      This company should be out of business immediately it uses the same name as the company you have to use to receive calls from incarcerated loved ones when you click on this site you assume that its the site but its not its something else but you dont realize til after you have put your info in and they immediately take ***** from you which is the plan because per their terms you cant get refund the whole amount they keep ***** and boom people thats how this company makes it money smh ridiculous. All of them imo getting over but this one should at least say its a 3rd party site before taking people ***** and keep 14 when trying to cancel because no one realize it wasnt the right site.

      Global tel link ( GTL getting out Telmate) my love one is currently inside their services is no good the calls keep on dropping, my loved one is having problems signing in all the time. For the last several weeks for at least two three days the phones have been off and when I call global Tel Link GTL getting out they say it's not them it's the prison so when I call the prison the prison says it's not them it's GTL so when I call back to GTL they say I can't do anything about the tablets that are happening in the inside the prison they say that it has to be one of the employees that work at the prison or the technician there. Isn't there should be a number some way somehow where we can help our loved ones from being in the inside when their tablets don't work, also my love one has downloaded a music app that my loved one has put lots of money on and they just decide to take the app away and not give my love one back there money how is that fair and we both put lots of money on the phone for calling and messaging the app should work good with no problems and also the phone will not let my loved one call out time to time and message as well. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with in my life their services is terrible their business is the worst

      This is the worst way to communicate with a loved one thus far. The app is glitchy, the site doesn't work properly most of the time. It takes a day after you deposit funds for you to be able to use them. You can't select pictures from your phone's library, and you can't send pictures from the online portal. **************** is insanely unreachable. Waiting over 20 minutes to speak with someone to help with your account is absurd. They need to go back to the drawing board on this one. Very disappointing. If I could give Zero Stars...

      This is the worst f****** app I have ever used. Their customer service is just as bad too. When I tried to explain that my phone does not give the option to send photos with the messages, I complained via email. They said I need to add more money to the account. I did. Nothing. Then the next email said I need to verify my account. I did. Nothing. Then the next email said to talk to customer service. After a 3.5 hour hold, they said they couldn't verify me over the phone and to update my account online. WTF? Later, I talked to a "supervisor" who hung up on me when he couldn't figure out my issue. Go f*** yourself ViaPath, GTL, Telemate and all the scam companies behind this f****** ******** app.

      This is the worst company we have ever had contact with, wish I would have read the reviews before even sending them money. The first few weeks we had no problem sending or receiving messages back and forth, then it was there was no money available on the account even though there was $50. Then I wasn't verified to use the site with still no money available. Called the 866 number several times, after sitting on hold for over 30 minutes each time someone finally answers and says "may I help you" only to then have them hang up on me before I could speak. Lousy company DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

      Unfortunately this company is taking advantage of a need and service involving loved ones. The company itself is making incredible money off of every transaction as well as the corrections facility it services. For that reason, it needs to be improved. For example, for every $10 submitted, plus tax, the company charges the payer a total of $13.33. The $.33 goes to taxes. The $3 is then pocketed and distributed. The company may pay the Correctional institution $1.50 for allowing the service, so they profit $1.50 on every $10. For every facility, an average of 62 facilities, $10 being a minimum payment, this company is making well over $300,000 yearly. When I say well over, I mean they are making well over the amount it takes to fix and properly maintain the communication devices.This should be illegal. However the demand is greater than the need to get it fixed. 0 stars if at all possible. Better Business Bureau rates, and that is a shame. I do hope someone from the BBB contacts the customer service phone number, just once.

      I believe the service ***** my loved one has been incarcerated for 30 days and throughout this process it's been very exhausting I've had anxiety attacks and panic attacks due to me or him not being able to talk over the phone on different occasions when the phone is out for 8 hours 4 hours one day 2 days and you're trying to call these phone numbers that you have to figure out what's going on and you are unable to even speak to a representative they say hold on we will get your representative and next thing you know the phone hangs up on you I've called one night at least 14 times and was unable to talk to any person these companies should be ashamed of themselves for charging people the amount of money that they do for the poor service that they provide

      I called for a refund that was on my inmate account in October 2023. They told me it will take 6-10 weeks to get my refund. After the 6-10 weeks I called back because I didn’t receive it. They said it was processed on November 1st 2023. I have called 20 times about my refund. They always say they will contact the billing department. I’ve asked to speak with someone in that department and they said they don’t take calls. I have spoken with Jessie. Employee ID # 1316790. He was very rude would not transfer me to a supervisor. Didn’t offer any help. Basically told me I have to wait. Telemate/Getting Out does not follow their policy. The customer service is terrible. I would like my refund immediately.

      Very glitchy and constantly goes in and out of phone calls. Texting doesn't even go through to the inmate most of the time recently. You're ripping the inmates off!! Do better!!

      They are scammers. The business pops up as inmate phone accounts then they only give you 15 days to cancel. When I realized it was NOT to add money on an inmate account I cancelled the service which was on day 18. Now I can’t get a refund even though I NEVER used the service.
