So, after making a reservation with Reservasiondesk.com aka TravelWeb.com a service which is suppose to find cheaper rates for good folks. I found a ************ directly with the Hilton. I was not trying to get over, but if I could getter a cheaper rate. The Queen room with two queen **** was $145 a night - but then there was an additional $110 tax and FEES, with an additional $15.99 charge for the agent. But there is NO grace ******** ReservationDesk.com does not offer a service that gives the public a better deal. In fact they are taking advantage of people looking for a place to sleep. They took the time to escalate it to a higher level, only to do nothing. ITS A TERRIBLE SERVICE - the corporate heads are crooks. I don't know how they can sleep at night. SERIOUSLY!Reservation Counter, LLC

My mother contacted the number for Reservation Counter listed on the reservationcountner.com. website, trying to make a hotel reservation for my daughter's college graduation. Like the other reviews below, she was assured that she was speaking directly to a person onsite. Like the other reviews below, she was given this amazing deal for 2 rooms, but that there would be a booking fee of $1.95 to assist her. She went ahead with the booking, gave her card number, and asked for an email verification with her confirmation number, for our stay. We waited to receive the email confirmation but it never came. So, we decided to verify the reservation with the actual hotel. Surprise, the REAL HOTEL had ZERO evidence of the reservation. I immediately started researching this site for evidence of its legitimacy. Well, you can guess where I ended up, right here. Please, please do your research before booking with these criminals. We luckily caught this in time and cancelled her credit card to hopefully keep them from scamming her. I hope this helps stop this group!! They need to be SHUT DOWN!!Reservation Counter, LLC

This is a scam, I booked online and talked with customer service and the rate that was online was very different from what was charged to my account. Every time I would call to talk to someone, they would try to talk in circles to me. I definitely would not recommend anyone to use this company. Scammers Scammers Scammers. If I could put 0 stars I would.Reservation Counter, LLC

Thank you for your review, ********. Reservation Counter is an online travel agency. We book rooms for over ******* hotels worldwide. I can assure you we are not as scam. To provide our customers accurate pricing we request that hotels send us the most up-to-date pricing for their rooms at regular intervals. We also make an additional request at the time of check-out. Occasionally, due to the dynamic nature of hotel room rates, the price may be different when you book online or with one of our agents. I can assure you that you received the very best rate we had available at the time you booked. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused. I made a mistake thinking I was calling the reservation counter for the hotel. The ****** list of hotels had the name of the hotel and directly underneath the hotel name was "Reservations Counter". They named themselves like this to fool people who aren't paying close enough attention to detail and they got me. When they emailed the receipt I discovered that for a 2 night stay, I'm paying an additional night for their taxes and fees plus a $15.99 service fee, for a total of $114.69 in fees for two nights (one night from hotel is $118). I called to let them know that I got fooled by their name on the hotel web site list from ****** and that I had called the hotel to find out what the taxes and fees would be per night. He said they had not made an error and therefor there was nothing they would do. I said, "I made the error and in the process discovered your excess taxes and fees and additional service charge. I'm asking if you'll do the ethical thing and refund some of the excess fees." He repeated that they had not done anything in error and that they would do nothing. Next time, I call the front desk and verify who I'm talking with.Reservation Counter, LLC

Thanks for your review, *****. I'm sorry for the confusion. Reservation Counter is an online travel agency. We make reservations at over ******* hotels worldwide. Taxes and fees are dictated by the hotel suppliers and are not itemized when we receive them. Unfortunately, taxes and fees are included with the rate and can be a higher cost when you check-out. Like many booking agencies, we charge a service fee so we can provide 24/7 customer support. This includes providing service if you have an issue with your reservation or need assistance. Our staff is available any time you need us. I shared your information with our customer service manager. We will do our best to help you. COMPANY'S A SCAM!! Believe they even hire and train their employees as scammers cultivating a work culture of deceptive manipulation processing unauthorized amounts. They'll utilize "have to at least book a room to lock in group rate" tactic, and abuse use of "policy" method approach to protect themselves to manipulate and further benefit from victims by increasing rates midway through processing your transaction. DOES NOT PROTECT CONSUMERS from any potential employee "error" or scammer. Prior to authorizing transaction, verified pricing repeatedly with the **** ********* on the group rate of family coming in for a memorial service. ****** even repeated our verbal agreement prior to processing my transaction and then adding the policy at the end (false impression), which was a deceptive practice to then change the amount not previously discussed the entire time. Despite multiple verifications and verbal agreement (business practice principles), and extra verification of repeating verbal agreements made by ****** in closing our transaction (under false trust pretenses) he transacted my rate for a higher unauthorized amount. Immediately notified of the error made/scam. The phone rep gaslighted, used "policy" as an excuse (weaponized to shoot down any consideration or giving benefit of the doubt for possible operator error). Out of consumer's control whether/not transactions! It'll not get altered unless the rep/operator manipulated the transaction mid-processing. That rep then proceeded to try to manipulate by telling me it's the consumer's fault/mistake. Told him it was BS when it's not possible for me to process an unauthorized transaction as the rep/operator for the wrong amount. I was referred to a ******* who developed my case with a heads up that ***** will likely decline. Which she did, and provided an alternate option of forwarding to **************** to review. Status is said to be received in 7 days, yet still not guaranteed a correction/refund?Reservation Counter, LLC

I contacted what the number on a link attached to the Holiday Inn. I requested a one night stay at the Holiday Inn in ******* **. I gave them the specific address. The representative confirmed, gave me a quote and booked my stay. At the time I was less than an hour away from my destination. I requested an email confirmation. And I requested a text. I also asked the representative to stay on the line until I receive one or another. She disconnected the call. When I got to my destination I did bot have a reservation. They took my money. I called back. Waited on hold for 30 minutes to be told that I would be staying at another Hotel. A hotel that was never mentioned during the call. Not by me and definitely not by the representative that gave me the exact Hotel , its location, and name. I requested a refund immediately or the right Hotel. They refused. Theu knowingly stole my moneyReservation Counter, LLC

There is no way anyone should do business with these people. They told me I had reservations at a resort and then sent a confirmation showing the reservations were actually for a hotel that we had told them we did not want stay at. I probably spent three hours and god knows how many phone calls trying to cancel the unwanted reservation. I spent hours on hold and was promised return calls which never came. Certainly no mystery why they are not BBB accredited. They make it look like you are dealing with the place you want to stay at but you are not.Reservation Counter, LLC

I was misled by a Reservation Counter agent and my credit card was charged twice the amount I was told when I booked the reservation. I immediately called back upon receiving the email and was told they would have to "investigate". I received an email in which they state "After reviewing the booking call we have found that the agent made an error and misinformed the caller." I was offered either a full refund or a price adjustment. Since at that point, I had to make numerous calls to get action, I responded to their email stating that I wanted a full refund. Thirty days later, and I'm still waiting on the issuance the refund.Reservation Counter, LLC

Thought i was dealing with the hotel's reservation counter. Booked a room then they added ************ fees and more service fees. They charged my credit card immediately for a hotel booking that was a month away. Looked them up on the BBB. Lots of complaints. Cancelled the booking immediately, about 10-minutes later. Still have their $16 service fee left on my credit card.Reservation Counter, LLC
