My 2022 VW was leaking oil and covering engine. I brought my VW to the dealership on Thursday 8/24, I have yet to actually get a call from the dealership to explain the findings. I have had to repeatedly call the dealership about my car to get any answers.
I am told my car will be repaired under warranty. While this is great news, it seems the dealership is less interested because it will be under warranty.
I'm confused, we purchase warranty's and often choose to purchase a vehicle because of warranty coverage. It seems this is not the case and warranty covered things are a burden to the dealership!!!!!!!!!!!!
This issue with my car, I've been told will ultimately end up as a factory recall. Which now worries me even more.
It is now Tuesday 8/29 and I am still without a vehicle. I've asked repeatedly for a loaner vehicle and have yet to receive a car. It has been one excuse after another, all of the loaner cars are being repaired as well, someone hasn't brought the car back, or we need to repo a car???
I need to get to work and I have no vehicle, some one at this dealership needs to take charge! I am concerned and have lost confidence that my vehicle will even be repaired correctly!

I have a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta TDI SE that has been in the service department since 9-7-2022 waiting on an Adblue tank , which is under Warranty, and still has no ETA. Contacted them to buy the car back and they said no and offered $2k for my troubles until car is fixed. I turned it down as that would make me have to just sit back with no recourse because I accepted their “shut up money”. Contacted Washington Attorney General and filed complaint. VWGoA offered $4k less than it would cost me to purchase the same car model with approximately the same miles. I refused that offer as I can’t and shouldn’t have to pay &4000.00 to replace my car that they are responsible for! They still have no ETA for the part. I feel that VWG oA does not care about their customers and therefore would not ever purchase a Volkswagen product again and would never recommend anyone else to purchase one either!

Unaccountable , leaving me without any resolution. Due to no confidence, I requested a buy back on my 2021 1st Id4.
As a 5-time VW owner in the past 10 years, I was an advocate for the brand. 2013 MK-6-R, 2014 30th Anniversary Jetta, 2016 Mk-7-R, 2018 Tiguan SEL, 2021 1st Edition Id4. My Id 4 has been a problem child, since October of last year (2022) recall notices were received for items, parts could not be allocated for to resolve, yet, among other issues resolved (headlight, etc.). Finally, on April 24th Lemon Law expiration parts became available, dealer had rescheduled me 4 times in 30 days due to no parts arriving. I was asked to drop off my Id4 on May 30, where it spent right at 60+ days. towards the end I got for a week and had to take it back for Electrical System Failure and Brake System Failure needing Service, not comforting to see when you are at highway speeds. Reckless and unaccountable how VW has treated my circumstances having denied a buy back request. As mentioned, I only exceeded my Lemon law time frame due to them not having and not shipping parts timely. I forwarded all service details (local dealer did all they could with what they had. no direct contact, generic 800. I am floored as to how disgusting their treatment and response to me beyond reasonable circumstances have been. We will never own another VW in our household again and will for certain post on every media channel and discourage anyone from doing so. Seriously all I did wrong was buy a car. By the way they have low skillset and distinctively poor speech call center people who cannot cannot speak properly. I'd rather work through a language barrier with someone enthusiastic and intelligent. A Colossal Cluster as the thanks for my loyalty from VW. My buy back was denied, no other options or compensation offered.

The purpose of my email is to inform you that I am not satisfied with my vehicle as it has numerous issues. I firmly believe that my vehicle could be unsafe since it has coolant, engine, and alternator issues within the first year of ownership. I dropped off my vehicle at Volkswagen of Nanuet on Tuesday, August 15th. I would like to be considered for your vehicle buyback program. I purchased my 2022, Atlas Cross Sport in new condition. Additionally, I don't believe the components that I mentioned should be failing this soon. I cannot take off from work to continuously return to the dealer for repairs. I believe the workmanship of this vehicle is not up to previous standards and the manufacturer's reputation. I have not experienced any of these concerns within the first year of vehicle ownership. I have not experienced these issues at all. Please let me know the options that are available as this problem does not sit well with me and the dealer's warranty is not acceptable at all. I'm under the pretense that this car is going to be a headache and not worth the investment. I'm only interested in the BUY BACK Program.

