These 5 stars or for a guy who helped me today on the help line named David, in the fraud and digital department.

I have been having a constant problem with my credit card being blocked sense March… I’ve been to 2 different stores in person.
No one there could figure it out, not even the BOSS.
I even got a brand new credit card not once, not twice, but THREE times to try and resolve this because no one knew what the block was, or how to resolve it.
I’ve been on the phone with at least 2 dozen people over the past several months and they all didn’t fix my issue.
      But David did.
      Be like David,
Don’t give him a “good job” fist bump, give that man a large raise and keep him there. He’s the reason I didn’t switch banks today because it was literally my last straw.

PS, your mobile app is horrible, and the passwords to log in never work, although they do on desktop. Maybe look into that.

Anyways, promote David with MONEY, not a gold star/thinly sliced pizza party.

I will look into this and assure he was givin a raise.

Money Federal- I mean Navy Federal went into my savings account and seized all of my funds from my savings account, In this formidable financial climate seizing all of the funds from my account, I owed them money from a checking account that was closed, Navy Federal prevented me from withdrawing any funds from the savings account as they wanted all the money. I was left without having the ability to pay may bills.

It has caused me to question , why do I even need to have a bank account . I have no control was my money is in the hands of a bank. I am hurt, angry and livid.., I hate Navy Federal Bank

Navy Federal Credit Union’s underwriting department is a joke. After going through an arduous process of providing a mountain of documentation short of birth certificates for my family, and providing proof of employment from both government (military) and civilian employers with guaranteed income, I was denied on a HELOC application before I had a chance to submit all appropriate documentation. Apparently customers with multiple streams of income with good credit can’t qualify for HELOCs on their primary residence even after proving income streams with sound justification. Definitely closing my accounts (personal & business). I would not recommend doing business with them.

I filed a fraud claim with Navy federal fraud department over a month ago that spent about 3 hours to complete. After a week I received only 2 out of the 4 charges from the same merchant as a provisional credit. I called navy federal and was told that that was regular procedures because it’s still being investigated and that I should be receiving the other 2 shortly. I waited a week and called again, was told I requested to withdraw the last 2.. why would I do that? There were 4 fraudulent charges from a phishing scam that got all of my debit card info I had to close all 3. I asked WHO made that authorization to withdraw 2 of the charges owed to me? They said the fraud department (whom I wasn’t allowed to speak to anymore according to the agents) removed them by my request and I advised multiple times I NEVER withdrew anything. It doesn’t make sense if it’s fraud from the same place why would only 2 be valid and not the other 2. I have since spent 3 more hours with approx 6 more agents whom kept saying I withdrew and nothing has been escalated. Allegedly a ticket or claim had been added to fix the problem but not that any agent could find… and don’t let me forget how incredibly rude, impatient, unempathetic, disrespectful, and unprofessional every agent has been since I filed this. I’m not mean, I don’t yell, I’m extremely patient even after all this unnecessary time wasted and aggravation caused I wonder if my account has some sort of pop up letting their agents know to treat me horribly. I can’t figure out how I’m earth I get so lucky to have had all the last agents be cold, rude, talk over me, what is it with navy federal today? Over a month later my issue is NOT resolved. First time I’ve ever had a problem like this with navy federal I don’t want to think of every having another with them where they don’t take care of me when fraud happens on my account. I’m beyond disappointed with NF as a whole. Agents, supervisors, fraud department ALL dropped the ball !!

DO NOT get a vehicle loan with this unprofessional, crooked banking institution!!! They are disorganized and very rude. They litterly care nothing about veterans or their families. Completely lied to me, then 7 months after making car payments on time told me I was at fault for with holding information on a car refinance loan. Gave them the title, they lost it, then blamed me! Raised my interest rate from 6% to 16% without even telling me until after they had Raised it, making it to late to alleviate the situation. Crooks!

I would give a negative review if I was able. Still fighting with them about my account and still nothing has been done about it. Was told 10 to 15 business days and it's now been 29 business days. They are now saying 30 to 45 business days. Like really. I feel it is going to be a law suit against them.

I spoke with 2 different departments and by far one of the best customer service experiences I’ve received in a while. Very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly people. My daughter even complimented the service as well!

Loans, great! Checking/Savings Bill Pay abysmal. I got a Home Equity Loan with Navy Federal and the rates and terms were excellent, communication was fantastic, customer service was outstanding. For some reason they couldn't easily transfer the funds to my existing bank (which should have been a red flag), so instead of waiting for a mailed check, I opted to open a NF checking account, and the loan funds transferred there, and pay bills out of that. Do NOT do this. Have them mail you a paper check, and do not open a NF checking account if you want to use their Bill Pay service to pay your bills. It is run by a 3rd party vendor, and they do not process your payments when you specify, even if it is a week in advance. No one tells you that your bill haven't been paid - in fact, NF's site says that the payment has gone. You have to reconcile your checking account or check with the vendor you want to pay to see if it has been received. There are "reasons" for this that make no sense if you have an actual bank's Bill Pay service. Bottom line is that you have no idea when your bills will be paid if you use NF's Bill Pay service. Navy Federal just isn't a full-service banking institution, but for loans and credit cards, it's great.

They tried to charge me for a new car loan in which I never even had a chance to start a new car purchase. The jumped the gun. Now they are taking too long to remove that loan. I am so done with using them for car loans. Their service is going downhill.

I opened a Navy Federal Credit Union Account and had my direct deposits transferred to my account there. While riding my Harley, my phone fell out of my vest pocket and smashed the screen and digitizer. I was unable to verify myself because of this. So I changed my email and phone number after it happened and because of this my account was flagged as fraudulent. I been fighting with them since 3 October 2023. I was unable to access my account so the security appeal memo went unnoticed until I called in around the 23 October 2023. I was then told 10 to 15 business days and today is the 16th business day. I have yet to get any more info other than it's being worked. This never should have happened. My nearest branch is 3 and a half hours from me. They told me I could go to a local branch. Well that's a whole day process. 7 hours of riding my Harley and probably 2 hours there. They need to understand stand life happens, phones break. Something has to change with them. I will be calling an attorney to help resolve this and hopefully make them change them change things. As it creates hardships for us veterans and service members.
