    I can't say enough great things about Alan's Factory Outlet. We had an amazing crew come out and install this beautiful (and well-made) steel 12x20 building on 12/8. It exceeds expectations in every way. The customer service was also exceptional from Loretta in Mount Airey, NC. Could not ask for a better experience!

    This company is just a middleman. You're better off going directly with a company that'll do the work. I don't recommend Carolina Carports, who they use, though. They also require you to pull all the permits. In Florida, they have you pull the permits as owner/builder which requires you to be part of the building process. This is illegal as not everyone is going to actually be part of the building process. You can complain all you want to Alan's factory, but they put the blame off on the company they contract to install the building as well. They are just a nightmare to deal with and I will not be using them again for any of my other properties.

    Ordering was easy. Didn’t take into account the gussets taking away a couple of feet of clearance at the top of the side poles when designing but wouldn’t want the structure to be taller than it is so we’ll work around it. Installation notification was not smooth. Never told what time frame the crew might show. No phone call on day of installation to let me know they were even coming. Had to email Alan’s to get an answer. Carolina Carport was installer. Finished in dark and didn’t pick up screws. Next day before moving the RV into the carport and found 36 screws. Flat tire waiting to happen. Also a few pieces of sharp sheet metal. Would have been nice if they had magnetically swept the concrete after finishing.

    Ordered in February, Now it is nearly December and getting the same response. Since we are small customer less than 6000$ we stay at the end of the line and may never get the unit ordered.. Horrible run around customer service, Not honest about the process, If they don't care about the small customers dont take the orders.

    After waiting for my carport for five (5) months, I'm disappointed that one whole side is in very bad shape.

    So far, so good. The designing and ordering were very straightforward and easy. I'm happy that Alan's will set up the carport for me.

    I used Alan Factory Outlet and ordered a garage August 17 2022. Alan doesnt do garages Carolina Garages does the installs and they have the worst reviews I have ever seen. According to Alan Factories web they give suggest dates but Carolina says they have no guarantees. I am not sure how Alan's who doesn't do installs has a 4.8 star when they dont even install but rely on Carolina garages who reviews are terrible. I was told they were being held up by snowy weather up North. How is that when were experiencing the hots weather in history. This clearly the inability of both companys to hire enough certified people to do the job. However, they sure will take your money. I will contiue to post reviews on weekly basis to keep you informed of the issues. So you can see how long it takes.

    The ordering process was quick and easy. The employees at Alan's Factory Outlet was friendly helpful and professional when I spoke with them concerning my order. The 20'x35' Carport was neatly and professionally installed in one day. The Contractor and his crew done a good job cleaning up after the RV Carport was installed. The Contractor arrived on time.

    Ordering was easy as usual, waiting on delivery. This is my 3rd carport from Alan's, only issue I've had, is the installers didn't call the morning of installation for directions, and they were fixing to put it in my neighbors concrete slab. Luckily I knew they were coming that day, but they was supposed to call again to follow me to the installation site, so I didn't go to work awaiting their call. They went by GPS, this particular site was at my camp, and GPS coordinates are wrong, but I heard them at my neighbors and went down the rd and advised them they were at the wrong spot. This 3rd one is also going to the camp, but all they have is my home address to avoid any confusion, they can come here, and they can follow me. All in all, I am very pleased with the product.
