      Reservation Counter is possibly the WORST company I have EVER dealt with. I booked a reservation for the Sleep Inn and Suites in ******, **. for January 19, ****. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the reservation on Jan 18 due to a winter storm that moved through the area. I called and requested to cancel the reservation fully understanding the policy of them keeping the $79.00fee. Today is Feb 20 and I have still not received my refund. I called them only to learn that they will not issue a refund because they are saying that I requested a free cancellation and they denied that and since I never called back and requested any other kind of cancellation, they will not honor my cancellation request. So basically, they just kept my $117.00 for a room and that's the end of it. So sad! This company is the absolute WORST!! I will never use them again! they are scammers and they know it. The woman I spoke with today offered no resolution to my situation at all. Beware of the company at all costs!

      Complete SCAM. Thought I was calling the hotel direct but somehow was routed to this phone number. Taxes charged are double what the actual hotel would have charged and also charged a 15.99 service fee which was never mentioned. Warning when booking make sure you are speaking with the hotel direct or you will pay much more.

      Your team falsely represented a hotel of which I never booked a reservation at and you told me that they cannot issue any kind of refund instead you sent me a check for a $300 loss thats a difference of $270 remaining. Took forever to get a resolve and still didnt get the service refund I requested because of your teams negligence and overlooking the fact or never telling the customer their total until the transaction was already completed. Once the transaction was completed your team informed me that I was unable to get a refund. Thats crap!

      Made an online reservation with what I thought was Holiday Inn Express, but was somehow routed to Reservation Counter without my knowledge. I wound up canceling the reservation the next day but was charged a $15.99 service fee that was not refunded. I have no idea how I even got routed to this website. Additionally, the $15.99 was not made clear at the time of the reservation or I would NEVER have made it. This is a scam!!! Buyer beware!!!

      Ditto to all that was said! I too thought I was talking to the hotel reservation desk. I asked the person I spoke with if there were still renovations going on at this hotel (a Hilton) and he said no. He had a thick accent too and I had a hard time understanding his recap, at the end of the reservation. Within minutes I got the confirmation and found that on a $109 room reservation, there were $41.83 in added fees. A full 38% added to the cost of the room. I called to cancel IMMEDIATELY and they said it was impossible to do so, as the reservation said non-refundable. I spend about 3 hours on the phone (mostly on hold). I called the hotel directly and they said the hotel was still under heavy renovations. They were very understanding, and advised that this is a scam company, and to always book directly with the hotel, which I thought I was doing. Naturally, we have put a hold on this credit company charge. I've tried to follow up multiple times and am always on hold. The credit card company, of course, requires best effort attempts to resolve this directly with the service provider.

      Terrible buisness. I book a hotel room through them, and when I got there the hotel was being condemned. Worse yet they only would give me partial credit back, only 2 of the three days I booked.

      TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! When I placed by ********************, I booked adjoining rooms for our family. I was told I would have adjoined rooms and even waited on hold while the customer representative 'talked' with the hotel to make sure I could book adjoining rooms. When I got to the hotel, I did not have adjoining rooms. I contacted the company MULTIPLE times about rectifying the situation. I was told I would have a response in **** business days and did not. When I called them, I was connected to a supervisor after twenty-five minutes who hung up on me after five minutes. I was told that they would refund me the $15.99 booking fee. If I was not going to have adjoining rooms, I could have simply booked one room and saved myself $158.98!

      I made a reservation thru Resevation Counter a third party for a one night stay at a Hampton Inn in Ridgefield Park, NJ., for 3/6/24 check out on 3/7/24 on Janurary 7th 2024 and asked if the price I was given $150.56 included a cruise package that allowed me to stay one night leave my vehicle during my time on the cruise and also shuttle my family to and from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal in NYC . To confirm my reservation at the hotel I was told that they mislead me on the price that it did not include the cruise package. I immediately called back the company and was told by another employee that the person who took my reservation should’ve never told me that the price included the cruise package so I asked to have my reservation canceled due to false pretense and was told they had to go thru their support team to review my case before I could cancel, after not hearing for almost two weeks I called them back then I was told that I had to call the hotel to cancel my reservation which they did not tell in the first place in order to review my case to refund my money. I called the hotel front desk to cancel my reservation and was given a confirmation number to give Reservation Counter this information. They then told me it would be another 7-10 days before they would make a decision. On 1/22/24 I got an email from Travelpass.com denying our refund, who is Travelpass.com. My initial conversation with them was recorded so how to they say I can’t get my refund even thou she told me the price included the cruise package? To be clear I did book this reservation based on non cancellation but again I was given false information in doing so. The best outcome for me is to get my refund at worst let me get my hotel reservation back and I will pay the hotel the cruise package separate. I will never use a third party again and always go thru the hotel. Very upset customer Henry M.

      My mistake was thinking that this was the actual hotel I was calling. I made the booking, confirmed everything with Daniel the reservation agent who said hotel transportation was included. I asked him to include that on the confirmation email. Well, he didn't do it and that's when I understood that this was a third party service. When I contacted the hotel directly they said no there is a $45 fee to shuttle service. I called Reservation desk back and I have been given the run around. Finally today, almost a month later I called and was told that my refund request was denied. They are insisting that transportation was included because that's what it says in their notes. When I explained that the notes are wrong and I have a receipt from the hotel with the $45 charge, it fell on deaf ears. The fact is Breathless Rivera Cancun hotel explained that no third party company can include transportation. The only way to get it is to book with them directly. I escalated this with Miranda in customer service and she said she will listen to the recorded tapes and get back to me, she never did. I will never book with them again! Ripoff artists

      Complete SCAM of a website. I am not sure how ****** still allows them to advertise. They mimic the actual website of the hotel company and only offer non-refundable rates that you can't change and will lose the total cost of the original stay.
