On 25 January my wife tried to make a mobile deposit into our Navy Federal account and was told she had to open a checking and a savings account with her as primary even though she's on my account. It was stated to her that this was required in order to be considered a member, so she opened both accounts and then called to notify me of the situation. When I called Navy Federal Credit Union to complain they stated that she only needed to open a savings account and not a checking account and that they don't know why someone would tell her she needed to open both. I asked if it was commission based and did not get an answer, but was told that they would put my complaint in the system and that I would get a phone call by 28 Jan 25 at the latest. It's now 4 Feb 25 and I still haven't received a call or resolution.

I personal think **** sucks! I only bank with the bank because my husband banks there. I am waiting for him to find a new bank so we can leave. I deposit small amount check from my attorney (refund) on the 24th and those bit** have been holding my money. I called to sew when my money would be released and they said 31st. So from Dec 24th until Dec 31st is a long dam time to hold someone money. I am over this bank and as soon as I can next year, I will be leaving with or without my husband. I've so many reviews on how that mistreat black people until I'm beginning to think every word is true.

On November 30, 2024, I went to Navy Federal Credit Union in **************, to close my checking account because it was compromise. I told this to the representative who assisted me. I explained my problem and told her I need to closed my checking account out. before closing my account, I had her to transfer $100.00 to my savings account. Then she closed my checking account out , I left and I began receiving ACH over daft fees. I then called **** and spoke to a representative on November 7, 2024. Telling the representative she checked my account and the she seen where the error was made. She then credited my account three of the over defied fees back to my account and she left messages and told me to call back next week. Upon calling back on November 10, 2024, I explained my cases severally times not to get any help until I ask to speak with a supervisors Her name was ******. Again explaining my self over and over again, to be told it's nothing they can do for me. This is why I'm contacting you, to see if I can get this resolution resolved. I lost my husband who served this country with two tour of Vietnam, you would think people would have better respect for the veteran and their family. I'm under so much stress, and to be with a company since the early 2000, I never thought that I will be treated this way. I can be reached at thank you for your time in this matter.

I am making a complaint about money being withdrawn without my knowledge from all of my savings accounts on December ******* including the accounts ending in 7341 for $512.02 also $148.13, 4550 for $77, 4385 for $160.03, and 9687 for $62. As an active Navy Federal user since 2018 I should have received a notification to resolve any issue (payment plan) instead all of my finances are gone. I have the right to feel disquieted with this company and never want to have a checking with this institution ever again, because of Navy Federal my holidays are ruined. Mrs ***** who I spoke with regarding the issue in account ******************** had no sympathy during our call. I will take my direct deposits and other money to another bank that doesnt withdraw from accounts without a notification first. My trust with Navy Federal has diminished as a whole. My military family will hear about this

The wait time on the line is always over a hour with only 1-2 people working. No one assist you unless you are in the line while others are just sitting around.

Itd avoid using navy federal. They love to randomly change your APRs and provide tons of fees. Then when you call them out on it, they just say oh well we tried to submit a claim but they arent going to do anything most likely. They dont try and will s**** you. They also just had a nice scandal stealing from hard working veterans.

On two occasions I have submitted documentation to show my business account has been charged incorrectly by another business. I submitted the proof to Navy Federal and each time my claims have been denied saying there wasnt enough proof. It bothers me when I literally have factual proof but still cant get the bank to assist me when the merchant will not respond. I am planning to close my accounts with Navy ******************** and switch banks.
