This place has no loyalty to the
Customers. And I've been with them almost 10 year's. Why can't you cancel a mobile deposit if it's your money? Ppl have the right to change there mind if they don't agree with your process. Not give a customer the run around and still nothing happens but to tell me "I'm sorry but once the process has started we can't stop it". Red flag! That sounds more fraudulent then the accusations you throw out to customer's when u think they're check is fraudulent. If you can't verify and check faster than that in 2023 then they might as well cancel all banks! Debit is winning!

DO NOT BANK WITH THESE CRIMINALS! I have been a member of NFCU for over 25 years I have financed my last 4 homes I applied for an equity Line of credit and again had to keep refilling out paperwork that I have already filled out and told it was my fault it was incorrect when it was clearly there's I had copies of the initial paperwork submitted. This Equity line of credit went back and forth to underwriting 3 or 4 times after over 40 something days I received yet another call from hanifa the loan processor informing me that a hard pull had not been conducted on my credit even though I authorized the lady that took my application over the phone in the beginning of Sept to proceed she even read me the disclosure and all etc. Ok so following that I was told I would not need a full house appraisal then on Oct 12 I was told I need one so I was like ok just do it then fast forward to today oct23 when I was told a hard inquiry was needed that only a soft inquiry was done and that my income was still being verified by underwriting and that oh you need a full home appraisal I said WHAT you already told me that and I authorized you to proceed back on the 12th she said well I can do it today unfreaking believable! So then I went on to explaining to her how loyal of a customer I have been and ask for a supervisor and yet she couldn't connect me to one...hmmmm so I called back and got a hold oh her supervisor reiterated everything and told her to cancel my loan I'm done giving my business to them and she was ok ..did not even apologize for how I was treated did not care how long of a customer I've been etc so yeah I currently have a brand new truck I just purchased with a nfcu loan and my current mortgage and I'm debating whether or not I even want to make another payments to them crooked frauds every again! Planning on closing my accounts and banking with another bank at the very least I'm done NAVY FEDERAL you crooks could give 2 craps about veterans!

Racial profiling at this branch towards blacks putting extreme holds on cashiers checks. If you can all blacks need to avoid this location calling corporate is not helping.

Consumer Loan’s Department is an absolute dumpster fire. They just aren’t interested in accomplishing any work and certainly don’t value your business.

Applied for an Auto Loan, with excellent credit, low debt to income ratio, long term employment, and long term membership with NFCU…and while I was pre approved, it was for a less than favorable APR. When you call to ask for some more details, all you will receive is “it’s based on our proprietary internal policies”. They won’t even provide you with the information that you’ll receive on a letter in the mail 7-10 days later. Just an overall terrible banking institution when it comes to consumer loans.

I haven’t had any real issues with the banking side of the house, but lets be honest…how bad could you really mess up the banking side of the house?

Business decide to hold my account restricted without my knowledge and kept it open stating one could deposit money into account but not withdraw again without notification. So for over 30 days account was purposely kept open for this business to make a profit. The only resolution was to provide them a written statement and my driver's license. As a veteran and guardmen this institution access to military installation should be investigated.

tried to get an equity line on a home paid off and they told me I was approved then told me I was not approved. I have good credit and income. I was approved to purchase a home with another lender for $500k and Navy federal could not give me a loan for an equity on a property they could take if I did not pay it back makes zero sense to me.
I received a letter from my insurance company that a lien holder was added to my insurance on my property that is paid off! How can they do this? This will be a waste of my time to remove this.

Opened an account in order to apply for an auto loan. I was treated a high school graduate that is just starting to build credit and was offered 4 % above the advertised rate due to my credit history. I have 20 years active duty and never been late on a payment in my entire life. I have paid off dozens of auto loans and have a credit score that fluctuates between 780-805. When I asked to speak to a supervisor just so they can explain to me what they are seeing they were unable to give me a good reason other than the rates have been going up. That should be a factor because I still should have qualified for the best rate available for the months and type of vehicle (used or new) regardless. I pretty much got "it is what it is" and that they couldn't even tell me what the decision factors were. I just went with the regional credit union for a quarter more than Navy Fed's best advertised rate and saved myself the trouble. What an awesome "military friendly" banking institution this is.

DO NOT BANK WITH NAVY FED EVER. I just opened up my account and they have permantely banned. me from banking with them because they supposedly suspected "fraud". When I called and spoke with someone, they read me my transactions and every last one was my doing. I then spoke to the security department, in which they stated my zelle had suspicious activity, mind you the only transactions were between one person (who sent $100) and MYSELF as i transfer money from my other bank to this account to put into my savings. Nonetheless, there was absolutely no fraud activity and my account has been permantley closed leaving me no access to my logins or documents. It's even more disappointing that they dont warn you or reach out asking you about your recent transactions before completely closing your account. The security department is TRASH. I now have to find a Navy Federal that is actually near me to withdraw my entire savings.

Unless you are rich they do not want to help you. My husband and I have been members for years.... always on time paying.... multiple accounts, ect... then COVID happened and I lost my job and got pregnant at the same time. Since having my daughter, I haven't been able to find work because Im watching her and I can't afford daycare.... so it's just been my husband's income and it's been incredibly tight. So when things got too tight to make payments I called their credit department ( personal financial plan) and asked if there was anything that could be done? That I really wanted to work this out with them and not go elsewhere ... but to be on good terms with them. They said because I asked for a 30 day extension when my mother in law passed away I exceeded their help and they wouldn't help any further. That I could call credit counseling or other programs to help.

So I found a 3rd party to help me. I'm communicated the entire way and told them that I was with Beyond financing and they told me that 3rd parties send program information to them to make arrangements. I confirmed beyond financing did send program information but that they could have cared less. In fact, they stole $500.00 from my husband's and I checking account that was going to pay to keep the lights on and also the program to help pay THEM back.

I'm writing all this to hopefully warn other young couples who are Veterans please stay away from this bank. They are happy to take your money but if you have any hard times what so ever they will NOT help you in anyway and then steal from you. Stay FAR away!!!

I’ve sent to the bank located at 314 Horsham Rd Unit D-1, on Friday 09/15. I received a check from my insurance company and was going inside to deposit it. When I walked in the line was very long with one trailer working. I went to walk out when the young lady at the booth stated that I could you the ATM machine. I told her it was for a lager amount and she said it’s no limited and I’ll be fine. I check my account on Monday and nothing pending. When I called Navy F. They said my check has been rejected and to go into the bank and get my check to deposit it with the trailer. When I tried to do this on Tuesday the lady said that wasn’t possible bc they didn’t have it and that I needed to wait for another check to be mailed out to my house. It’s now Thursday 09/21 and nothing, I’ve spoken to so many people in the past 4 days who have given me the run around, from reaching out to my insurance company to reissue me a check bc one wasn’t coming to my house to it will be at my house between 7-10 days. No one hasn’t still given me an answer as to why it was rejected or no proof of documentation explaining to me what’s going on. I feel like my money has be. Stolen and I myself have no palate trail of anything. Everyone I’ve spoken to have been lying and have not helped me. My insurance company won’t send me a new check until 30 days or until the bank send me some type of information. When I them tried to provide that information to the lady she then said she didn’t need it but proceeded to tell me I will receive documents…HOW & WHEN!! This has caused me sooooo my stressed smh my anxiety is through the roof and I’ve been frustrated with the lack of empathy from everyone, I have spoken to. Ohhhh then the branch manager was very rude and disrespectful. She just kept telling me how many years she have served with the company and that she knows what she’s talking about then threaten to call the police on me.
