      This is company horrible. I don't understand why have customer service when they don't do anything but read a damn script and come up with excuses on how not to offer any support. The unfortunate thing is we are stuck with this company and they know it. They are more than willing to screw individuals over as there is no re-course from any government agency. What a damn waste of money and time.

      Please do not put a lot of money on your account to speak with your loved ones the company will rob you and you will never get your money back. You will be transferred from one person to another. You will not receive any support and if you ask to speak with a manager they’ll hang up on you. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT put money on a phone number you do not own through the friends and family service they offer. They do not tell you that you won’t be able to request a refund if you do not call from that number to make the request. If I added the numbers to my account and my paid the payment I should be entitled to the refund.

      I cannot get a refund for any of my accounts and they have basically pocketed over $100.00. While it may not seem like a lot it’s not their money.

      They are stealing money by refusing to issue refunds when you request are made.

      I’ve called and emailed them I received one refund in the amount of $15.00 but I want all of my money refunded.

      I am beyond frustrated and annoyed. I feel totally helpless and violated by a company that employs offshore workers to play games with your time and money.

      The GTL app is a complete scam and waste of money. I am always having problems with it, i have spent so much money on this app to talk to my loved one when the calls are free but since the phone app has been down for several weeks iv had to video. This app just drains peopls pockets and it never works properly. Iv sent sent numerous emails to the tec support and to speak to a live person....GOOD LUCK!

      I have been having problems with my service. I called customer service. I was being cordial. English was the persons second language. I had to repeat my problem 4 times. I called about the problem 2 weeks ago. Since I couldn’t receive phone calls on one phone I had to buy another phone while I tried to get help getting phone calls on one number. I was about to have the account with the problem go inactive which means they absorb my money. I’ve had over 50 dollars absorbed by this company. They treat their customers like crap. And give bad customer service because we can’t chose another inmate telephone company. The girl I talked to told me to quit talking and let her talk. Who treats a customer like that?? I was so frustrated I almost started crying. She said if I got my money back, from the faulty phone number I couldn’t ever receive calls on it ever again. All I want is to get my first number working again. I blocked the prisons number a long time ago and It shouldn’t be this hard to get it working.I hate this company and have never been treated so rudely by any company in my life. They’re scammers

      I waited on the phone for over an hour and a half just for them to put the problem in the prison facility. I spoke with the facility three times, and they noted was a GTL problem. Been having a problem with GTL for months regarding scheduling a visit and having NO real outcome. The BBB needs to investigate this business and its practices, as they are not holding anything or anyone accountable for their mistakes or services.

      Giving this company a 1 star rating is more than they deserve. The most incompetent communications system I've ever experienced. Very unreliable and will over charge on phone calls and delete your funds. Digital experience is just as bad. After registering I couldn't access my account. Then I couldn't create a new one. Try to call them on the phone and they're either not available or it's "after hours" for that particular topic of inquiry. I don't think they communicate with the correctional facilities regarding visitations and trying to navigate the whole terrible system takes an incredible amount of patience. They basically hold the key so to speak to me ever visiting my family member and I think it's just criminal that this company has that much power.

      This is such a horrible scam, you get email payment confirmations from different url's. gtl.net, and connectnetwork.com. You have to put money in the inmates account so they can send messages, but you have to add additional money in your personal account to respond. If an inmate leaves the facility, getting a refund is nearly impossible. They over charge, its just horrible what these people do to family's down on there luck.

      This is the most frustrating part of my husband being incarcerated. This site and service is absolutely trash. I have tried for 3 weeks and communicated with them so I could put money on my husband's books. I have spoken to multiple reps, all of which are useless. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU CAN AVOID THEM!!!!!

      I have had calls disconnected numerous times in the last few weeks with a recording that comes on stating "no third party calls allowed" and call is disconnected. There are no third party calls taking place. This is happening to a large number of people using this company services. If I am paying for a call, I expect to work properly and not claim inaccurate claims and disconnect my calls. The people we are speaking with have to wait hours just to place the call to have it disconnected for false reasons unexpectedly. Also they cant even call back right away like a normal phone call they have to wait a period of time before using the phone again and wait in line sometimes hours just to make the call. This needs to be resolved by GTL ? ViaPath asap.

      They updated their policy just under 30 days ago (Dec. 28, 2022), but will not honor any refunds for taking funds and "expiring" them after only 90 days of inactivity in 2022! They charge exorbitant rates and service charges to allow an inmate to call out, and yet think their newly published policy excuses their behavior and lack of communication to the customer any time prior. Horrible customer service. They don't give a damn.
