      Please stay away. The billing services are incredible terrible. They are completely taking advantage of people seeking healthcare. Do not trust this company to bill you fairly or accurately. I was on a call with billing support to set up a "payment plan" and they charged me the full amount and hung up. I called back and the support put in a request for me to get me a "payment plan" and I would be refunded... That did not happen. I believe the payment plan is not real. The billing support will not give you the supervisor name or contact info, they say the manager is in a meeting and will call back.. they never call back. It's extremely disappointing and unethical. I have to stop seeing my counselor because I cannot deal with billing support charging me $420 when I agreed to a $100 payment plan. The billing support will do nothing they put you on hold and tell you they will call you back. They charge your card on file the full amount weekly. I'm not one who can afford a weekly $100+ bill. All of the business replies here are completely fake they are going to do nothing to resolve these complaints.

      They are horrible company. Please don’t attempt to get help from them. Thriveworks therapist are non competent, they will make you worst and desperate for help. Not only that, they charged my credit card of $135 the day they cancelled my appointment and rescheduled another day. The billing has no contact number I was told. Then she called me 3 weeks after and she says she will refund my money back, turns out she never did. I called my bank to dispute and return the money to my account, then the charged was return to thrivewoks. My credit card became negative, I got charged for over charged and late fee. I complained I was told it will take 200 to 400 days to refund.

      The service was great it was very convenient my problem was my card was charged for a no call no show session and I show up for my session this put my account in the negatives I am new to the company and as a customer first impressions is the best impression I am not impressed at all very unsatisfied they lost me as a client will not refer anyone to this company

      I have had a horrible time with customer service. Unfortunately, my therapist and psychiatrist have been wonderful, which makes it harder to leave. However, billing/customer service have made me cancel all services. My insurance was not updated through Thriveworks, and I did not know. I was randomly charged ~$3,000+ from my checking account due to being “self-pay”. For me, this was detrimental. I was charged overdraft fees from my bank and forced to use a credit card for necessities such as baby formula, diapers, milk, food, etc. which then incurred interest fees. I reached out to customer service on 1/5/24 with no response. I reached out again on 1/12/24 and finally received a response on 1/26/24. I provided my updated insurance promptly and was told they had rebilled all claims from last year and once approved, I would be refunded. However, they never did that and now 90 days have passed for almost all the claims, meaning they cannot be authorized through my insurance. I am out of that money with no refund.
      This has been a nightmare. I would not recommend this company to anyone. It is clear that they are only after the money.

      Thriveworks billed my insurance under the wrong provider for services in August 2023 and my insurance denied the claim as the provider they listed was out-of-network. They attempted to charge my credit card the full balance but it declined. I called them, seeing the declined transaction, then called my insurance to find out why insurance did not cover the services. I confirmed with them that the provider I saw was in-network but insurance explained that the bill was submitted with a different provider (a provider I NEVER saw). To resolve, my insurance explained that Thriveworks needed to resubmit the claim with the correct provider. I contacted Thriveworks, they said they would do so. A month later, they tried to charge my card the full amount. I called Thriveworks, they said they resubmitted the claim. I called my insurance, no claim was ever resubmitted. I callded Thriveoworks again, told them my insurance never rcvd the resubmission. As of today, it's still "pending".
      In January 2024, Thriveworks attempted to charge my credit card $135 for a No Show Fee for an appointment THEY canceled back in November 2023 (due to the provider leaving their practice the day of my appointment). Thank god, due to the above issue, I had canceled that credit card. They refused to remove the No Show Fee until I forwarded them the emails I had from the scheduling department regarding the abrupt separation of my provider from their practice.
      When I tried to find a new provider through Thriveworks, they recommended several and ALL were out-of-network. Thankfully, I did my homework. It was ME who realized all of their recommendations were out-of-network even though I had asked them to provide names of those who accepted my insurance (and included a copy of my insurance card with the email correspondence).
      I offered to pay an outstanding balance of $10 that I do owe by check since I do not trust them with my CC. They refused - they only take CC.
      Do not use Thriveworks.

      An absolute horrid company. Therapist canceled initial appointment so we rescheduled. Therapist then canceled second scheduled appointment. So I switched Therapist as this seemed to be a routine. When you have a patient in need for this type of service putting them off is the absolute worst business practice. Their customer service across the board is by far horrific. They have no clue how to find documents ie., consent for me to speak with them on behalf of my daughter. (Ive made ALL appointments for my daughter) My daughter has spoken to them only twice in addition to signing a consent. Each time they assured we wouldn't have any further problems. That was a lie. Just hung up on another extremely incompetent phone worker who is either to lazy to look or incompetent enough to research for proper documentation. This company is playing with emotional patients and it's not funny. It's indeed scary that their even in business. The service they advertise is opposite of what you actually receive and they should be totally avoided if you're in need of therapy.

      They keep your credit card on file and then randomly charge to it without authorization before even attempting to bill both primary and secondary insurance. The latest charge that came across my credit card with no warning was for 4 separate sessions, 3 of which had already been paid for. I spent well over an hour on the phone with customer service without them being able to comprehend what the issue was, even though I continually directed them to look at the two last receipts showing duplicate billings for the same dates. A request to speak to a supervisor was met with "He's in a meeting and will call you back," which never happened. I even followed up with an email, including a thorough explanation and copies of all documentation. It's been 4 days, and still no response. Their billing representatives have no idea what they're doing and will rob you blind!

      As a registered nurse seeking counseling help for PTSD this organization is a fraud. I needed help filling a claim and was told they couldn’t do that so I informed the provider I would not be able to use the services. I never received any counseling but I was charged $130 for a session. When I called to inquire and dispute I was told the charge was for a no show which was completely false. The representative later decided to issue a refund but she would not start the process until Friday today is Wednesday and then it would take 3-5 business day to process. So in essence the refund process would not start until Monday . The counsel I spoke with didnt even seem credible. This organization is a scam. Had I accepted service they were suppose to,charge my PPO health insurance provider not me. STAY AWAY!

      Thriveworks have horrible billing and communication services. When I had to switch therapist because my old one wasn’t available, I reached out to them to get a therapist in my network. They gave me one only for months later to be overcharged. When I called to ask about the problem, I was told that it was done improperly and no other detail. They did it again the following month and billed my card. This time I called my insurance only to be told that they gave me an out of network therapist. That was communicated to them previously but they did not tell me as I was their cash cow I guess. They did the wrong thing and never gave the information for it. I canceled all appointments thereafter and they are still billing and modifying previous statements. This is immoral and a form of abuse/ harassment at this point.
