      I signed the contract on a Thursday and provided a deposit. According to the legal document and their tech the remaining balance would be withdrawn from my account on the following Thursday after install. I was surprised on Saturday when I saw the message from my bank that over $6k was withdrawn from my account two days after signing agreement and five days before install. I immediately called and spoke with one of the managers ****** who informed me that that the head install manager ****** processed the payment via error and someone would contact me. The tech called and apologized, never heard from ****** until the week after my install to schedule the final inspection with the county. On a Monday, we schedule the inspection for that same week a Wednesday and I rearranged my calendar to accommodate the time. Fast forward to the day of inspection, no one showed up so I called Cyprus only to be told the inspection was for the following Wednesday and that ****** clearly made another mistake. They even played back our conversation to confirm. I spoke with ****** who then told me I was lying that he staff would never say that about him and he then decide the conversation was over and hung up. I also asked for his managers info and he refused to provide,

      I'm so glad we went with Cyprus Air for a complete HVAC system. First contact was through ******** messenger. Friendly and helpful. Next was a phone call to set up an appointment. I wasn't thrilled with the salesman who came, and I question his knowledge on getting a tax credit. Be sure to ask about your own situation. This is the only reason there are four stars instead of five. Had he known DEFINITIVELY, I would have bought a different system. In the long run, I'm losing out on that credit, which he said would be a rebate. I got no response from the owner when I explained everything in an email. The techs who came did a wonderful job.

      100% deposit on contract signed Dec 6, 2023.
      Excessive price for a gas fireplace insert.
      The salesman is very slick.
      Total price paid up front on Dec 6th, 2023 and Installation did not begin until February 2024. No interest paid on my exorbitant deposit, but they did charge my account for a monthly maintenance fee before installation began.
      Installation dragged out for months. It is March 25 now and final inspection is still not done.
      Technicians often do not arrive after you have cancelled your plans and waited around all day. When they do arrive, they know nothing about the job.
      Customer must coordinate process by calling the office.
      Not easy to get through to a real person- you must work with the answering machine robot. All calls directed through one big irritating funnel leading to Wanda who does not want to talk to you.

      WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!

      My journey began in October of 2021 when my husband and I decided to place a gas insert in our traditional open fireplace. I went online and found Cyprus Air. They came to our home and did a quote with us, which we accepted. The goal was to have the fireplace inserted in before Christmas.

      The first step was a gas line to the fireplace. This was the beginning of the continuous problems that would develop for three years. We had multiple issues with the gas line, multiple technicians sent to our home, and had numerous inspections by Fairfax County fail before they finally sent out their “go-to” guy, who managed to fix the problem, leading to us finally passing the inspection on March 11th of 2022.

      Let me also note, that I made numerous calls to Cyprus Air during this time frame always with a promise of a return call, that NEVER came. I even walked into their showroom in Springfield to get answers after not being able to get anyone to answer my calls. I spoke with a supposed manager over the phone at some point, who also did not return the calls he made promised to do. I then asked to speak to someone higher, which, as far as I know, I did. That was when their “go-to” guy was finally dispatched. This “higher up” gentleman promised to follow up to ensure all went well. I never heard from him either.

      During the October to March timeframe, the technicians that were dispatched to our address were unprepared, in terms of supplies. They asked us for paper towels and a ladder at one point. The ladder, which was wooden, they managed to break; I contacted the “manager” who informed me he would look into what he could do to remedy the situation. Nothing was done.

      WAY more to this story! This is just the tip of the iceberg.

      “Kyle B***** from Cyprus Air was able to fix the issue with my HVAC system, and I’m grateful for his help. However, I had some issues with the team that installed the HVAC systems. According to the 4 technicians who came to troubleshoot, the installation was done incorrectly, and they had to fix many issues. They also mentioned that the team that installed the system needs more training. The wiring and thermostat settings had to be fixed, and the final technician, Kyle, identified one more issue. He pointed out that the technicians who installed the HVAC should have confirmed that the circuit breaker could handle the furnace they installed. Overall, I am not satisfied with the service provided by Cyprus Air, I hope they can improve their installation process in the future.” Kyle B***** I was very satisfied.

      I scheduled a gas fireplace inspection and tune up, responding to a Cyprus Air coupon advertising a regular price $464 service on sale for $230 with the purchase of the maintenance plan. The technician came out on Friday and cleaned the unit but was not able to fire it backup. I was told that I needed a pilot assembly replacement and that someone from Cyprus would contact me with my inspection invoice and a quote for the replacement part. Of course, this never happened, so I called the office and got the information. I was quoted $750. I chose to get a second opinion. The second company said the unit just needed to be properly cleaned and the pilot assembly is just fine. I am so disappointed with Cyprus Air.
      The good news is my fireplace is working just fine. The bad news is when I called to voice my concerns the Manager was interested only in defending their technician and stated that "the pilot assembly may go bad in the near future". What a joke! Needless to say, I'm stuck with the maintenance plan in which I have no confidence. Let the buyer beware!
