      I placed $50 on an account for an individual that was transferred there, however GTL did not inform me in advance the funds would not be available to use immediately and the individual was transferred prior to even using any of the funds. I called about receiving the $50 back SEVERAL times and was just getting the run around continuously, I dont believe theres a single individual that knows what theyre doing at GTL Via Path or theyre instructed to play ignorant intentionally just so they can keep the money on inactive accounts. I even asked if the funds could be transferred to GTL Connect Network instead so at least the inmate would be able to use the funds, but apparently nobody at GLT Via Path knew the answer to my question. This has continued for almost an entire year, now Im being told that I cant be helped because the account has been inactive for 90 days. This company definitely has a scam going on and since theyre currently the only company available, they dont care what people think or say.

      These people are literally the definition of evil. They make it impossible to do anything and even worse, if you need help theres no use calling customer service. Its just an empty line. You will sit on hold waiting for someone to answer until you physically can not listen to the free bird instrumental anymore without contemplating death. My husband was arrested over a week ago and has not been able to call my phone number the whole time so I attempted to call customer service and be left on hold long enough to find out where the ceo lives and find out Im surprisingly close. This entire chain of companies is a scam to prey on the vulnerable.

      They charge for calls that cut out and don't work AT ALL, and messages that are pending and NEVER send. They are a scam corporation and even if the recipient of these messages is a prisoner, there is no excuse. If people are paying for a service that service should be supplied. This is actually just taking advantage of families and friends with loved ones behind bars, and worse yet stealing money from these people. I've got a squeaky clean record and even if I didn't, how is it okay for this company to quite literally steal and scam, not only prisoners, but their families out of money like this? Quite frankly its appalling that its being left unchecked. Just look at the phone app score, the negative ratings are higher than the positives for these exact reasons and no ones looking into this?

      Repeatedly taking money from my account for calls that are short. Taking money when the calls are not used. Being charged $5 for one call being charged full price for partial calls. No response when sending emails. And possible for a person that works to actually call to talk to a person or leave messages whatever. Multiple times I have had money taken out of my account incorrectly.

      This year is a complaint against global tel link And how they are trying to extort money out of me when I made a honest mistake not knowing that I was being charged. On yesterday, I accidentally maneuvered on the web to this companys website trying to set up phone services so I can be able to get phone calls from my brother who is Incarcerated at ****************** When I completed The online form on the website and entered in my banking information and stuff they immediately charged me $49.99. I then proceeded to give them a phone call. No one answer in prompt us to leave a message. I did do such no one returned my phone call. So today I gave them a phone call and got a hold of someone requesting my money back and he goes to tell me that Im gonna be charged $14.99 for counseling the service. It do not state nowhere on their website that $14.99 will be charged for cancellation. These fees are being charged to me and it was a foreign representative that I talked who is not in my country America. This is not fair. This is extortion and I had it less than 24 hours never used anything off of it. Try to reach out immediately and still being bullied out of my money. I seek a full refund and a formal apology. If none of this is granted, I will be following a arbitration complaint against this organization for extortion, cyber Bullying and discrimination.

      If I could do minus stars I would. This company should be shut down. They do take advantage of people and their situation and trying to get a refund is a game you have to play with them to get it and it takes forever, but keep in mind you only have a short period of time (120Days) to do the refund. After that they keep the money

      The services are functioning at a suboptimal level if at all. The company should not be in business if they can't get my video to work if I permit them to access my camera. So once again thanks for disappointing my son because he can talk to his mom. All services provided by this company are garbage, to say the least, I could do a better job blindfolded with both arms tied behind my back. This is the only company I've had consistent issues with when it comes to communicating with my loved ones.

      GTL Getting Out services is unreliable and does not return the money that was accepted when app glitches. Messages will not go through but will still be charged. They offer apps for the inmates (i.e. iHeart radio, plutoTV) and charge the inmates account per minute however the apps do not work and continue charge the inmates when trying to access these apps. This has been an ongoing issue for months.

      Steal people's money and don't refund You have to put money on inmate for them to respond to messages but that's the whole point of having family account ..they read a message and money is pulled from account ..inmate wrote long message and then was logged out still charged went to log back in message saying insufficient funds like wtf

      Horrible company. They are able to take advantage of customers because they know that ********************** Connect is the only way to connect with our incarcerated loved ones. I asked to have three numbers removed from my account and asked for the funds to be refunded to me. I filled out the proper form and they won't answer. I wrote again, saying fine, just remove the numbers and keep the money (it became clear I was never going to receive a refund). No answer. Three more message forms with screenshot...no answer. Just a terrible company with no soul.