First year of ownership till the second year I take in for maintenance. Come to find out the groundhogs are addicted to my wires and car parts. They’ve eaten all my sensors off my car now my car feels dry it unsafe to drive. It doesn’t cover under warranty due to them saying it’s an outside influence am I insurance doesn’t cover it due to it being an outside influence and it’s costing me the consumer to pay for rewiring of my vehicle. I feel Volkswagen owes me a new car and they need to put disclaimers on products of their vehicles stating that they are made of soy and coconut oil and they can be addicting to gophers beavers anything that’s of the vegan interest of outside. I need a new car and not one that’s made of 2020 or more

My 2015 VW Golf TDI has been patiently awaiting a Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Tank since May 2022, a concern impeccably covered by the extended warranty. With an enduring loyalty to the Volkswagen brand, I have stood by as a steadfast supporter for a significant period. However, my deep disappointment stems from the handling of this matter by Volkswagen Customer Support. Their proposal of a $2500 settlement emerged, accompanied by assurances that my warranty would continue to address any arising issues. Yet, this proposition was not without strings – it required my silence regarding this ordeal in a bid to maintain positive brand perception. Initially enticing, the offer lost its luster after a discussion with my legal counsel. Their expert guidance led me away from accepting, as it would have shifted the entire liability burden onto me. Accepting would have meant retaining a non-operational vehicle, triggering a shutdown after a mere 1,000 miles, rendering the car immobile. Furthermore, considering the accumulating repair costs over the year the vehicle has languished in a parking lot, the expenses would have surged into the thousands. The effort to swiftly conclude the matter with a meager settlement fails to resonate with me. I harbor a sense of discontentment towards the seemingly undervalued offer, as it seeks to prematurely close this chapter without adequate resolution.

I am very disappointed with the Volkswagen Group of America, inc. I leased a 2022 Atlas in Oct. of 2021. I was in a minor fender binder where air bags were deployed. The truck was in the shop for 21 Months waiting for passenger side air bag & relay. I contacted Volkswagen Credit in Libertyville Illinois.
Volkswagen Credit's (leasing group) response was there was nothing they could do and I would still have to make the payments of $894.00 per month. They gave me a customer care phone number in Michigan but they could not do anything for me. I called the main office talked with a rep. She got back to me the next day and said there was nothing they could do for me and by the truck being in an accident it was too old for a buy back. The truck had 340 miles on it at the time of the accident.

FALSELY SUPPORTING VETERANS. VOLKSWAGEN ADVERITISES A MILITARY DISCOUNT THAT YOU CANNOT QUALIFY FOR. THE COMPANY PRIDES ITSELF WITH SUPPORTING VETERANS BUT REFUSES to give Veterans a measly $500 discount unless you are WITHIN 24 months of having left the military.
In other words, you served in Vietnam, Korea, Desert Storm or recently in Afghanistan or Iraq but didn't RETIRE and I guess you don't get ****!!.
According to them, you ONLY qualify if you are WITHIN the 24 months of leaving the military! Go to Toyota and other car makers instead, they at least respect VETERANS..
      ************************************************
According to the special offer ad on VW.com: Volkswagen of America, Inc. will pay a $500 Military and First Responders Bonus for qualified active duty U.S. Military service members, U.S. Military Veterans within 24 months of active duty. U.S. Military retirees (Retirees must have served 20+ years in the military), First Responders (Police Officer, Sheriff/Sherriff's Deputy, Correctional Officer, State Trooper, Federal Law Enforcement Officer, Firefighter, EMT, Paramedic, 911 Dispatcher/Operator) and their family household members who purchase or lease a new, unused MY15-MY22 Volkswagen model (excluding Golf R) through participating dealers from January 4, 2023 to January 3, 2024.

I bought a Volkswagen Atlas In December with the certified warranty and when it started having MAJOR problems a few months later. I brought it in after waiting 3 weeks to get an appt with the service department. They acknowledged there was a problem but they said that they can’t do anything to fix it because it won’t read an error code. I’ve been dealing with them for months to try and fix the problem and now I can't even get a response. Now I have a car that the emergency brake kicks on randomly driving down the road as well as nonstop beeping from all the sensors and they refuse to answer me. I reached out the Volkswagen directly and they too said they will not do anything about the problem. They are okay with people driving around in unsafe conditions. I will never buy another Volkswagen again and I would suggest nobody buy one. They will not honor warranties and do not care about their customers.

Brought my 2015 Passat in for serve. Dealer heard a “ticking” noise. Told me the timing chain tensioner needs to be replaced. The car only has 69,000 miles on it. Volkswagen previously had a class action lawsuit covering cars that had this problem between 2009 and 2014. Mine is a 2015. I guarantee they use the same parts.
Dealership calls me today and tells me the cam shaft also needs replaced. All part of the same problem. Called VW headquarters and they told me to pretty much F off. “”5 GRAND”””Top it all off I just bought a brand new 2023 Tiguan for my wife. Never again. EVER
