month free special I had when I moved in. That had been nowhere on my lease. Management never told me or my parents when they had asked if the two months payment was all they needed. To say the least, I still get a hefty bill from them and I believe it is shameful and rude to suck money out of someone who is moving due to financial problems and where the contract had no say in it and the management NEVER told me OR my parents when asked.Initial Complaint

Secondhand smoke.
I am currently a resident at Arabella Apartments. Unfortunately, my experience here has been marred by a breach of contract by one of my neighboring tenants, who is consistently exposing me to cigarette smoke. This issue first came to my attention when I made a formal complaint on 6/12/23. Despite the fact that I had signed a no-smoking addendum as part of my lease agreement, I was informed that I needed to provide a physician's note to address the situation. Regrettably, the ongoing exposure to cigarette smoke has had severe consequences on my health. I have been experiencing a decline in my overall well-being, including symptoms such as frequent migraines, blurred vision, and other health-related issues. These health problems have made it impossible for me to work, leading to a significant loss of income.
I have reached out to the management of Arabella Apartments in an attempt to resolve this matter, but I feel as though I have been given the runaround, which has left me extremely frustrated and aggravated by the situation.
As a result, I am now seeking compensation to address the following:
Medical Expenses: I have incurred medical expenses due to the health issues caused by the exposure to cigarette smoke.
Rent Paid: I believe that my inability to enjoy a smoke-free living environment, as promised in the lease agreement, warrants reimbursement for the rent I have paid while enduring these conditions.
Moving Expenses: Considering the adverse effects on my health and quality of life, I may need to relocate to a smoke-free environment, incurring moving expenses in the process.
Loss of Income: The health problems I've experienced have prevented me from working, resulting in a substantial loss of income. I seek compensation for this financial hardship.
I believe it is in the best interest of both parties to find a satisfactory solution. Please let me know how we can proceed to address these issues and arrive at a fair resolution.Initial Complaint

We moved in June 2023. We overlooked the false advertising on the apartment floorpan, discovered the dishwasher was broken and there is a potential mould problem in the bathroom.
To this date, with numerous emails, phone calls, and formal service requests, nothing has been fixed. We have been disrespected, gaslit, and ignored.

AMC theatres use to have no less than 5 showtimes a day for 3D screenings of any new 3D movie that premiere during its first week.
Now they only have 0 to 2 showtimes a day for 3D screenings on opening weekend of any & all 3D movies.
Other countries always have 50% of all showtimes for a newly release 3D movie in 3D.
Even the recent Jurassic Park (1993) 3D re-release only had 2 showtimes a day since its release on August 25th, 2023. It shouldn't have had less than 4 showtimes a day in week 1.
This isn't fair, and it's very anti-consumer. This practice is trying to force people to settle for 2D screenings only, via inconvenience of time, by only having 2 showtimes a day for 3D screenings of any 3D release on opening weekend.
We consumers deserve easy access to 3D showtimes, so we can have actual choices to make our prefer decision per customer.
Also I would like it if AMC gets some 4DX screening rooms, especially if they can get them as early as November 10th for The Marvels.Initial Complaint

This management company has violated and disregarded multiple clause and the rental agreement. They have caused damage to my credit as well as financial loss. They told a vehicle of mine and per our agreement they are required to give sufficient notice but what not provide proof of this notice I was requesting this proof for over a year to no avail. They also closed my rent reporting account without notice. I tried resolving this with the reporting company who advice they did not close it and will not be able to reopen it. When contacting the property manager they refused to reopen this without explanation. This causes a significant drop in my credit by over 100 points. I would like to have both issues resolved.Initial Complaint

I have been a member of AMC stubs for years. I received the AMC card and had issues with it so the credit card was canceled. It was terrible to use. Now my stubs account is GONE. I am a premiere member. I had a 100 dollars in theater tickets I could not even put into the system. Please fix this so I do NOT have to go to the BBB. I probably had 40,000 points just deleted and membership I paind for
