      Global tel link has provided tablets for the incarcerated population but those tablets and the service has been horrible. The wifi routers provided by GTL to facilities go out very often, the headphones provided are very low quality. When the rep goes into the buildings he only helps out 2-4 people out of many that put in a request to be helped and on top of that the rep only goes to each building maybe once a month sometimes once every 2 months. The quality of the video calls is horrible, beyond horrible. The quality of the calls is also not good. Since gtl is trying to resolve the contract with cdcr, no new movies have been added on. Why should that service be put on pause? We need better quality calls, more routers, better headphones, better video calling system and more reps to be able to help the incarcerated population!!

      Viapath is ripping off inmates and their love ones. I find it utterly disturbing how they are allowed to continue operating.

      They stole my $100! Never connected with family. Customer service and Supervisor were NO HELP at all. Someone has figured out a way to take our money using this service and have been successful. DO NOT SUPPORT them. Should of read reviews prior to putting money on their automated system. They literally say payment hasn't gone through so you will continue adding funds, all of which they stole in the end.

      If there was a negative with stars, that’s what I would choose.

      The customer service from GTL GettingOut is TERRIBLE!!! I spoke to someone today (10-23-23) who did not provide any solution. I was asked for personal information that you have in your system and have had for the better part of a year and a half. Everything that he told me to do from deleting app to reinstalling the app to re-logging QuickLink, and verifying account was done when I first started using this app.

      At this point, I’m skeptical about uninstalling and reinstalling because I have funds on deposit.

      The app was working fine and then your service definitely dropped below substandard.

      This kind of service is shameful. You are getting paid to provide a service, gtl is definitely falling short.

      Incoming calls get dropped mid conversation

      Most phone calls not even ringing through to me and other family members.

      Text messages on my end disappear in the middle of a text.

      I am seeing a huge number of complaints about GTL GettingOut on CDCR FACEBOOK. I will add mine to their FB page.

      I have been advised by the BBB to first write a review with you directly.

      I have scheduled two video visits with my husband who is incarcerated at St Brides Correctional in Chesapeake Virginia. Both visits have not happened due to the facility being locked down and GTL refuses to refund my money. The facility itself told me three times they have put a note with my account to refund my money because they were on a lock and the visit did not take place yet they still will not refund my money. They say they can look on the business and see the visits did not take place but still refuse to refund my money.

      Abysmal customer service. They do not have enough staff working to provide an acceptable response time for any request. To respond to a PAYING customer’s inquiry OVER 6 weeks later is completely unacceptable. They also don’t seem to care about their lack of effort and insufficient staff resourcing because they have a monopoly with providing communication services to incarcerated people. This company is an exemplar of unjust and exploitative behaviors!

      Gtl, takes your money. If your account is 180 days unused instead of them reimbursing you they take your money. It's not fair they they have your email, phone number, and address. But, they do not use those resources to send you a refund of your money. I just want my money back.

      You can call a million times but still have the same problem. Cant even video visit with loved one because of this company
