This business is a total scam. They took my reservation for a hotel in *****. We needed to get an early so they told us we can check into the hotel by 10am, and they do this all the time. I was lead to believe I was talking to the hotel. When we got to the hotel said their policy is to check in at 4pm. So essentially we got screwed out of $220. I called them and told them the situation and they referred me to "higher management". They left me on hold and never got back to me. They also charged a $49 premium that they did not disclose when I booked the hotel. They said the cost was much less, so they lied to me. If there is a way to leave 0 stars I would.Reservation Counter, LLC

This has been a horrible experience. I was "fooled" into thinking I was talking to the hotel. They took my credit card information, put me on hold, and then came back to let me know the room I was trying to book was no longer available (that's when I realized I wasn't speaking with the hotel directly). I ended up not making a reservation (I couldn't....the room wasn't available). I was told I wouldn't be charged (obviously...the room wasn't available so they didn't book anything for me), however, to my surprise, I was not only charged for the room anyway, but I was charged 14 times for that room!! Yes, my credit card was billed $179.64 FOURTEEN times plus a service fee of $15.99 x 2 times (a total of $2,546.94)!! I have had 4 phone calls (each ***** min. in length) with the company, and 13 of the 14 charges were refunded to my card, but the fourteenth charge and the 2 service charges have yet to be refunded. I ask to speak to managers, but no one will connect me. Contacted the hotel directly and they are also furious about this situation and have had similar situations with this company. The charges go back to Expedia although Expedia isn't mentioned anywhere on the emails, credit card charges, etc. It has been 18 days since this happened with no resolution. My recommendation is ALWAYS confirm if you are speaking directly to the hotel, and if it is a reservation agency such as this one, DO NOT book through them. This company is untruthful and fraudulent. It's a shame. I would leave 0 stars, but it wouldn't allow me, which is why I left 1 star.Reservation Counter, LLC

They never disclosed there was a mandatory fee of 15.99 when I made the reservation and canceled before 24 hours. Absolute junk they popped up first and made it seem like they were the actual hotel.Reservation Counter, LLC

Should be 0 stars. This business is a scam. They make it seem like you are on a hotels website, but charge a lot more than the hotel charges. I realized this as soon as I made a reservation and called the company to cancel and get a refund, but they still charged me $44 to cancel my reservation - minutes after I made it. This is completely unethical. I will call the hotel and tell them they should not do business with this company.Reservation Counter, LLC

What a SHADY SHADY Company. I called a Motel 6 in **** ******* **, 2 days ago to book a room in Feb 2024, I actually thought I was speaking to the front Desk, The CSR agent had a thick accent, and talked faster then me ( I live in NYC) My friend who lives in the springs said I booked the motel 6, I called the correct one the next day and spoke to a lovely gal, When I asked her to please cancel the other. She said she was not allowed ,and That I needed to call Expedia. ***. On to the Next call, I call Expedia, and they said this has nothing to do with then and gave me another #, ON to call # 3. I get another CSR , sounds like the same person I spoke to the day before, Very thick accent, would not tell me the name of his company, and very aggressive. Long story short he cancelled my booking, But said out right that they keep $ 15.99 as their fee. I lost it and hung up. After doing some digging, this company goes by many names and is based out UTAH. I have no issues if companies partners with others, But is a scam. The monies were back in my account today 12/6/2023, And I am now filling a claim with chase for $ 15.99, It's not the money, but the point of it , Shame on these poeple!Reservation Counter, LLC

I would give 0 stars...unable. This company is a rip-off, I went to a particular hotel website and called the number that was listed for making reservations. I thought that I was speaking to a person who worked for that particular hotel. When my call was answered, the person answered and told me that yes, indeed, I was speaking to a reservation specialist for that hotel chain. I was told that the price for each night would be $160,00, but to check on a better price once I had arrived at the ************, fast forward to our arrival. We checked in later in the evening, and the person at the desk told me that it looked like the price had already been changed to $113.50/night. He also mentioned something about Expedia and that a Mastercard had been used to pay for the room. I told him that I was confused since I have NEVER gone through Expedia or any other third-party group to book rooms, and my card that I used was a ***** The next morning, when I spoke to the person at the desk, she told me the same thing about Expedia and the Mastercard. Your company fooled me into thinking that I had dialed the number for the hotel that I was trying to reach, charged $160/night for the room on my **** card, and then charged $113.50/night on a Mastercard for my stay. So, you made $46.50/night off my stay. I learned my ****** the hard way about making sure that I am talking to the right people when making a hotel reservation. The $182 that you made from my stay was a plus for you, but not for me. On top of that, I was charged a $15.99 fee. The bottom line is that I was tricked into using your company without my knowledge. I am not a rich person. I had to drive 12 hours one was to visit my mother. I did contact the hotel chain to make them aware of what had happened to me, Unfortunately, there was nothing that they could do to help me, and I understand that. I just don't understand how you can take pride in cheating money out of other people and are still able sleep at night.Reservation Counter, LLC

I made a reservation through your company for 1 person, 1 week. I was charged six times on my credit card. I contacted customer service about the problem before I even checked in at the property. I was told by your customer service department prove it. I was sent an email showing only the one charge for the agreed amount . Why did you charge my discover card five more times and won't admit a mistake was made. Listen to the original call, and contact the property and both would prove I only wanted one week for one person.***************************Reservation Counter, LLC

1 starWe made a reservation through Reservation Counter for a two-night hotel stay in ******. We accepted that it was a non-refundable reservation. They immediately charged our credit card. When I called the hotel to confirm some of our details, the hotel said the reservation had been cancelled. When I contacted RC to get it sorted they were no help and said it would be reviewed in 5-7 business days for a trip we have planned in 2 days. We won't be using them again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
