      Horrible, went to ******** store with no customers in line in the gun department, the two clerks decided to walk off to another part of the store, I left. Went to the Fairfield store. Several folks picking up firearms or looking at them. Take a number, but only if you need assistance with a firearm. If you want ammo, stand in line in the ammo aisle and when there is time some one will help. Twenty five minutes in line and four more firearm customers still in front of me. I left. Never again.

      Never had a good experience here. Their products are overpriced and their customer service is bad. Every time I buy something here, a week or two later they discount it. It's f****** insulting.

      four people refused to wait on me at the firearm counter. they all waited on four other people who were there after me, two who were right next to me. no one made eye contact. I told a "manager" and he offered no solution. I told him I would not shop online or in-store again; not even an apology or offer to help me himself to buy a (very expensive) firearm-only a few people in the store. I don't know if it matters, but I was the only female...incidentally, one of the sales clerks was...how rude no stars...I should take back all the stuff I bought the other day...also, this forum is forcing me to "select a star" to leave this review

      Use to love going to sportsmans, no more, no help, went to check out, waited over fifteen minutes for a price over ride on mismarked item, watched two customers walk out, not ever going back again, even the cashiers was irratated and upset

      Placed and order and a *** label was created very quickly. The item was never shipped. A call to customer service was unsuccessful as the representative took the information, placed me on hold, and the call disconnected. Stay away from this company. buyers beware!!!

      As far as online shopping goes they are utterly HORRIBLE. They tell you at time of order when your item will arrive, order confirmation email also states when it will arrive. When it doesn't arrive and you call their useless customer service they tell you those dates are estimates, then say at point of order you have no idea when I'll get my order. Supposedly the computer chooses what store the item is sent from? So it coming from ******** makes more sense than ****** ** when I'm 1 3/4 hours away or from ****** ** that is 2 hours away. Bottom line is they have made more errors with my orders than they have gotten correct and will absolutely NEVER admit their mistakes. Buy absolutely ANYWHERE else.

      Horrible experience on more than one occasion. 1st I traded a handgun for a rifle. When I went to pick up the rifle they lost the magazine and never got me a replacement. They did offer me a gift card to make up for it but I had to buy that mag somewhere else. Then I signed up for their rewards card to get an additional $50 off. The card was approved but the online transaction failed. I called customer service and they said use another card. When I tried to use the card once it arrived that transaction also failed. I called the rewards card customer service and they said the charge was on the card and I would have to wait a week. If the item isnt shipped the charge will be removed. Needless to say the sale is over I never got my order that customer service cant find and I still have a pending charge on a credit card. My gift card balance was returned to the gift card though. I fear I may have to lawyer up to fight the charges Ill have to dispute.

      Dont be fooled by the sportsmans visa card they offer. They tell you that you will get 15% of your first purchase but what happens is If you get approved the card does not show up for you to use in your shopping cart customer service will say you can wait until it comes in the mail and still get the 15% THIS IS A LIE beware people beware.

      Sportman's Warehouse (SW) is a nightmare to deal with. I wanted to order a $1,000 gun from them in December 2022, but did not want to drive 1.5 hours to the nearest store. The nearest *** in their database was nearly 1 hour away from me and charges nearly $50 for a transfer. I emailed SW and asked them to add my local ***. They told me that *** "applications" were on hold and that I should reach back out after the first of the year. Applications?! These other merchants aren't applying for a job. They don't receive anything from SW nor does it cost SW anything to ship a gun to them. Nonetheless, I did just that and reached back out on 1/2/2023. At that time I was told my *** would be added to the database in **** business days. As of 1/15 the *** had not been added so I contacted them again. No response. I contacted them yet again on 2/7. No response. I contacted them again on 4/28 and once again included the ***'s information in my email. I received a response asking for the same information that was in the email they replied to. Nonetheless, I provided this information yet again. Several hours later I received an email that my request to add my local *** was declined because "An existing *** has already been established in the area where the *** is being requested within a 30-minute drive time." The email goes on to direct me to an *** located nearly 1 hour from my home with a fee that is double that of my local fee. Now anyone who is familiar with ********'s Warehouse financial history knows, the company hasn't done well in many, many years and will likely go under in the next ten years. So why would they turn down my $1,000 sale and thousands more just like it? The word on the street is that the new owners are very anti-gun and would rather not sell guns at all. As that political statement would be very bad for business, they instead simply make it so that buying guns is incredibly difficult. Shop somewhere else - anywhere else. Grade F!
